The Awesome thing about Matthew and Stacey is that their content continuously gets better in every way. The videography, audio, drone shots, everything keeps improving. Fantastic storytelling mixed with awesome footage. 1M subscribers when? Q3 2024 is my prediction. Let's go!
Who knew Mexico would be so amazingly beautiful. And that it's still so untamed that I am brought back 2 childhood memories of camping with the butterflies. This has become my destiny.
toyota world runners upload notifications are my favorite notifications to receive!!! that means that evening, ill sit back and relax for half an hour and let all the days problems melt away while i enjoy a great story and scenery 😍🙂👌
Hi Matthew, I am new to your channel and love the concept of the journey and how you chose to do it. Not as a race but as an expedition of discovery. You seem to have many of the advantages that would “give you an edge” with this endeavor: A hands-on knowledge of your vehicle, skill with tools and video, and having the foresight to take along a drone, and having a little knowledge of Spanish. However, I think your greatest help in making this a successful trip is the cheerful and smiling attitude of both you and Stacey. And what a partner she is. Drone pilot, relief driver, gate opener etc. etc. Never grumpy, (at least not on camera) Not a picky eater and will try anything. As you can tell, I have fallen in love with Stacey... . . but not to worry,, you are prettier than me, and I am 88 year of age and my wife and I have been happily married 69 years. 😊) Long may you adventures continue.
New subscriber here! You have shown a completely different side to Mexico that no one else seems to venture to. I'm blown away by the waterfalls and the way you are documenting your journey. I look forward to catching up on all the vlogs. Safe travels guys!
Lols "Tu necesito..." You're mixing your conjugations! As someone who has barely been anywhere outside the US, I really appreciate being able to experience travel vicariously through you guys. What you are producing is really special and of high quality. Stacy, you're an amazing writer!
How does this channel not have millions of views and way more subscribers is mind blowing I love these videos and have to cool fellow bcers is the best keep it up you two are soo awesome 😎
Thanks for the sweet words about Stacey. Life’s journey is about the people you travel with. Thanks for the great jungle footage. Growing up in San Diego and traveling in Baja, it is far different than the desert i know.
can i make one suggestion? when you are talking about the places your going to or are arriving at, is there any way to show that on a map or something? i dont know how much of a pain that is to edit but it would give a good scale of how far you are traveling in one episode... just an idea lol. love the videos! you two are amazing! I can't wait for the next one :)
Another incredible video, the vibrant colors of the area are breath-taking on video and I can only imagine what they are like in person. As you were riding through the backcountry, I found myself in awe of the courage it must take to do what you guys are doing. To be isolated in a foreign land with only a smattering of their language must be both frightening and exhilarating at the same time. Matt's comment about finding and holding onto the right person is so true. I found mine (actually, she found me) almost thirty years ago and I couldn't imagine this life without her. Stacy seems to have a great Joie de vivre (if I might use French in a Mexican location) that just seems to spill out of her at times. Her joy seems as if it would be contagious and lighten the mood of everyone near her. The part of Mexico that you guys are showing us is something I never knew of. Like many, I think of endless deserts instead of the beautiful mountains. Choosing a favorite waterfall would be like choosing a favorite flower or snowflake as they are all beautiful in their own way. Why so many people leave this enchanted land to come to America and live in slums is beyond me. I guess we all have our dreams of a better life.
Thank you as always for being here, Phil! We wish we could translate the actual colours for you but I don't think you'd believe your eyes! We feel so grateful to be travelling in a part of Mexico most travellers don't go. There's truly a surprise around every corner. And the authenticity and generosity of the Mexican people is real and felt.
You're content makes us feel so much like we are there with you - almost felt I had to go out and show Jade and Beau what your're up to - they're feeling a little lonely here ☺ Loving the videos and the Blog As always you two - much love ❤
1 in a million for sure!!!! You both are very lucky people to have each other and share this lifestyle together! I swear just about everyone thinks I'm bat shit crazy for all my ideas and plans! Soon very soon my puppy and I will be doing just about the same. My dreams have started small and now they have also started to get kinda crazy I can't deny.
Hey guyz, love following along on your adventures. Mexico suits you both so well. I absolutely drool over your Chinook ! Eagerly awaiting the next chapter. Cheers from Michigan's Upper Peninsula! "Superior Overland"
Beautiful shots of the waterfall! Thought there seems to be quite a difference in volume levels between narration, the camera mic and music. I find myself having to constantly max out the volume to hear narration then quickly turn it down so the music doesn't blow my speakers...not sure if that's an adjustment that could be made while editing. Thanks guys, awesome adventure!!
Good evening from the still warmer than usual south Okanagan, thanks once more for the ride along. You're right about the greenness reminding me of the Island for sure. Another fine job of editing, filming and music choice. Safe travels you two.
@@ToyotaWorldRunners Well funny you should mention it - as we just got a couple inches of rain as well as hail... We shall see in the morning what is left of the garden!
Wow, every episode is getting better, I did not realize how extreme the terrain is down there in central Mexico, I found your channel while following Eva Zu Beck and Next Meridian, I hope to do this trip within the next 5 years. Your Toyota Motor home is one of the coolest 4x4 rigs I have seen. It is worthy of being in the Toyota Booth at SEMA show when you get back. Good luck. Gary from Alberta Canada.
Thank you for seeing it as it is! That's exactly what we aim to portray. There's no perfect roads, but it all write a good story and we'll be here to tell it. We're in for the brews!
Another “Epic”adventure. As usual “Loved it”.Really feel like we’re there!P.S.Found that special person 29 yrs ago and still exploring the world!🤘(Took the the quad to Rowbotham last weekend)🎣🥰
Cheers from the Northeastern Rockies of your home province. Love me some waterfalls & this was epic footage. Thanks for your hard work, safe travels! 🥾🏔🇨🇦❤️
Beautiful waterfall! Have you noticed whether fuel is mostly gasoline or is there also low sulfur diesel suitable for late model engines running DEF? I always hear gas is the way to go with overlanding south of the US border. Enjoying your travels. Stay Safe!
WOW! Thank guys for sharing with us. Mexico is very beautiful in so many ways, sometimes you have to get off the main paths to see it. One trip is hardly enough so I can feel a part 2 sometime in the future....Also, the street hustle is always the same, there, here in the states and abroad. But hey, all of us have stories to tell for ever after the adventure so enjoy yours.
Amazing I've been thinking about moving to Argentina (one way trip) with the Mrs and doing this for over a year. Been watching a ton of overlanding content etc and this series will be perfect. I'm from Vancouver so pretty much the same starting point. Amazing trip and content. looking forward to the rest. Congrats!
Two new subscribers here. Great job both of you as couple. I'm pretty inspired by your explolaration and adventure. Keep up the good work. 👍. Saludos desde San Diego Ca.
Another great video. Off the path adventures. The green vast country of Mexico is no doubt something to be hold. Changed my view on Mexico, also thought it was nothing but beaches. Safe travels itching for next video.

This experience will change you forever and I'm so eternally grateful you are sharing this. Your drone shots are the best I've seen. I came here for the Toyota and the beer reviews.
