Such evocative memories of my childhood; exploring those caves, searching the rock-pools, hearing the maroons firing to gather the lifeboatmen for rescue at sea. Love your channel. Keep walking!
I loved going to Cullercoats Bay in my childhood…many happy memories…my grandfather was manager of the Bay Hotel , John (jack) Henderson…I don’t think it’s there anymore very sad! …
oh wait, the infamous white trainers make an appearance ^_^ Great description of the rocks, yes indeed very Crunchie bar like :) Watch out for the killer pigeons ^_^
beautiful video and absolutely stunning beach. you're giving me some inspiration here cos im coming up to Ashington at bank Holiday. this isn't an area I know well like bamburgh Beadnell etc. are dogs allowed on the beach at Cullercoats do you know? I have a list of beaches to do if the weather's decent a proper beach crawl! ⛱ 🌞☀ ⛱😎
@@GimbalWalkTV no it is Cullercoats Bay, Brown's Bay is between Cullercoats and Whitley Bay which is a gravel beach and lots of rocks, smaller than Cullercoats.
The trouble with suggesting places, is that we don't know which part of the country you are heading to next . . . But perhaps Seaham might be good (North East) I especially want to see "Tommy" (a statue on the beach - real name "11.01") I did do a search to see if you had done it but did not find it. I you say you are goibg to be, for example Western Scotland, viewers could suggest some interesting places ... just an idea. Keep em coming 👍🤩
That's normally the case but there was so much wind that day all it recorded was scchghgghggggghghhghghghghhghghhghhhhhgghhhh (that's wind noise by the way!) so I had to put music over it this time

Good question Claire - not sure on the dogs - I think so though
dogs are allowed on the north end of the Longsands which was at the start of this clip.... enjoy the north east coast.
I know this place really well (Browns Bay) 👍👍👍👍
Ah is it known as Browns Bay?

That's fine - I always just head for the sunshine really so I eventually get round to all suggested places - keep the ideas coming!
Red brick building is part of Newcastle University.
Ah thank you!
White trainers in the rock and beech 😏
Oh yes - the famous white trainers go everywhere!
They show no fear!
They're the famous white trainers!
would be nice with commentary instead of singing.
