Hi, I only have one honest question, and I dont mean at all to be controversary. Is the right hand chord at 2:48 what Mozart really intended? It seems wrong to my ears and stands out so differently from the proggresions of the surrounding chords as it doesnt seem to match up with any other. Im not doubting Mario, Im wondering if it was a simple synthesia mistake or they way Mozart really intended it to be. Hope you can understand and would like to hear feedback about it. Its a deep piece and I dont like to cover pieces Im not 100% on. Thanks and no offense at all. Thanks Mario for all you have given us.
It feels that way. I cant read sheet music, so. But I am learning Bach and Mozart and...from what is transcribed on the whole I can see and feel by following in their footsteps, how...I think...how I think what they were thinking. For the most part. But I want 100% or I wont take it on. I just want to learn the right way.
I think if you want to learn classical the right way you should get a teacher and learn it from sheets. From what I've heard, playing classical properly can be very difficult without a teacher. Also I don't know what the right chords are, but I think the dissonance there really fits. EDIT: I watched it one more time, I think the dissonance comes from the D#/F# in the left hand. They're the only notes that don't come in other places in the piece. From it's 2:46, the 3rd, 4th and 6th in the left hand. The C on the 2nd right hand chord (from 2:46 again) sounds wrong too, maybe a C#? I'm not 100% sure.
Sorry to break it to you lad but Mozart died before writing that. The Lacrimosa was completed by one of his (best?) students. He only wrote up to measure 8 which is about 0:50 in fact imo that is the best part. The rest sounds like milking the melody.

In my opinion there is nothing sad about it. What matters more, the music and the emotions it induces in the people who listen to it or the recognition it receives. Personally i think the composer would be joyed that their music is still being experienced by people through other forms of media and even after so many years it can still be enjoyed by people who have different tastes. Am i not somewhat correct?
Maybe. If I were a composer, I would be happier if my music didn't receive recognition because it took a backseat to another medium like anime. I would ask that people enjoy the music for what it is, not what it reminds them of. Of course, people are naturally inclined to find patterns in things.
