me too! I already did like half of it (the important parts). my dad rlly love this piece and i'm so glad i can record and sent it to him even if it was just the half :)
Everyone thinks this is difficult but what they don't know is that to combine the hands you have to practice then learn a small part of the song and realize that it is very simple and that much of it is a repetition, this song is very beautiful but it is not difficult, try it and you will be super happy with the result
im13 and just started my first piano lessons after teaching myself, i also thought this piece would be very hard but if you try part by part it sounds amazing! thank u for encouraging me to learn it :)

This music is like a kiss from the Holy Spirit! When I was 7 and at a play mates home, another such blissful moment happened as "Clair de Lune" came over the radio. I remember stopping with my hand still on the door knob and standing mesmerized. Thankfully the announcer gave the name of the piece. I ran to my music teacher ( Madam Seidlovia in remembrance) and begged her to teach me how to play it. One of the ways love can pull us forward beyond our present abilities. To this day ( 50 yrs. later) I play this wonderful gift with as much joy as I did for the first time. The hearing of George Davidson and also Toms Mucenieks bringing "Marriage d'Amour to life is only the 2nd time I have had my soul captured so completely and unexpectedly! I was searching for an entirely different genre when this UA-cam crossed my path and I haphazardly "clicked" on the video. It is wonderful too to read the similar responses posted by so many of you. To anyone who longs to play the piano I say, just get what you need and begin. There is no greater love to comfort your heart all the days of your life.
The night of August 6th ... I'm sitting in my kitchen in Texas and I can't stop listening to this music. I love this music. I listen to it over and over again. This music is so wonderful!
*It hurts to see this many people say this is Chopin's Spring Waltz...* 1. He never wrote a Spring Waltz. 2. This isn't what a waltz sounds like. 3. This isn't Chopin's style.
There is actually this other synthesia video tutorial on mariage d'amour but it's called Chopin's spring waltz, I think that's why alot of people are saying this because they got it from that video
This is one of only a handful of pieces of music that can bring me to tears. I've started practicing it yesterday and I can already play the first 40 seconds perfectly. Surprised how easy it is. What a beautiful masterpiece of music.
I'm a beginner and have been playing for about 6 months. The piece is beautiful, I will try to learn it too. Yesterday, however, I noticed that my right hand didn't play the double tones that quickly. I hope I can get it done with practice. Sorry for my bad English
I've watched almost all videos of yours including your covers, originals and tutorials, and I must say all videos are so elegantly made with passion. Perfect is the word!
Ce morceau procure tellement d’émotions... je l’ai découvert il y a peu et j’ai couru jusqu’à mon piano pour l’apprendre mdr. Vraiment un régal de le jouer merci 😊 ☺️
Im going to learn the right side first, then learn the left and add it in. Edit: I finished 22 seconds of the song so far. It’s hard to put the hands together. Edit 2: Im at 40 seconds and it’s going pretty well
Good luck. Though I recommend learning both together, as it helps in the long run :D. This keeps you learning the pacing together and at the same time, otherwise you might end up playing one too fast, and the other slower, and it makes it hard on yourself when you go to play them at the same time.
And im the son of my father my father is a master but i dunno im young 22 and eventhoughi got a exeptional hearing and exeptional rythm in me i just cant no matter how much i practice i cannot play different stuff on both hands So im like how do you people do it and please dont say the cliche i just do it
Respect for putting the correct title! A channel on here acknowledged they were sticking to the Chopin title for their video so they could get the most views. Your channel is underrated.
You know what I realized after watching this video? That you really can't teach old cow new tricks! :( I'm used to sheet music, but my 12yo started playing piano by watching these kinds of tutorials and picks up new pieces much faster than I do with the sheet music! Thanks for posting this, it is really a great way to encourage and inspire iPhone generation to learn the piano!
When I feel extreme loneliness I want to hear this consolation from my soul, I miss what I don't even know what, but I have to live until I fly to the skies, from Brazil, on a night when I'm sad!
Its really not as hard as you think when you break it down. The left hand is almost always 1/5/10 with Gm, Cm, F, Bb and the right hand is just some fast melody which will come easy with practice :D
I have started learning this like two weeks ago and the goal is to finish in three weeks! I am now on 1:31 at speed 0,75 Update: still there but still practicing
I'm so glad that UA-cam allows us to change the playback speed... if I set this on the 0.25 speed, I can probably learn it. Probably the most beautiful piece of music I've ever listened to in my life.
I’m gonna make it my personal mission to learn this and play this by the end of 2023. So maybe in the future il respond to my self and see if I’ve made it :) wish me luck🍀
A while ago, I just keep thinking the Richard Clayderman version was better, because that time I just found it easier. In fact, the Richard Clayderman version was easier but after seeing this video, I realized this one was so much better. Thank you for the tutorial!
