Cat, I understand what you are saying about writing out the Bible. I do it too but in a journal. Taking my time & meditating on the scripture. I enjoy it and God has shown me so much through his Word. I paraphrase what Iv’e read and write scriptures that speak to my heart and then I write notes after each chapter using commentary books. I love taking my time and getting to know the Lord this way.🙌❤️✝️

I struggle with focus. I have ended up listening to a dramatized version of the NKJV while simultaneously reading from the KJV. I write down differences in translation as I go. It has kept me so focused. It often leads me to track down why the word was translated differently or maybe also seeing where I’m not quite understanding what is written so I then look at additional translations and also the strongs. It’s been really great!

I’m curious where you are with this project. I just finished writing the New Testament. I have already copied the Psalms and Proverbs, and will be soon starting with Genesis. I’ve used various journals and notebooks, but for Genesis I’m going to use the Journible 17:18 journals. I am amazed how you’ve managed to write so small.

Cat, nice review, and what an accomplishment! I have 4 matching beautiful journals that I am going to write the Bible in. I’m going to use a single column Bible. My problem is that my cursive is so awful now, (because of the traumatic brain injury), that I would need to print instead. I have not started because I really wanted to do cursive. I have practiced, but my cognitive issues prevent me from writing in cursive, and it won’t get better in time. What are your thoughts on using printing vs cursive? 💜✝️
My cursive looked horrible too. Like a second grader wrote it. But...but with hours & hours of practice and time and only caring about what I was writing down not what my handwriting looked like that's when I noticed a slow change over these last few years. Be patient with yourself and you don't have to ever share it. It can be just between you and God. But I would highly recommend starting and not allowing how your handwriting looks stop you nooooo more momma😍😊😇
@@catwoods5499 Cat, as my kidney’s get worse, my cognitive issues get worse. Part of my brain is permanently damaged. Do you think printing would be dumb?
Ohhhh no no several of sisters are printing out the Bible. I mean the Bible is in print too 😊😉
