I read lots of devotional books and will take pages from them and put them In my Bible or my journal books. Also I do a lot of writing in my bibles and devotional books. I love the idea of the different colour markers. I do that too. I also put dates beside special verses that highlights a occasion. Or a prayer request and when it got answered. Thanks for sharing your wonderful ideas. May God continue to bless you in your worship time.
I just bought this bible recently. I'm getting ready to install tabs and go from there. I have tons of sticky notes etc. I love paper stuffs lol. I'jm trying so hard to grow spiritually. I struggle with faith (it's been a lifelong struggle) I feel God is refining me somehow by this crisis. I keep reading, studying, and moving forward. I just subscribed to your channel. All the best!
Be encouraged! You have a desire to grow near to the Lord, He see’s that! Pray and ask Him to help you and be intentional with being in His Word even in those times you feel you don’t get anything out of it. He will meet you where you are! Glad you’re watching!💛
I absolutely love this.. I have the same Bible.. The literal only thing I would caution about is making sure that ''Journaling'' and ''making it pretty'' dont become an act of idolitry.. make the act of reading and engaging with the bible, an act of Idolitry.. Taking notes and engaging with it need to be an act of worship.. Ive seen some videos where the journaling and adding in things have sort of made their Bibles an Idol..
Totally agree! If you follow me on my Instagram page, that is something I definitely make clear, it’s not about the way it looks or how anyone takes notes, it’s about growing our relationship with the Lord! Glad you’re following!
I think we have so many idols we are unaware of or can't admit to its double that God will be rebuking too many of us about too much excitement in our life about his word.
I'm with you. Our Bible is for us to learn and write on it the notes that help us in our study of His Word. Yes, we try to make it look good, but it is not the point. I have seen people drawing and painting on top of the words of their Bible, so the words are no longer readable. They use it as an art page and cover the entire page with art. To me, if it is no longer readable, it is a disrespect to God's Word. But taking notes, using highlighters, sticky notes, and color pens to make the text pop to us and help us learn it awesome! ❤❤❤
Love seeing how you journaled with this Bible! I use my single-column ESV journaling Bible for home use but I take my She Reads Truth CSB to church cause it's laid out nicely for extra notetaking and has more room for sticky notes and extra paper. Thank you for posting this kind of content, and I look forward to more videos!
I love your video! I needed to hear someone say it doesn't matter if you make a mistake taking notes. I am like you were that thinking it had to be pretty and perfect. I started a bible journal yesterday I kept telling myself God doesn't care if I'm writing perfect so long as I genuinely want to get to know God better. I am also telling myself what you said these are meant to be marked in and notes taken. I love the entire video! ❤ May God Bless You for making this video.
@@SharitCreations Praise God! So glad this video encouraged you❤️ Yes, the important thing is that we are in the Word regardless of how it looks. I pray you grow in grace and knowledge as you dig into His Word! 🌸
