I know its late, but we wanted to give our opinion on Hobbs & Shaw - the incredibly stupid action movie spin off from Fast & Furious, but is it good stupid or just stupid stupid? Our opinion! Stick around for the funniest spoilers section in awhile describing the ridiculous things!

Just want to point out that we didnt go into the movie expecting it to be "SERIOUS", we fully wanted it to be "OVER THE TOP FUN!" like you know, Fast Five, 6, 7, and 8. However the "OVER THE TOP STUPID FUN!" here is the issue, its actually STUPID STUPID, not FUN STUPID, compare the over the top fun to the other films I listed and it just doesnt quite measure up and doesnt land quite as well! At least in all three of our opinions!

at this point, I think the fast and furious is ready to be cross over with the avengers
Might as well throw in GI Joe, Transformers, and Harold and Kumar as well lol. The Rock could reprise his role as Hobbs and his character from GI Joe at the same time without anyone pointing out the confusion, who gives a shit at this point

The worst part is if you watched the movie the 6 minutes were like 26 because the guns came back online right before the helicopter crashed and after it crashed their were 4 minutes left on the extraction timer

The best part of the movie was when Jason Statham made the Italian Job Reference. Made my day.
Yesss! I was the only person in the theater who got that reference! Then again I was literally the only person in the theater haha

See,. The Rock was awesome in Fast 5. He was a serious badass. No cringey lines. He never even made one joke in that movie. The Rock was great in Fast 5

Fast & Furious under Justin Lin was good the ones he didn’t direct were garbage.
For me, Fast and Furious ended with Fast Five, canonically. I just imagine that Dom and Brian got away with the money and lived happily ever after by the beach.
Everything since has been increasingly ridiculous.

They could of just changed character's names and move on, rather than fuck up everything that came before. They didn't know if they're making a parody or an action flick.

@@MaverickneoGamer How is this not honest? I mean this is like the 9th film in the franchise. We have already seen everything. I think they are honest in saying a film like this should not be over 2 hours long. Also, they say the jokes aren't that clever and repetitive. I bet all that is true.

They're actually trying to make Shaw, in this Universe be also in his 20's, maybe early 30's, but because he's seen/been throgh some shit, he's looking so old. They are meant to be 2-3 years apart in the movie (but like everything else involving logic in this movie, let's ignore the fact that there's a 21 year difference between Jason Statham and Vanessa Kirby)

Fast 8 is great really. By that i mean it's very enjoyable and rewatchable. Very hard not to have a smile on your face the whole movie

I enjoyed it for what it was but they really should remove the Fast & Furious name at this point. To me, Tokyo Drift is still king.

What I love about this channel is that it’s just Joe and his friends enjoying or talking shit about everything. It’s so genuine and fun.
The most perfect warrior ever assembled. Black Superman with a transformer motorcycle who's only weakness is fighting 2 guys.

i loved how it went from complete darkness to mid morning, then they show the timer on the machine and only 9 mins had gone by.
I laughed my ass of at how bad the movie is, I've never laughed that much at a film in my entire life
One of my top 5 worst movies ive seen. But also in my top 50 or so funniest movies Ive seen. Although for this the humor comes from terrible movie production all around. Not from jokes. Or I guess just the one. Which is the entire movie haha

How about that night to day time lapse. Fight starts at night, and suddenly its day with a blue tint to mock a sunrise. They drive down the road and end up in a storm... real time 5 minutes.

How come this movie seemed to forget that Deckard Shaw’s brother Owen Shaw (Luke Evan’s character) exists in this universe? He was just in the previous movie Fate of the Furious? Wouldn’t he be trying to save his sister also?

TheDustyaman I did hear that line, I’m pretty sure he was talking about when he shot Idris’ character in their past. Cuz at the beginning of the movie Statham thought Idris was dead since the last time he saw Idris was when he shot him in the head and left him for dead.

It was entertaining....I liked Idris Elba character and his motorcycle
He looked super badass in the trailers. Was he the actual villain all the way through? And does he have any stupid scenes? I'm curious.
slvrcobra1337 he’s the villain through the whole thing they tease a higher up person (I’m assuming it’s John Cena idk why but I have a feeling) he has a few scenes where his dialogue is pretty bad but with what he was working with he did his best for sure. Definitely one of the better aspects of the movie

The last few times I've gone to the cinema The Rock and one of the other actors had a mini-trailer play where they'd hype the shit out of the movie. It was obvious the studio knew the movie was going to be trash.

Will say one thing, the guys mention it quick but there are 3 end credit scenes which one of them appears right at the end of all the credits

I just saw it yesterday i had too come and see they're review, this film was ridiculous 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 he really held a helicopter with a chain from flying away !
There was no thunderstorm at the end. They were fighting at the base of a waterfall and that was spray from the falls. It was dark because they were at the base of the cliff and the sun was still too low for the light to angle down to the bottom.
Hobbs’ character has become a caricature. I know one the pillars of F&F has become campy, non-stop action, but I can’t even attempt to take his character seriously anymore.
I always agree with you Joe but to be honest... joe i love you, but i personally really liked this movie for what it was.

Hey angry Joe, love your show, but there seems to be a huge variance in quality from show to show. I'm not sure if it's your processing, or UA-cam, but for instance, this video sounds like a phone call compared to your video of "Battlefront 2 revisited" which has a greater depth of sound and just sounds much better overall. Hope you can make some adjustments, thanks again. Love the show
I legit almost fell asleep 3 or 4 times during this movie.
This was an awesome video, everyone did awesome. But damn, OJ was comedic perfection in this one.
My take on the virus machine was that it's basically a variation of a dialysis machine. Just a fancy filter, blood goes in, capsules are filtered out, blood goes back.
films like this sound way more appropriate on paper rather than on the big screen & the trailers did little to nothing for me to show interest. i could also throw films like Yesterday & Stuber under the bus for a better comic strip idea yeah this film is really stupid.
