For anyone curious and want to know the details of why X: 3:13 & 4:13 Normally yelling is good for getting bears to get to a select location (traps or away from the area you want to mess with) and it can earn huge points for the time spent if you get a group of bears stuck together. Learning how to use it not just to scare them but to move them around is when it become a powerful tool. It was working on the 2nd bit, it just they were already at that location. They only get scared if you done something that make them worried in general first. 3:21 on insanity challenge you MUST drive them insane first (you can kill them or use a kill finisher once they are insane though). 5:03 Bears will become worried and even call for help if you broke or done something to make them scared. Honestly not a bad thing if you are going for gold or better though as it just means more bears to drive insane or to kill. 5:11 While screaming nonstop will in fact drive them insane (so the joke is in fact the truth) it will give you crap for points. Less points for repeated actions so doubly so. Ideally you will sabotage the surroundings and hope a bear will come out to fix it or use a landmine or bear trap for any bear still brave enough to come out on their own. 11:10 Some bears can see into the woods, ninja, zombies, vampires. Anything that is basically not a normal bear. It have nothing to do with the light. If Naughty is holding the leaf then you are hidden no matter how close a normal bear may be to you. 11:23 Beside for alt stats and behaviors (never seen a zombear use phones for example) all bears in the game are interactable just like normal bears. You can even drive them insane though they have a higher tolerance to it. 11:37 A fun gimmick for this chapter but yes they fight each other and it is intended, you can even start fights yourself if you know what you are doing with the right outfit. I believe the chapter also have a higher score requirement using that as a factor though so it isn't completely free. Ideally you would be running around killing the normal bears while you have the chance. 16:39 You can in fact kill them normally, you just need to kill them outright using traps or sabotages. You can't do any form of normal damage that doesn't outright kill them in an animation. He just took the no hit challenge far too literally. 17:58 Each chapter comes with their own bonus objective and if you start at the hut doing the bonus objective is always enough to get out. Smash the statue on your way though for good luck though and possibly the hut as well if going for max score.
19:59 & 20:53 Any outfit that let you fit in (such as the one he is wearing) make it so bears doesn't hate Naughty by default which they normally would. You can be seen as a normal bear until you do something that offend them. During the invisible challenge such outfits are very powerful because the challenge is basically "don't be seen by a bear that knows you are Naughty" making it so you can literally walk up to them without "being seen" until you do something naughty in front of that given bear. Unsure about this but a bear giving orders may or may not alert the other bears that you are in fact Naughty Bear. Generally it doesn't matter at that point because if bears are giving orders then they are group up and it is the perfect time to get massive score for gold+ medal.
20:13 Generally if you scare a bear while they are repairing the object can still be used by another bear. Sometimes they might try to attack you and break the object anyway though. If you kill using the object there is a high chance you will destroy the object in the process. Sometimes Naughty will kill by snapping their neck which allow the object to be used again but as far as I can tell it is RNG and not reliable enough to assume such. Arcade cabinets gave me a few neck snaps instead of breaking the object. It might depends when they are during the fixing animation. While I know a lot about this game I'm not an expert on it lol so can't say for sure. 20:37 The naughty points line can be scary for the player but it just letting you know where the source of the naughtiness (fear) is coming from. As noted earlier normal bears can not see you whatsoever when Naughty is holding the leaf. The leaf is THE SIGN that you are in fact hidden in that moment. The naughty point lines as given as a tip ingame can be useful for finding hidden bears, more so if willing to shout. Personally I just learn the map well and use the minimap. I can basically assume when a bear is fixing or hidden in a locker at this point. 22:47 The ribbons every non-VIP/army/cop bear in that area be wearing. That chapter bonus objective. Extremely easy to do to the point of being free imo. 23:35 why sabotaging the car/boat is useful. While they might not explode as you would had hoped for it does massively delay their escape. If both are sabotaged you could easily reach both no matter where you may be on the map. Also killing while they dealing with the sabotage always give a neck snap and doesn't break the item in question.
27:23 No clue what decide if a Unibear spawns in or not. Still learning that bit for myself but killing it or scaring it is a massive amount of points for something that you only need to punch once to be driven insane. They do vanish basically right after. Only on select vampire missions does it seem to have a guarantee spawn and seem to stick around for a long time. 29:09 Game is very buggy, stuff getting stuck so you can't grab them and bear AI just completely breaks to the point of just standing there often happens. Honestly you got quite lucky here. I personally would had just given up on it. I literally never put bear traps on the docks just due to far too many experiences of them becoming unobtainable afterwards. 29:21 Getting gold (or the diamond above it) is a true test of skills, sometimes you be lucky to even get silver on some stages and I personally see silver as the standard for this game. For gold you generally need to min-max the score by having a high combo, mixing your kills so none repeats and ideally drive every bear to insanity first. Most rewards are locked behind gold though it is totally possible to "beat the game" getting mostly silvers and not even having half of the outfits unlocked. 30:10 While the bears have general stats (zombies slow, they and ninjas can see in the woods, etc) every named bear have personal stats as well. Some bears are more cowardly and never fight back, some go insane quicker than others and they might even have different "combat stat" values though even if they do with the way you should be playing the game they ideally will be one hit kills with a finisher so extra health doesn't matter and you shouldn't be getting hit to test their strength value either. Learning the patterns of the bears and abusing them is kinda part of the game. Naughty Bear at times feel like a stalker psychopath simulator, good arcade style game but the undertones (or more like overtones) can give you irl creep vibes that might require you to put the game down for a bit.
30:56 In terms of not going for gold you are kinda an awful player by default to be honest but honestly the speed run challenges would be the last one you should ever aim for gold on. They are cancerous in terms of how tight they are. Thankfully if you hit 0 while going to your hut it will still count as a success. You just need to be on that map when it does. But yea, you are far from being a good player but the fact you are getting silvers honestly count for a lot, either you are clearing most of the zones for the fun of it or you just be doing well in terms of points/combo in general but you are totally on the right track if nothing else. I generally expect bronze from a new player for their first pass through. Though with that said you also gotten spoons which I had literally never seen before until now. 31:19 Yea basically, the game does a good job at teaching you but it require a lot of attention as it won't just give you a pop up saying "driving bears insane is generally worth more points than killing them outright", noticing how the bears acts, what the score message is saying and how the bears act and react to your actions can turn an awful player into a good one. An example is scaring a bear into offing themselves pretty much always stun all bears who see it for a moment so they can react to it. So surrounded by cops and the army bears but an insane bear is nearby? Scare him (which would be amazing for points in that moment anyway) then run like hell during the opening. The AI is basically predictable once you learn enough, something I personally notice for example is that arcade machines have a high value for repairs in terms of their AI and they basically can sense when something is broken and often run directly for it. A bear running for the docks at random? He fixing the boat most likely. 33:20 Awful plan, from what I can tell a bear will only ever interact with something once before they will never touch it again. The boat and car can make for amazing sources of free scares. If you sabotage them like you should then you will never have a bear escape. Gotta learn to use your limited resources to their max value. 34:38 You just so happen to found a legit amazing tactic for the game. Bears have set paths they will take and when hurt they will take smaller more defined paths around what I like to call "safe rooms" as the game seem to have select rooms the bears simply love to coward in when panicking. If injured they rarely (but still can) fight back but often time simply try to get away from you. You can literally herd them easily though even then they like to stay on their "safe paths" around their safe room. The fact you got the bear to go that way is honestly lucky as it can be a massive pain to get them off of their path without just turning around and going backwards on said path. 34:58 I like how you wasted this bear, every other bear was group up and you need to also make them insane. You even ironically stated that you feel like you are getting better at the game but the play here would to let the bear walk near the others where they can see him (or at the very least his dead body) and make him off himself then. Remember the goal of the points, it is to be naughty. The more you scare the other bears out the better and the best but limited way to do that is to kill bears right in front of them or have them see trapped bears in sight. Such would also make their sanity completely tank which is good not only for points during a high combo but for the challenge itself. Even if the bear never end up near the others it won't ever hurt you or try to escape and you can decide how to kill it later but if nothing else other bears seeing an insane bear help to drop their sanity and score points. If you have to question if to keep an insane bear alive or not then unless all of the other bears are also insane the answer is to just let him live for now. 35:18 Yea no clue why bears stand at the window and just laugh while others be dying. I think it is meant to signal to the player that they feel safe and to either enter an alt room (often time the bedroom, the bathroom windows aren't accessible) and sabotage that room at least or break the windows. Yelling sometimes work to have them rush out to try to whack you and if on a challenge that allows it shooting can be useful. Honestly it can be extremely annoying for a bear to get stuck in a laughing fit and it be too risky to just enter to scare/whack them due to them having powerful weapons or being on a don't get hit challenge. Often times if a bear isn't injured and not too scare yelling to get them out to chase you is the perfect time to have a landmine or bear trap on their path. Bears are stupid and never see the traps and if close enough to the house with other bears it might be useful to wait for another bear to try to free them to get two bears with the same trap, sometimes more depending on the numbers or how dumb the bears are (zombie bears seem to be willing to try to free another bear multiple times in a row though I never seen such from any other bear type). Issue is repeated kill methods or scare tactics give less points. During a x100 combo you do not want to waste time bear trapping 5 times in a row. Freeze combo items ("It's Naughty Time!") is meant to be pick up to allow for short delays during your killing spree so you can pick up different weapons and methods. Planting traps and weapons near the safe room (you can drop weapons with B but traps can only be return in their item form after another bear or yourself if willing to take the health loss disable it) so they be ready during your high combo could be a smart play if the map allows for it. 37:57 Generally the bears have horrible eyesight and can't see behind their backs (they will still react to murders done behind their back but they don't know about causation) they will only have "they heard a bear die" or such. It only become dangerous when they "see Naughty X" at any point in terms of scoring. The eyesight is about half of to mini map edge length though farther the better and unless they are standing directly next to the mirror you can generally get away with messing with the fuse box or the grill if they on the other side of the wall. If they see you do something naughty though they will want to beat you up. Good for leading them into traps as they will be brave enough to follow you into them but ideally on the start of the area when wearing a good outfit you would use the time to sabotage everything you can out of sight. Bears generally start in the same area, going on the same paths. If you learn the mission well you can easily know the order to do things and have it be safe without wasting any time. 38:47 Last few chapters are DLC chapters which if you have the gold edition of the game you got for free. So their requirements can be a bit weird. 40:03 He likely already knew this but for others who might be reading this. For context the kill finisher depends on the weapon you are holding and the animation is just part of the weapon in this case. Also he skip over the part where aliens show up. The game is oddly deep for an arcade styled game if my comments aren't a hint to that already.

I love having been a fan of Kevin for long enough to watch him revisit games after several years and if he remembers anything he learned the first time around he’s like “Yeah I totally knew this and it never took me 75% of a video to figure out”
Never change kevvy❤️
You're actually the second Kev in recent weeks to actually make me want to play this more
Kevduit and Kevin are my two dads
This game was my entire childhood, this, viva pinata and mw2. God this brings back the memories
What an absolute bonkers game. I definitely do not remember this game but I could 100% imagine my friends playing this back in the 360 days, lol. Love this. Thanks Kevin!
never played only heard of, but i always imagine that it would have a plot twist that actually the party was a surprise party for the naughty bear and everyone else was helping prepare it.
I really want a steam release for this game, it's hilarious! Also imagine if he was a teddy bear in the world of Toy Story 🤣
Lotso basically already is this bear
@hitmeupontele.gramcallmekevin1 So RT can't post his year in review, but YT still fails to clamp on these obvious bots.
So happy to see Kevin revisit this game! I loved his first 2 videos on it.
I loved this game so much, I have never been able to play the full game just the demo but I really enjoyed playing this as a child and this just hit me with such a wave of nostalgia. (I do think I played Naughty Bear Panic in Paradise though but it is such a core memory)
Me too!
I didn't understand the game, and I panicked when the bears chased me after I killed someone
@@lillysparrow Oh honestly same, it was still fun to play though.. I wonder if thats why I enjoy playing hitman as well XD
This game is like the darker version of that burger king sneak king game, and now I want to see Kevin play that
this comment brought back DEEP memories omg
This is perfect. I played this way back then on my PS3. When I think about it, this fits this channel so good.
Kevin never disappoints in his version of playing killer bears. Love all of your videos! I’d love to see you play Emperor’s New Groove on PlayStation. I’d love to see Kevin as a llama.
"He committed Sudoku" - Kevin 2023
The nostalgia I get when seeing this. I used to stay at a friends house & I'd wake him up for work in the mornings & most of the time I was just in the room playing Naughty Bear.
I'm glad it seems to have saved Kevin's progress, watching the Tutorial section I was worried he'd have to do it again like the first video since he didn't meet the point requirements.
Kevin never learns, and we love him for this
I remember being like 4-5 and just casually watching my older brother play this game, seeing him murder other bears in many ways. I know that it’s not too gorey or violent, but it was enough to turn me into a big violence fan in video games lmao
i remember the first time i saw this game, it was the first time kevin played it. such an icon
Given that just a small scare or two makes these bears crazy, I’m not sure how much you can even be blamed for these (constant) deaths. Also, I’m really glad you played this again. This is hilarious.
“Oh no, I’m not good at racism.” is a great quote. Lol
Yaaay Naughty Bear makes his return! Absolutely loved old videos on it!
38:16 That brings a whole new meaning to brass knuckles.
YES! I'm so happy he's revisited this game, his previous videos on it are sooo good
i loved your previous playthrough of this game, you truly are videogame genius
I used to play this as a kid, it's weird seeing it being played after all these years lmfao
Call me Kevin accidentally making an "all cops are racist" joke when playing as the sherrif in a race is just so coincidentally comical
I loved this game when it first came out... finding creative ways to take them out was fun
This was one of the few UA-cam video games I recall watching on my 1 hour of UA-cam as a kid, happy to see you replaying such a nostalgic game!!
You’re looking good Kevin! This new way of content creating and life balance seems to be doing great for you! Hope you’re doing well, and the videos have been great
For anyone curious and want to know the details of why X:
3:13 & 4:13 Normally yelling is good for getting bears to get to a select location (traps or away from the area you want to mess with) and it can earn huge points for the time spent if you get a group of bears stuck together.
Funnily enough, Jim Pickens' secret vampire outfit was of a brown creepy looking bear. Interesting, huh?
Im glad kevin returned to this game, loved the first couple of videos he made of this game before
after trying this masterpiece, anyone else remember fairytail fights and feel like it would be a great fit for kevin to play?
I played this with my daughter she loved it and laughed the whole time. She loved you defluffed them all lol. I wish I could play this again
I’ve been waiting so long for you to play this game again 😄 now, I’ll be waiting for a part two of the drunken man VR game 😄🤌🏻 “Have you ever been hit with an Asian man” lmao
I remember watching you're videos on these when they came out. Makes me so nostalgic in a good way! Thank you for coming back to this game :)
Fun fact, these are the same devs who later went on to make Dead By Daylight. Love these games, and it's certainly a great fit for your channel being as cutesy and dark as it can be lmao. Only T-rated game I know where you can run around killing all of someone's friends in front of them until you push them to suicide. ESRB might've been smoking something when they were reviewing this series tbh... 😅
btw: 5:39 you can wear certain bear's faces in Panic in Paradise. There's even a Leatherface DLC costume (and chainsaw) to pair with your collection lol. Again, this game gets so dark at times I question the T-rating so much. It might be fluff but holy shit man. 😆
This was actually the first game I watched Kevin play, so him going back to it is a pleasant surprise frl.
If it wasn't for you Kevin, i wouldn't even know this game, so, thanks for uploading a whole playthrough!!
I love to see you playing this, it is so fun!!
I'm so happy you're revisiting this game. It seemed like you had so much fun playing it the first times so it's great to see you play it again!
if this was more gruesome, it would be like happy tree friends
Thank you Kevin. You are a blessing to this world.
I remember getting gifted this game off a family friend when I was like.. 12? Guess my parents didn't bother to read into it at all but I watching Kevin now - I feel like it explains a lot...
Hell yeah man. This game was my jam when I was way too young to be playin it. Thanks man for bringing this not-classic classic back
I used to play the demo of this religiously as a kid, you just reminded me of a core memory, thanks kevo lol
This is just Hitman with teddy bears, and I love it
Gotta admit, this game is very interesting; feels like a big ol silly game including references to movies, silly challenges, immense violence, that sorta thing. It’s just really interesting!
Naughty bear, as weird as this sounds, was my childhood and how my father and I bonded. This brought back so much nostalgia 😢❤
"I have proven that I'm a very naughty bear" - Kevin 2023
watching Kevin play violent games gives me a serotonin boost! I love his long-type new content! More Kevin narrated content!
Hearing CMK say it's knotting time, and then knots all over them brings a whole new context to these bears I didn't need.
As a reader of fanfic... i hear you.
Now we need a play through of the Tropical island sequel
I've been really sick and out of it today and this video was exactly what I needed. This is so hilarious!
I miss this game so much.
I remember playing this game on my 360, lol! Glad to see you trying it out. I remember I got hella lost at some points, I’ll use this as a guide
I also remember playing it
when me and my brother's were younger, my uncle bought this for us, thinking it was a children's game. and we played that so much. none of us were actually too scared by it, despite me being too young to even understand the controls and still playing it.
Trapper moment
every couple months i come back to this video and it feels like bumping into a friend you haven’t seen in a while
Wow this game is nostalgia for me. I remember playing the demo waaay too much
I've been away between hospital and rehab for 3 months... I'm nearly crying happy to watch this. thanks bro
I'm so happy you're playing this again 🤣
yeah this exactly what I need mid breakdown while drunk to sleep to
A Naughty Bear remake would really hit the spot right about now.
35:44 the bear killing himself is named "private partz" 🤣
This is what I like to see! Kevin's Naughty Bear videos are so damn funny!
I laughted when at 0:37 smash mouth started playing after naughty bear kicked down the door
I love how Kevin likes to play games that most of us didn't know existed.
I actually genuinely excited for this video The two naughty bear videos are some of my favorites on this channel and I go back to them still to this day
Oh man -- so on the one side, you have serial killer Naughty Bear as played by Kevin; on the other, you have bears who are summoning zombies and planning to dig up the island for oil and letting VAMPIRES run all over the place. Basically this island needs to be quarantined for the safety of fluffy toys everywhere. XD
I remember playing a demo of this game on the ps3, this game is unhinged and I love it.
