This is one of my favourite song and you played it so beautifully. Loved it ❤. I've been planning to do this song on ukulele... guess I'll have to do it after my exams 😅.
Once you play enough, you'll get used to all the finger placements! Also it's super important to use your ears to listen for intonation and adjust based on the sound you hear, instead of looking at your fingers 🤓
I bought a violin a month ago but haven't touched it at all since the second day of buying it...where should i start? I didn't know self learning was a bad idea because it was very difficult and even to stay motivated 🙃
Hi! I would start with getting comfortable with how to hold the violin and bow - you can probably find UA-cam tutorials on this. Maybe practice playing on the open strings first. Then learn how to read sheet music in treble clef, and try playing some really simple songs!
Hi! I didn't use sheet music, but here is some piano sheet music that other people made. The top line is the same as the violin part: musescore.com/user/36935768/scores/20261989 (starts on measure 8), and musescore.com/user/41295225/scores/21806755 (starts on measure 11) - hope these help you!
Hii I'm a beginner violinist only been playing for like 4 months now, I'm 14 and why does it sound genuinely bad? It doesn't sound good a bit scratchy but not the scratchy as first time more like scratchy but not so scratchy if it makes sense, I play the notes fine and ik my finger placements and I don't put too much or too little pressure so I really don't get it, also I have no idea how ppl do vibrato 😭
The scratchy noise comes from the pressure you apply on your bow . The bow is really hard to master as you have to change the pressure with different positions of the bow and vibrato makes it even harder making the bow shaky but you will eventually get to sound good provided enough time and practice . Trust the process 😉
Hi! It's hard to say exactly what's making it scratchy since I haven't seen you play, but a few guesses could be moving the bow too slowly across the string, pressing down too hard with your bowing arm, or having too much rosin on your bow/strings. Moving the bow slowly + pressing down hard with bowing arm = scratchy sound. Using more of your bow could help make the sound come out more smoothly - think of it like the bow is gliding across the string! And you can also check out what @alwin3435 said in their reply :)
@@alwin3435 I think I apply normal pressure like not so hard and not so light but the thing isss that it doesn't sound like the beautiful violin we hear normally 😭 idk what to do honestly and I'm moving at such a slow pace + I haven't been practicing much bc final exams are this Saturday so
@@lulu__playzz2831 Hmmmm could it maybe just be your violin? Some student violins don't have the best sound (my early violins were like that too), but it could also be other factors that I'm not thinking of 😯
I probably won't be doing another video of this song :( but I just added the notes for the instrumental sections in my pinned comment if you're interested in learning it!
Thank you so much!! 🥺 I would recommend starting out with a student violin - it's best to go into a local music store where you can test out the sound to make sure it's decent quality LOL. Violin is easier to learn with a teacher in the beginning, but no worries if you can't get one - there are a lot of UA-cam videos explaining the basics! First I would get comfortable with: holding the violin and bow, reading sheet music in treble clef, and then you can start playing some beginner songs :)
