Saw a meme that said "I don't know what's harder for me to process right now, The Rock being a heel or The Undertaker being a UA-camr"
Undertaker being a youtube Podcaster is life's way of reminding you that DESPITE The Rock being a heel, it is NOT 1998, but is indeed, 2024
Well that was a dumb meme because the rock been a heel before
@@tacodelgrande2963There are folks who are adults now that weren’t alive when Rock was Heel. That’s why the meme went viral and was understandable. Everyone ain’t old as dirt like us and they don’t go back to watch past stuff.
Rocks been a heel before in 1998 and 2003.
@@ashconbeats8414
As the comment above your's pointed out which kinda blew my mind it's adults now who wasn't alive when Rock was last a Heel... someone born in '03 would be hitting legal drinking age now/soon and Taker even as American Badass isn't someone we'd expect to be say a TV/radio host(since podcasting wasn't really a thing or at least a huge thing at the time) at all.
this podcast should have been called ''dead man talking''
A few years back Conrad Thompson booked him for one of his Starrcast events and it was indeed called that which makes me wonder if Conrad trademarked it which is why Taker isn't using that for this show.
Dead Man Do Tell Tales
@@mattthomas1442 Isn't that the event Vince wouldn't let him go to?
@@kavej-ge8cb Yep
😂😂
The Rock has one of my favorite lines that he's said and it just so happens to be against The Undertaker mid match while Taker was making a rare appearance as commentator. "I'll slap the dead off your monkey ass and give it back to you!" 😂😂
Yeah I remember that, the Rock took on tye headphones and told him to shut up and said that and then threw the headphones back to the table!
My favorite is when he did the promo backstage and was like Undertaker be like *DiE dIE diE* and all that stupid crap 😂😂😂
That's my favorite line too. I busted out laughing when I first heard it
Seeing Undertaker doing faces for thumbnail is something I NEVER expected from him to do
Timestamp?
Why faces ?? Did I miss out lmao
@@Rey.Moskitothey changed the thumbnail
Glad to see people like Taker still respect & appreciate The Rock, during an era when WWE Fans hate him to the point they harassed and sent Death Threats to his Daughter but I'm glad Dwayne is back to do this hype & mysterious storyline he's cooking with Triple H.
At the end of all of this, The Rock still has the massive Hollywood & Fitness Communities who have a Love/Hate relationship with him but they support & respect the guy, even DC Fans never threatened him or his family it's been a crazy return for the Brahma Bull.
Yes I agree all these rock haters were probably his biggest fans back in the day. Lots of bandwagon hate and he deffo deserves his respect
WWE fans? One death threat and you consider it whole WWE fans?? Man..use your mind please. Don't act like a kid
Fans? Those aren’t fans those are toxic people
Those aren't fans, those are in the basement incels my guy 😂
@@lukegeorge927naw all the rock haters wasn’t even round for the attitude era
Even though he's older, I think Mr. Mark Calaway has a bright future as a UA-camr. On a side note, he really looks like The Undertaker from the WWE
Unlike Vince. He looks nothing like the Vince from wwe
This channel will continue to grow for sure. I'm super excited about future content he will do.
He's boring
Should we tell him??🤭😉
the rock says IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT YOU SAY
The rock is something special for real he is the definition of true success and how far he has come wow
Completely spot on talking about how this generation of wrestlers doesn’t bring anything new to the table. Back in the 90’s you guys felt like larger than life characters. Nothing about this new age shares that charisma & authenticity. All sort of generic prototypes.
What do you think about Lio Rush
Back in the '90s we were children so of course they seemed larger than life. Guys who grew up on Bruno or Superstar said the same shit about the Attitude Era. We're turning into our grandparents earlier and earlier with this shitting on the younger generations crap. Like Vince wasn't hiring script writers and changing shit minutes before showtime when he wasn't fucking them over. Dumb comment. Do better.
Can't believe The Undertaker never faced The Rock or Stone Cold Steve Austin at Wrestlemania, they would have been one of the biggest matches ever
It would've been great but they protected the streak and protected Rock and Austin's brands by not losing to the streak. Not Taker but the streak. Shawn was an Outlier.
Facts 😂
They had plenty of bangers on other ppv but they would have protected all Three of those at all costs therefore no WrestleMania matches.
Taker posing for thumbnails is hilarious😂
This UA-cam game is not for the weak of heart. You either stand 10 toes down in being your authentic self or you sell out to catch fire in the algorithm.
@@osaji922I love your toes
I don't think he posed, it looks more like a single frame taken from video.
He is messing with us.
Never thought that the Deadman who we all feared when we were kids would become a full-time UA-camr after retirement huh? 😂
You can tell he wanted to help Bray no matter what. He saw himself in Bray.
RIP
And Undertaker also made Bray look strong during their feud unlike guys like Goldberg who just wanted to squash him or Brock Lesnar who never even wanted to wrestle him.
Bray Wyatt reminded me of undertaker back in wwf. He was my favourite wwe superstar and hated when he left the company. He was beginning to bring something more on the table. As a Samoan myself Bray Wyatt was incredible compared to Roman Reigns and I was sad when he left so early. He was so creative and unpredictable.
I wish The Fiend could've taken the torch from Taker and be the new "big threat" (of course not saying they were equal) and have his own streak (even if somewhat hsorter or something). 😢
Undertaker losing to Brock at Mania 30 and then winning against Bray at Mania 31 is probably something he regrets. Of course he was only going the direction he was told to go because he’s the company’s greatest all around employee, but had those decisions been reversed I believe that Bray would’ve been in the role he deserved the most as the top guy.
Taker “Ey I don’t think this kid is gonna make it” 😂😂😂😂
Rock showed them beyond what they could ever hoped they could do themselves
This was the Rocky Maivia era don't forget.
@@eclectica1 I know it’s just the way taker said it
Taker gave that kid a clean win over him remember?
@@SonGoku21-0yea I remember that match rock mess up but the people's champ fans trying to deny it😂😂😂
Hello Undertaker, can you make an episode on the great Eddie Guerrero? Any memories of working with him? Any funny stories of being with him backstage?
That Would Have Been Something Special Maybe A WrestleMania Match Would Have Been Iconic
I was just at his grave two years ago. And was just thinking I need to get back and pay my respects.
The Austin 3:16 promo actually came before the Bret match. The King of the Ring win/promo got him noticed, which led to working with Bret twice.
I put it down to 30 years on the road. He's bound to get somethings mixed up.
@@NoMoreHearn Yeah I find it funny the fans know this stuff by heart at least that era, The wrestlers themselves often have things not quite right. Same thing with rock stars not remembering which songs are off what album. All in all I’m sure Taker had his own things to focus on.
If the undertaker says that's how it went down then that's how it went down lol
@@513hook513lol its like fuck the facts taker word is law 😂
True, but Austin’s character work during Survivor series 96 feud was incredible. It was a combination of everything mentioned
The deadman is taking souls and digging holes in youtube, i love it.
Ayo.
Some people just cannot sit still. My brother is that way, so is The Rock. While one would be considered to be a lot more successful than the other, it’s that type of a person who creates his success almost completely on his own.
1:52 Glad That Undertaker remembers Bray Wyatt like that. Bray Wyatt was the guy who i loved i lot!
Undertaker appreciate hard workers who doesn’t have pity parties but choose to work harder to become better.. Always been a fan of both Undertaker and the Rock.
I once met Taker in a KFC. I said hello. He enjoyed his meal
when?
did he say hi back? or just ignored you and enjoyed his meal?
Rest in 3 Piece
In other words he ignored you..
Lmao@@greenkidd529
I never thought Rock sucked, even when he started. Mark probably saw him before he made his debut.
Legit my favourite wrestler that streak was awesome and when you think he is finished no he now has a UA-cam channel LETS GOOO!!!
Undertaker....the true goat
The Rock in his prime from 1998-2003 was the Ric Flair of that time... He could do it all...
Stone Cold prime was in his 30s. Maybe around 1999 when he was 35.
Austin in his prime from late 97-early 02 was outta this world.
his stops at 03?😭😭 bruv he was still goated till 2010ish w the hbk storyline
@@ramelsolohell no, not bad but not his prime
The Rock had it all, he could wrestle, make a good promo/ clown wrestlers, and could dress. The Rock had swag like Ric Flair, great gimmick, and was on the best wrestlers on the mic/wrestle!
I think when he started calling people Jabroni, wearing the dress shirts and lifting the eyebrow was when he took off in my opinion.
Have to give respect to the hard work this blokes done. It's honestly a true miracle he has come out of his shell and stepped away from the gimmick. Inspirational work ethic and intuition on all levels.
We need you man. The stories the educational wisdom from a true OG.
Undertaker such a good speaker you can see he was the leader in the locker room coming from a hbk fan
Undertaker is the 🐐
He's like the Michael Jordan of Wrestling
@@Nate-in8kwagreed
I love Taker but nope. It’s between Hogan/Flair/Austin/Rock. But Taker is Top 5 tho.
@@Servant.of.the.MostHighSWT imo undertaker and stone cold are on the same level
For what he has done. Undertaker deserve to be a UA-camr. Or whatever he wants to do his post retirement. I'm down with it
Naaaah not Taker with the youtubey thumbnail 😂😂😂👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 love it man.
Love these keep it up deadman much respect and thank you for the great memories!
Not only is he doing UA-cam, he knew to post this the same day that the rock was on Smackdown. At the optimal time to upload as well👏
I could listen to these stories all day
My husband showed me this channel the other days and I’m obsessed I’ve loved Taker for years! It will be my background noise when I’m doing the cleaning from now on. As some UA-camrs do I think he should choose a name for his followers, I humbly offer the suggestion “Mark’s morticians” 😂
Creatures of the night.
After being Undertaker for decades...He is calm & cool.
Even after achieving so many milestones in Wrestling Industry...He still has energy to stand for his passion "Wrestling". Legend in my books forever
One thing i like about taker: He admits that in ring performance isnt what makes you a draw. "He had that great match with bret, but the promo tho"
We appreciate you changing the thumbnail Matt 😎👍
Its always great to hear Mark Callaway’s take on things. There is no one with more authority on the subject of wrestling!
What i love about this is The Undertaker never seemed to do the public circuit interviews etc back in the day.
Was weird seeing him in Suburban Commando.
Still no promo tours or interviews.
Dudes got a lot of stories to tell and im glad he waited.
♥️🍻
So happy the thumbnail was changed! We are here for the realness. Don’t forget it!
So good to see Taker out and doing his thing with the Podcast
Taker vs Rock in 98, 99, 00, 01 and 02 was EPIC
Thankyou for changing the thumbnail. Taker is a legend, a generational talent. There was no need to have him make thumbnail faces like everyone else. It’s taker, we’re gonna click no matter what, funny faces isn’t drawing me to watch taker lol all love guys
Ya got something special building
Nah the new thumbnail is just lame the old one actually is better
It was for the algorithm..how do you whiners not understand that yet?
I was 4 years old during the Big Evil feud with Brock but I still vaguely remember watching Smackdown repeats and No Mercy 2002!
I remember Wrestlemania 20 return vs Kane clear as day even though I was only 6 years old! Those were the days.. where has the time gone...
You and me both. Time has escaped my grasp.
I love you Undertaker !
The Rock is one of those guys that is willing to business and has patience, but is also willing to adapt his character to the times, and not resort to "that doesn't work for me".
Triple H fits into that list, Taker, Kane, Bob Holly, Mark Henry etc etc.
Undertaker hit the nail right on its head! 🙌
Bray was really really special.
Crossed all the boundaries and won all the hearts.
WE WILL MISS U WYATT.😭😭
Taker IS sweetest Guy in WWE WE love you Hakim from algeria
Omg the channel is real! I thought it was just a meme. This is awesome!
Taker was spot on about this generation of wrestlers.
Absolutely love the video ❤❤ I wish they would of let him do the American badass taker more. I felt like it was his best version
Something I thought I never needed till I got it was an undertaker UA-cam channel.
Taker is such a joy to listen too.
Undertaker
Seeing the thumbnail of this video is the most surreal thing to me probably ever.
I remember during the attitude era, Rock would make fun of Taker’s tattoos and his head. Memories.
The Undertaker on UA-cam and doing poses on thumbnails is mindboggling.
Before Taker said it was the Same thing with Austin. I literally said in my head just like Austin. A master on the Mic. General in the ring. Crowd commander.
I think it's hilarious that taker is now on UA-cam haha great seeing him laugh tell stories and cut up... haha this is fun yet surreal..and your still my favorite mr.calloway ...and still mine and my dad's favorite 😊
The Rock persona is just nothing more than his Flex Kavana persona, just amped up to 11
"That Undertaker guy... What we paying him for?" LOOOOOOOOOOOOL
Maybe don't let the undertaker make clickbait faces for thumbnails, he doesn't require that.
(Edit: They have changed it)
It's funny if you ask me.
I'm pretty sure it's called 6 Feet Under With Mark Calaway, not The Undertaker.
He
Will always be undertaker to us lol@yhprum413
who?@@m413m94
i agree
Taker has old man memory on the timing of the Austin 3:16 promo 😂.
Undertaker would love to hear the secrets and story’s behind your buried alive match at 2003 survivor series how did it all work so safely etc
More videos like this or your Mount Rushmore’s or whatever… really love hearing Mark’s perspective on wrestling and the world. I’m a new wrestling fan but I’m am so impressed with what a pro Mark is and his authenticity.
Mark, do you have any more stories about your experiences with the Von Erichs?
in 2024 undertaker is making youtube thumbnail pictures never thought i’d see that what a legend
He was giving hints
Undertaker, thank you for the sweet memories
Love It SixFeetUnderwithMarkCalaway Bro.
Miss you in the ring Deadman. Love your new career on YT
TAKER IS THE GOAT
Rock turned that shirt in the thumbnail into a vest 😂
From a feathered wearing rookie with a bad haircut to becoming the biggest name ever since Hulk Hogan in terms of being a household name, when it's all said and done, The Rock could very well be the most important figure in the history of media. It is still mindblowing to me that The Undertaker and The Rock never faced in a match at Wrestlemania, i have no doubt that if Rock never left for Hollywood and continued in WWE, we probably would have eventually seen it. What a time to be alive right now, Undertaker is now on UA-cam with his own channel posting weekly content and The Rock is a member of the TKO board who is essentially the boss of the company. I think it's amazing and something that i would never have envisioned from those two, bring it on!
I don’t get why people are hating on how Taker makes his thumbnails
The man’s played a super straight, serious character for 30+ years let him have fun😂
Taker you deserve all the good things in the world. Tata Taker 🤘🏼
The Rock called himself “The Final Boss”, you were the real final boss! 😂
Glad y’all changed the thumbnail, don’t try and be Maven! Lol
This is frickin great!
The world is over because undertaker makes goofy thumbnails now lol
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I'm curious to see what version of heel Rock we're going to see. Is it going to be the one that ran away from Goldberg and Hogan or is he going to be vicious and beat the hell out folks like he did with Mick Foley?
Awesome! Interview UNDERTAKER mm
Taker my fave wrestler of all time Deadman was and still the face of
WWE in my humble opinion💪🏾
Was that foreshadowing ☠️☠️☠️
Thanks for changing the thumbnail
The Rock and Austin should be role models for wrestlers success in wrestling.
Taker really mastered the thumbnail's meta
thumbnail is the last thing id ever thought i would see from him
Been a wwf fan since 1982, I'm 49 and the 2 greatest people we ever got, were and always will be, undertaker and stone cold. Still remember watching, when the taker charater debuted, and i was hooked on that charater, then when stone cold, got rid of that god awful, ring master shit, and that king of the ring promo, when Austin 3:16 was born, 2 of THE most legendary and most important moments in wrestling history, but hey that's just my opinion, and i can still remember goin to Lowell auditorium, was there when shawn lost his smile, the rock won the intercontinental belt for the first time, the DX xmas party was there, taker and kane did a match there, shit i can't remember which one it was though, but a lot of important thing's in wwf history was made there.
They changed the thumbnail for all you whiners.
Taker the 🐐 seven days a week, twice on Sunday.
The Undertaker doing a "youtube thumbnail face" is so strange haha.
Who here believes Mark knew nothing about Vince's habits? 😂
I'd reckon Taker knows about Vince being a woman chaser, but not as a stool dropper. 😂
Rock always had beef with hunter that rivalry was legendary
Every former wrestler interview channel on UA-cam: Holy Shit Vince McMahon!
Taker: *crickets*
After the decades in character it must feel great to get to just be himself. What's funny is that his character would have made one guess that he doesn't have much of a personality. It couldn't be further from the truth.
My inspiration for hard work and consistency
Good call on the thumbnail change lol
Haha they changed the thumbnail
Wish they talked about the peoples elbow. As per Rocky, he did that for the first time in a tag match to try and get taker to laugh and break character.
♥️♥️ legend
