Sad to see the old D6 going down the road ,I have a bulldozer and backhoe on my farm and I would be lost without them .I hope the new owners at Big Spruce farm will be making videos of their new purchase !! I enjoy watching farm related videos !!
Jerry, thanks so much for leaving a comment. YES - George and Christine have quite a backlog of videos, and many more to come featuring my bulldozer. I'm now in the market for a loader/backhoe for one of the next phases of the project. I looked at 4 this past weekend. The problem is they're either super expensive and nice, or super cheap and junky - I can't seem to find any in that middle range where I'm not breaking the bank, yet they are decent quality. My search continues. Stay tuned - I think you'll like some of the videos I have planned for the winter season!
@@bigsprucefarm do you have any videos about the D6 that you bought from buying the farm? If you do do you think you can put them up? If you can it be appreciated thank you!
@@rudycarlson8245 We do and will. Stay tuned over at @bigsprucefarm because there will be lots of work happening featuring the D6-9U this year as the weather improves!
Mike, thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. Yeah, I can't really complain when compared to SD I guess. Hahaha. OK - I've noted your input. I think you'll enjoy some of the videos I have in store over the coming months. Stay tuned!
So you're going to go snowshoeing with t-shirt, shorts and flip-flops? LOL great video. Glad to hear you were able to accomplish what you set out to do. How about ice skating with t-shirt, shorts, and flip-flops? 🤣🤪🤣
Hahahahaha Lonnie your messages always make me chuckle. Listen, if I do ANYTHiNG over the next few months at the farm in shorts and a tshirt, it will DEFINiTELY be caught on camera… that’s for sure!!!!!!
@@BuyingTheFarm back in my former life in the semi, I ran a good bit of new York state. Learned real quick to avoid the new York cute at all cost. What time I was in the state I'd end up running the back roads due to the customer base we had. Ran into the Walton area a good bit amongst a few other areas. Honestly I found that the state wasn't all that bad. But I did learn that I'd never want to live there.
Eh, like most things Lonnie, it is what you make of it. I travel a TON for work... so I get to see lots of places. I find its always nice to come home. I've seen a lot of nicer places, but I like a simple life and I'm content. :-)
@@BuyingTheFarm I'd really like to try Idaho or even the northeast corner of Utah. Having said that, I did grow up in eastern Indiana. Huge farming area, grandparents had 140 acres that they owned for 50ish yrs.
I fly over that whole area frequently, and I'm always amazed at the flat expanses of farm land, and the enormous circular crops side-by-side-by-side that stretch dozens of miles. It boggles my mind how huge it looks at 30,000 feet, and how much area it must all cover on the ground!
Well, that's the goal, Wally.... but the farm stuff will likely slow down over the winter. Not much there that I can (or care to) do with feet of snow and sub-zero temperatures, no electricity or lights, etc. I'll try to keep the focus on the farm stuff as much as weather (and my cold tolerance) allows! Hahaha.
Par.... GREAT suggestion. Yes, I will do a couple videos inside the buildings. There's a ton of garbage in the buildings - maybe a buddy and I will take some time and go through the stuff on camera to see what's there. Stay tuned!
Thanks for the shout Dave! We will take good care of the dozer and put her to work for sure.
You’re the best, George!!! Can’t wait to see your videos and what you accomplish with it!! Keep in touch. :-)

No on seasonal arts and crafts, as long as the channel focus is on the farm type stuff I'll watch.

Keep on enjoying your hobby property , thats enough for me😉maybe a video inside the buildings is possible.
