- In this video I share a delicious Red Velvet cake that I made and decorated for my brother's 40th birthday! This tutorial includes decorating the cake in a blended buttercream camouflage design, with a Browning deer head and shotgun shells to accent.
Red Velvet cake recipe....
1.5 cups vegetable/canola oil
1 cup buttermilk
2 eggs
1 tbsp vinegar
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup sugar
1.5 tbsp cocoa powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
2.5 cups AP flour
1 tsp red gel food color
Combine wet ingredients together, then slowly add sugar. Combine dry ingredients together, then add to wet ingredients. Add red food color. Bake at 350F for 25-30 minutes.
Makes two 8" round layers, or three 6" round layers. - Навчання та стиль

Where did you find the mold for the deer head?
I actually printed the logo and used the print out to trace and cut the fondant.
