Derivative and banal. Why do so many Italian jazz saxophonists insist on playing a million notes? Sorry, but American jazz saxophonists do this a thousand times better and they actually LISTEN, which is something Stefano doesn't do once or possibly even know how to do, period. I love jazz. My parents were both musicians. My brother is a famous jazz saxophonist. But it annoys me unbearably to hear a revered art form being manhandled by a musician who clearly loves himself within the art but not the art within itself. Maybe if Stefano had an original concept or didn't try to sound like Kenny Garrett I would enjoy this more. As is, his playing leaves me cold.
Well, we will let Stefano know that according to the Sister of a Famous Amerrrikan Saxophonist he must play fewer notes. And how many notes do you think he should play? four for compass will be fine, right? On the other hand, America is very big, almost as much as your ego: Argentina, Brazil, Cuba, Mexico, Venezuela, Canada, etc, etc what American jazz saxophonists are you referring to?
Oh, dear. Did I upset the giant man-baby with my pert opinions? Was it that I dared to cast aspersions on your crush or that I, as a woman, expressed any opinion at all? Sorry, Miguel, but in the real world we all tend to see things a little differently. And from the looks of it, your laughable ego was the one in uproar, not mine. I merely pointed out what was obvious to anyone who knows what real jazz sounds like ... and that, my friend, is not you.
americans do this thousand times better? I think Stefano is one of the best in this style. I can understand why you cant enjoy this kind of music. But i really love this for its phrasing and boucing. And he really does not sound like Kenny Garrett.... But of course he is influenced by him and Charlie Parker and .... like nearly every saxophone player.

Whatever you say, Mrs. Jazz

you have to say, rather, that you like another musical genre more and I don't think that great saxophonist of your brother doesn't appreciate stefano
