One of the great jazz legends has passed on.....RIP McCoy!
The bass player is so fantastic! Not only his absolutely incredible solo in African Village but his complete job throughout the performance.
Extremely advanced musicianship here. Thankyou McCoy Tyner for capturing the best of African American modern music.
The last time I saw either of the two giants was together that year, at Regattabar in Cambridge, MA. McCoy was wearing a striking mustard colored suit when we bumped into him between sets. They're great friends always.
saw hi;m in San Franciso, and Santa Cruz CA, special live of course, Sahara record of year I think, Sonny Fortune and all
Outstanding playing from all these geniuses, Mcoy Tyner especially and booby Hutchenson
Charnett Moffett made me cry.
Maravilha!
Con Stefano di Battista ancora più Grandi
When You Tube says Jazz, I listen!
Lamentamos la partida física de el gran Mc Coy Tyner RIP

Music Magic McCoy. Thank You.
All absolutely fabulous musicians! Charnett Moffett's solo on African Village is just astounding.
As expected, both McCoy Tyner and Bobby Hutcherson are just great.
Stefano di Battista is a great find : somewhat like a reincarnation of Trane.
And, Charnett Moffett … I came to know him via Stanley Jordan in the mid 80’s, and have been a huge fan of them both.
Wow. Mind blowing performances
Could I give this video more than one thumbs up?
McCoy and Bobby were on FIRE back in their prime!
That solo by Bobby H. on African Village is AMAZING!
Yes, you can! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Berry awesome… he certainly knows his craft!
Go Bobby! He's amazing!

Great concert!
Is there anybody who can upload McCoy Tyner + Bobby Hutcherson Bern May 1995. I recorded this but my DVD is no longer working.
Greetings
nobody, no other gender , race, country, or age will ever play anything better, , one of the few modern things equal to classical
Naima...
Un super contrebassiste
IT IS ALL OK ON THIS SIDE, I HAVE PLENTY VYNILS AND CDS FROM EL MAESTRO....NO SWEAT.......
The late, great Bobby Hutcherson is clearly having difficulty breathing here, and nevertheless plays up a storm.
He's always played that way.
