Monster Bull Shark from the Deep

- We headed out to catch some amberjacks and just have some fun. Every amberjack that we hooked was eaten by a big shark. Josh became very frustrated and dropped a bait to catch the shark. After a short period, Josh hooked a giant shark. It was a very strange fight. After a 20 minute fight, a monster bull shark surfaced! This is the largest bull shark that Josh has ever caught, a personal best record! The estimated weight was around 600lbs! The shark was released.

I love this! Watching you in your element is amazing! Thanks for the video Josh! I’m hooked and have been on a binge watching mission. You amaze me!!
everyone loves bull shark stories these days, but that was the biggest bull shark I've heard about
That was a massive beast Joshua! Good job!
Awesome, thanks for posting.
Epic. Very entertaining channel. How does this have only 5200 views? Sharing to everybody I know. Keep up the awesome videos man.
Now it has 1 million views🤷🏻♂️
Funny how popular he grew
Most excellent as always! Congrats on your biggest bull! Tails up!!
Great video... Bull sharks are considered quite a dangerous species of shark. That one is enormous, well done.
That was one massive bull shark! I'm new to shark fishing and I just picked up an airwave trophy series, 6'6" 30-80lb line/ 1-8oz lure, rod and an Avet MXL reel from tackle direct that i love. Is this combo suitable for targeting medium sized black tips from the beach or do you think I would need a longer/more powerful rod? Thanks! love your videos!
618 Fishing That should work. Spool your reel with 50lb Bullbuster braid. A longer rod will help you cast further. If you have a kayak or if you are using live bait, you won't need it.
***** Thanks for the reply man. I am planing on catching ladyfish for bait and using a kayak to take it out past the second sand bar. Do you kayak your baits out after it gets dark or do you switch to a longer rod and cast from shore?
I kayak my baits at night. Make sure you have a bright enough headlamp so boats can see you.
618 Fishing how much is 80 pound line cast?
@@618Fishing hey nick
Congrats josh!, what a catch, hopefully ill catch a monster bull shark also!
Huge fish! Awesome video man
That was awesome man. I gotta come down there and even just catch some jacks let alone a massive shark.
Excellent video guys
great handling skills with the unhook and release. Fantastic ctach.
Unhook and release? Didn't they just cut the line?
Well done for releasing it
Josh you guys at BlackTipH are the best fishermen I know great job guys maybe one day I can out with you
Great catch !
Thank you for releasing.
wow! nice work! that's some serious shark fishing there. I've heard they will act strangely when hooked, sometimes stopping here and there like they don't want to be bothered with the fight. A 200+ pounder was hooked by rod and reel in Chesapeake Bay many years ago and supposedly took all night to land it because they weren't expecting it . Nothing like those monster bulls down in Florida though !!
Way to let him go quickly. No need to kill just to kill!
Ok boomer
Caught me an 11 inch large mouth bass with a 9 foot bamboo rod and a hula popper, in the treacherous waters of my grand dads pond back in 87!
Dang dude! That was awesome!
awesome! nice job gentlemen!
Awesome content!
GREAT JOB GITTING THE BULL SHARK!!!!! OMG I LOVE SHARKS 😍😍😘😘😘👏👏👏👏
very impressive. that had to be super scarey!
"Most people would have left but I'm there," what a big headed Muppet
Good work boys.
Did it only take 20 minutes on catch or just until you saw it? It seems like 20 minutes is fast to catch a 600 lb shark.
OMG!!!THE BIG FISH WOW
VERY GOOD
Lol the Sharks tail hit the camera XD
MY EYES WERE MASIVE WHEN SEEING THE BULLSHARK OH NICE JOB
Sharks are great animals! And they let him go by the way!

OMG unbelievable but nice job

good job big fish I go fishing too. 💯👍
Phew they released the bull shark
Sharks r friends,not food
if i do get the opportunity to go florida i wanna take on some deep sea fishing of my own, let's just hope i don't hook a bull shark or it's gonna be much more than i bargained for! if i could get one fish in florida it would have to be a Tarpon, only time will tell.. still good catch man! it's definatley a catch to be remembered
nice one josh
I got one around that size off a wreck in boynton beach. Could not believe how big it was. maybe not quite that big but in the area of 500+lbs. Meanest thing I've ever stuck a hook in.
Catch and release good job
Josh do you think that this bull shark was the unknown giant that you lost or was it still too small and weak to be the giant?
How many pounds of drag did you use when fighting the shark? Kind of surprised it took just 20 minutes to surface the beast.
I have that same shirt 😱
Hello black fishing I like you guys when you catch those who sharks in that group or two I want to ask if you have one if one part of Florida are You in
DAMN!
very cool! What part of florida ?
that is awesome!!!!!!
great video
Wow I've seen bull sharks ,but that one is huge..
HUGE! Scary beast!
friend very goood!!!!!!!!!
Impressive!!
I am a fishing noob so this may be a dumb question....Do people usually use sinkers when they are fishing for sharks off shore? If so, what kind would you recommend?
most people use cinder blocks or heavy leads. I use at least 32oz
Monster bull indeed!
Nice shark!also what bait did u use?
That fish could easily eat one of
my PB fish which was a 25lb lemon shark
When you guys use the bolt cutters, do you leave part of the hook in the fish's mouth? Or do you just use the cutters to grab the hook and pry it out? I'm not like a crazy nature lover or anything... I'm just curious as to how you guys do it. Thanks, and I really enjoy your videos!
Most shark fishermen use hooks that will rust out (non stainless steel) and clip them. This is usually safer for the fish and the angler.
the hook will rust out when they cut it
Ian Bardes yes
+Jake Shattuck...... Ian Bardes was asking a simple question out of curiousity, and you've just made yourself look very stupid.
Jake Shattuck - grow up, kid.
Good job
that look like a great white bro how did the pole not snap
Jace gaming if u look at the side near the end when they're putting him back, you can tell its a bull. I could see why you thought white. Bulls dont usually get that big. That's a rare find, nvm catch.
first of all, when it surfaces, you can clearly see the bull snout, so big it looks like a Tiger at first. Great Whites have more pointed narrow snouts. Secondly, the pole didn't snap and line didn't break because the guy fishing knew what he was doing.
They trained a huge bull shark to take food from people. Then they caught and released it. "You're free now, shark. Swim to the beach and eat some children."
Why do you use such long rods instead of a short rod with a belt and harness?
Nice! Look up Bull shark and Breede river for whopper of a bull shark.
That's a real tackle tester
Glad you guys let him go.
I've never fished before but I feel like if I was doing this the shark would just drag me in the water and I would be shark bait lol.
Same. I fish but I have never fished in the ocean. plus I'm 14 so I'd be pulled in for sure
some time try to fish
Wath bait you huse for big bull ?
Bonito
Why didn`t you kill it? You know that Bull sharks are very dangerous to humans, and probably the aggressive shark? People can say whatever the hell they want, but i would like to get rid of dangerous sharks and box jellyfish, so that people can enjoy the ocean without any fear!
Hey man this is what the hell im talkin about lol. That thing is my dream catch. Do u ever see any great whites?
When I was twelve years old, my father got me this boat and I went fishing off of Cape Cod. And I hooked a scup. And as I was reeling it in, I hooked a four and a half-foot baby thresher shark who proceeded to eat my boat. Ha, ha. He ate my oar, hooks, and uh, my seat cushions, he turned an inboard into an outboard. Scared me to death. And I swam back to shore. And when I was on the beach, I turned around and I actually saw my boat being taken apart! Ever since then I have been studying these terrific animals.
Yawn Mr Hooper yawn!
I'm to a shark fishing angler and had a huge mako eat my 100+lbs tuna in one bite, so I fished for him for hours and the shark never came back for seconds. Nice shark guys good job.
What kind of reel should I get for shark fishing
what size sharks are you planning on catching
Where in FL is this
what knot do you usually tie your hooks?
as in big hooks
hate to run into this thing when i am out on my board
Can you do a flyfishing video after bulshark?
that beast was way more than 600lbs
What kind of pole was used to catch the shark?
+Frederick Johnson Custom built
ppspps
Frederick Johnson ugly sticks 😂😂
et pour l'amecon ?
It actually doesnt not hurt that much to get hooked. My friend hooked my upper cheak right under my eye when he did a side cast and it was a three pronged hook so it embedded mutiple times. i was lucky he didnt get my eye, it initially hurt, but didnt feel that much pain taking it out.
Much big very shark wow
Did you guys release the shark
I mean that’s pretty cool but have you ever caught a 2 pound bass 😎
Damn. Big fish. 10-12 feet?
Big fish!
Dang that's w huge bull shark
I don't fish much in Florida and I've been wanting to land a big shark what are some suggestions like were you caught this one
+Kaid Tellepsen Find wrecks that hold a lot of bait and fish for the sharks to feed on.
Same I fish not much but to catch like this shark
Wow did it eat a great white?
Do you do your own video editing?
delicious fishes Yes
What bait you use?amberjack
Lollita Mangalie We used a bonito.
Would you recommend a tsunami airwave 12 foot with a fin nor 100 for shark fishing? I feel the rod is a little light even tho the rating is 20-40lbs 4-6 oz?
Ted Rudzinski The airwave is too light, I would recommend the Trophy Surf. Use our promo code (BlacktipH30) at www.tackledirect.com/ and save $30 on your purchase.
Have you guys been catching any sharks in the river and off the beach in stuart. Iv got my rigs all set up and ready to go but wanna know if the sharks are still around
Ted Rudzinski No, we haven't.
Iv pulled up three bulls out of fort Pierce in the last 3 days. Been waiting about 5 hours for each bite tho
i just realized you love using circle hooks..
that thing's the size of a fully grown white shark. awesome catch josh!
Oh hey it's you again bubbles
nicholas skoal Nah, that bullshark ain't got nothing a 21ft, 2000lb great white.
Marcus Young they average about 15 feet. 20 ft+ are considered to be quite large
Depends on where you are. Florida, probably but the rest of the world is common for adults to be 18ft+, with some of the largest being close to 25ft. Plus 15ft is the average of a male. Females get a lot bigger than that. Plus full grown great whites are 1500lbs+
Marcus Young they're in florida. i don't need a shark lesson
