Skoolie; How I installed mini-split A/C air conditioner in a bus...tips & tricks....long version

What is the advantage of loosening before torquing the nuts to the end? I have seen this advice from time to time, but nobody explains why.

What's your power source? Straight to battery?

Can be powered both by inverter running off 12v lifepo batteries or shore power when parked.

You make a valid point. I say “torque to recommended settings” while blindly guessing how tight to make them.

This one is 12k btu, with a Toshiba inverter compressor.
These are what I consider the important things to look for when purchasing. The rest of the parts are what I call chinesium and it’s likely that all these units come from the same couple factories regardless of brand name.
