  • laneyards.com/ - A great lanyard (scoubidou, boondoggle) for beginners. It is normal for your lanyard to curve.
    You will need:
2 pieces of craft lace - equal length.
1' of craft lace will equal about 3'' of lanyard.
Not sure where to find gimp and lanyard materials? Check out my supply list: www.wheretogetg...

Wow. You must have A LOT of patience for this!! I remembered when me and my Mom 1st got gimp and she learned how to start it and do the square stitch in like 2 days, and I always use to get so mad because when I tried, it would come out crappy, but now, I'm so great at it, because you taought me how to start it, lol. I actually find it relaxing and calming, and sorta' fun, lol.

Starting: When you wrap the "orange" around the loop go behind then in front then behind again. Once you are behind make the loop with the "orange" making sure it is flat and even before you insert it and tighten the "green" strand. To tighten the slack or loose part pull on the side that does not want to pull the string through on your loop. Thanks for the video It helped me a lot. =D

I've been doing lanyards since I was 9 years old I'm 30 and watch your channel and learn new knots and tricks and different styles and even taught my husband new stuff too your Channel rocks!!!! Thanks so much for teaching us your cool stuff

I don't see what you all are confused about. This was easy to understand. When his says tighten the slack it basically means pull the loop so that everything is tight before you start the next loop. With any of these types of boondoggles you have to constantly pull them tight to make them look good. I thought it was a good video and I could understand it. Reminds me of when we used to make them as kids. Thanks for the video!

This maybe one of the most complicated laneyard stitches to do but when you get the hang of it, its fairly easy. The video is not hard to follow. I used his other videos to do the other stitches and it took me less than 5 minutes to learn how to do it. Its just a matter of practice and a bit of concentration. No worries. For this stitch, starting it off is the frustrating and complicating part of it. Like if you agree please.

The first two stitches were a little challenging, but once you get the hang of it, it's pretty easy. Also, it helped when I put the knot down and did the stitches upward. I tried the instructions from the boondoggle man and couldn't get it. This video helped me and and your videos are really well-done. Thank you! I would love to see you make a video for a rainbow wall stitch keychain. And I like doing the keychains without the dangling strands, just a clean start and finish, which means I have to use superglue. Any other suggestions?
