Switching from an X to SE2/SE3 would be a huge downgrade in the display department. The battery life on the SE2 isn't very long; I have one as my backup phone, and I can't make it through the day on one charge. Additionally, since the X may not receive iOS 17, I would considering switching to an iPhone XS or 11 Pro, or waiting for the release of the SE4
honestly i think u should buy an iphone 11 its better than the XS and will likely have IOS 18 and its also cheaper than the 11pro, if u need some other infos feel free to reply, have a great day all!
