Saving Krogan Scouts on Archon's Ship

Instead of Pathfinder Raeka. :(
This is seriously the worst decision of the entire game for me. I want to keep Raeka alive. I do. She's wonderful and the last of the original Pathfinders. She has dialog about Alec Ryder because she knew him pretty well, and that's rare in this game.
But.
Drack is my favorite. And the quest 'Clutch Moment' requires that the krogan scouts be saved. So in the end, it's just this:
krogan lives are greater than salarian lives
Because salarians only live to their late 40s and krogan can live to be like 1,500.
