    Today, I'm going to share with you a very unique recipe from Jiangsu province in China. This chewy and sweet dessert called Ou Fen Yuan, or Lotus Starch Balls, requires a special technique to make, which although repetitive and difficult, is ultimately fun and rewarding.     Here is the ingredients list for 15 - 20 Lotus Starch Balls:
    - 80g black sesame seeds
    - 45g white sugar
    - 30g lard
    - 10g osmanthus syrup
    - A few pinches of dried osmanthus flower
    - 2 cups of lotus root starch
