Thank you for doing another video. I'm highly skeptical of people doing training videos these days, because there's a lot of frauds in poker education. But you've won me over as one of the few competent people in this realm, and I don't say that lightly at all.
And frankly, this is because there's not much time to make videos when you're just playing and winning, and if you are a crusher you really are disincentivized on making videos that your day to day opponents can learn from. If you just wail on 25/50, it's -ev to spend endless time grinding your mailing list. shoutout to Jonathan little. :D

Okay but even if smaller bluffs result in better ROI on our bluffs (bigger disparity from how often someone folds to the amount of alpha you need to be profitable with any two cards) can't you have a situation where a bigger bluff still results in more EV? Right so if a .34 pot size bet results in 42% folds you have an ROI on your bluff of 65.5% and an EV of .223 pots. If a .9 pot size bet results in 60% folds you have an ROI of 26.7% but an EV of .24 pots. Also amazing content!
That foldings are over all the sample or just when you are bluffing? I know the Alpha is not met in general. But, if you have a hand that is betting for value, it is less likely your opponent have the hand that calls. Coversely, if you have the bluff, it is more likely your opponent have a hand that calls. With that in mind, if the fold in the overall sample is X%, when you are bluffing it is less than X%. How much less? I think this is important because on the river you need the fold equity when you are bluffing, not overall.
Sklanksy’s nl book from long ago made this point, that people will bluff big (to try to get people to fold) and bet for value small (when they’re afraid they won’t get called) when they should be doing the reverse. Very interesting to see that concept presented from a different angle.

Bluffing against busted draws is an interesting predicament, particularly against busted straight draws, since often times your holding may actually beat those hands on the river anyway.
This is JB, right? Yeah I think that question becomes interesting when you have busted ats and you may oesd and can check back BUT villain still finds enough folds with bottom pair to make it good.

Because in that case your opponents will always be loosing if you win, they are loosing exactly the money they give to you + the rake. Even if you are loosing your opponents will also be loosing, you need to be huge whale to compensate the rake in the table and make your opponents winning players.

I just realized how much better I am at $25 zone after watching this video. I wasn't confident or informed enough at all for $25 zone until this analysis. I'm still technically not ready, I'm sure, especially with my bankroll, but I haven't been getting my ass rolled and I find myself to be confident in my reads and aggression and generally making progress. It's been a great experience and challenge to stretch a bit in these pools. Thanks Alvin.

Look at it % wise. If you need 25% folds and get 30% folds, your ROI is higher than getting 60% folds when you need 55%

Probably means that you're putting in value hands too thinly against people who are folding too much.

Since it's anonymous ignition all my opponents are called "big blind" or "cutoff" and everyone gets lumped together

That's probably true. :) but also it records hands in not playing, and the postflop tendencies I exploit are true regardless.
What format do you play on ignition Zone or regular tables?
