Great video, is your course good for current 200Zone grinder (3bb/100 over last 200k) hands or more advanced study(course, private coaching) is needed?
Oh yeah it's going to help a lot. It's not just a course but also a small forum full of mid and high stakes grinders, that this point maybe ten or fifteen guys plays $5/10 or higher online
Just found your channel a half hour ago. Your work is excellent, so I subscribed to your channel. I do have one question. Forgive me if you covered it somewhere and I missed it. You often use the term 'simplify'. There are articles online that talk about simplifying one's strategy. Do you have a more specific set of ideas in mind than what's in those articles when you talk about simplifying?
just wanted to add a comment that wasnt touched on. In my experience working with pio, it much prefers an even smaller flop bet on these mono textures to roughly 1/4 size of pot then allowing you to be even more of your range. Was just wondering if this is minor detail as to why it wasnt addressed?
Hey Alvin from what I have looked at monotone flops seem to be some of the worst for the OOP 3bettor. Do you think it is reasonable to check range on all monotone flops or do you think certain ones we still benefit from betting? Hope to see more content soon!
Well this is a monotone flop and we still should bet majority of our range, so I think we can't simplify in either direction. Some middling monotone flops are going to be really bad to cbet in this formation for sure.
Not all monotone flops should be checked 100% as an OOP player. However, in this scenario i think KJ's should be but have to mix this checking range with a 'nutted checking range' for balance and unpredictability
Check/calling is probably a torch here with Kx vs real players. No one is getting to the river with those combos of 55-33 to bluff jam. 87hh is more natural than these types of hands, but as you said, some of the pool doesn't show up to the river here with that, either. It's hard to find bluffs on these mono boards in relatively tight formations like MP vs SB 3bp. MP just doesn't have enough offsuit combos pre and won't adjust like a solver will.
@@supertcg123 dude on z200 u have goose.core, mynameiskarl, gazzyB, jimmyduraide.... when the z500 is empty they all play z200... go grind and lets see how you do. Zone poker...LOL
@@turnpropoker Those players are all very good but I wouldn't say that their main game is 200z. Especially not goosecore. It obviously depends on lineup but all players who play 2knl would 200z but definitely not all 200z players would play 2knl.
one of my students plays versus goose at 5/10 on gg, I assumed he plays whatever he wants. I play both $2k and $200zone in the same week for sure, it just depends on what's running and who's playing when I want to grind.
Alvin this is a serious question. Are you a Satanist? Just some symbols I noticed and symbols are holographic expressions of words and words are holographic expressions of symbols.
@@AlvinTeachesPoker I appreciate your cleverness and wisdom. You sure have made me think about poker in a different way. Thank you for opening my mind to new concepts.
00:01 OMFG this might as well be me and might as well be my graph.
11:34 Ohhhhh.
This is an excellent companion to your last video. Excellent work.
Great content man! Would love to see more of this.
Thanks for your time putting this all together.
Love your videos and the way you approach the game. Thanks for the amazing content! Cant wait to see your next video!
I appreciate that!
Very great video to help me visualize my bets vs checks. Thank you very much.
Very welcome!
I love this analysis thank you Alvin!

I'd watch some of my early videos! Simplification is the new hotness might apply well!

Literally already have a whole video on that, also there are millions of near equil strats with small sizings, it doesn't really matter.
Great video, would love to see more
You got it!
Do you coach ACR Blitz50NL and 200NL - those are not anonymous(HUDS work) fast fold and heavy on Russian regs?
Yes. Those games are softer than people think

Good job man thanks pls more of that
I usually trap some AA/AK on the river in the first hand but that seems to be a mistake
Interesting video, thanks
Very profound 👍🏻👍🏻
Glad you think so!
u mixed up @ 25:16 u wanted to say a bigger checkin range
Thx alvin!
Can you do a book review on mastering poker
Never heard of it.
@@AlvinTeachesPoker from zenith poker
Pfffft not paying money to review a book from a low stakes player
Clearly you don't need a review so why complain

No, against real players it's not a torch. I get bluffed here by weird hands.
Oh noes negative red line
Dude... z200 is tougher than zone nl2k LOL
lol no its not

Red line and blue line don’t matter at all. Money won/winrate is way more relevant.
Only if you're already crushing. If you're not and losing in either, you've got things to work on.
he basically turned kjs into a bluff in that hand
Exactly! Why waste the value!
