Omg THANK YOU for this video. Everyone is going on about crystallisation on insta but no one will say what it is. The pinching thing, instead of fingers there’s those glue cups with grooves on the edge to help slim the base... could work?
GalaxyDreaming I agree it’s something to consider. If you’re sensitive I would suggest putting a layer of micropore tape on each finger as a barrier (cotton free of course)
Thank you so much for explaining about this. Do you think crystallized lashes need some kind of special technique or different care to have the same retention as freshly made fans? I tried with these before on 4~5 clients and it wouldn't last more than 3 weeks on them. The crystallized fans would just fall off. Do you have any ideas or tips on what I'm doing wrong and how to correct it?
If the crystallized fans are falling off, I think you need to take a look at your bases and make sure they are super pointy (so they look similar to a classic lash) and place to the side of the natural lash.
What do you think about getting the glue off of your fingers? Could you use those latex finger gloves or do you think the glue would react with it. I’m doing this method for premaking and I get a lot more glue on my fingers then you do and it’s a pain to get off. Also how do you manage to pick up those fans from the jar perfectly?
emma if you’re getting a lot of glue on your fingers you may be using too much glue. You could try a piece of tape on your finger (nexcare blue tape works good). When I’m picking up the lashes to apply on a client I dump them out on a clean white tissue and make sure to only grab the tips of the fans ❤️
Hello! As long as they are stored properly (I use craft containers), they can be stored for up to a year, after that I find the glue bonds start breaking down.
How do you get your fans to stay open when you release them from the tweezers? My fans fall down on to it's side right when I release it. If I set it down on the pointed base, it will glue to whatever surface I place it on and won't come off in one piece anymore.
Ben D the main difference is the weight. You can control exactly how much adhesive is on the base. The other thing is you can make sure your bases are perfectly pointed to ensure a good bond on the natural lash just like a classic lash. Not to mention cost! Pre made fans are very expensive!! Let’s be honest we all do lashes to make money right? Why not make our own (which look better anyway) and save tons of$$?
I wonder if after the lash is crystallized, could it be sanitized? Or at very least maybe a lash shampoo solution? I would be curious if anyone has tried?

GalaxyDreaming yes that can work but you won’t have as much control over how the bases sit. It will also take longer to cure.
Luxe Lash Academy ohh ok. What’s the bet little sterilised thumb and finger covers come out next?? 😂 thanks for the reply.
GalaxyDreaming right! 😂
Instead of pinching with finger try using tweezers
Great for just learning as well, beginners or general practice. Better to do this and not waste product!
Anna Behrens agreed!!
Is that double sided tape on your hand....Brilliant and simple idea..Why didn't I think of that?!! what type do you use?
Thanks so much for this video. Everyone is being hush hush about this technique
Right?! So silly :)
What about allergies touching the glue 🤔 not picking just wondering

Luxe Lash Academy and I just read this comment after replying to the last 😆👍🏻 awesome thanks
Try using a pair of tweezers that should do it and it’s more sanitary
Thank you for this video, I have not been able to find any video or info on this technique, this was very helpful....also can o use .03 ?

When I crystallize mine for later use I can never get the fan to wrap or stay on the natural lash and have to resort to my premades
Could I ask how Long can these lashes last? Like how Long can I keep them for?
Hello! As long as they are stored properly (I use craft containers), they can be stored for up to a year, after that I find the glue bonds start breaking down.
So you dip in glue and pinch it together ?
Gabriela Morales essentially yes ❤️
Where did you get the jars that your placing your hand made fans into? Or what are those called?
cle donnell they are craft jars :)

bbychynadoll sounds like your glue is maybe curing too slowly or you’re using too much! If it cures instantly that won’t happen.
How is this different than buying premade fans? Thanks

How many fans do you think per eye have?
Eyes have an average of 100-200 natural lashes each depending on the person can be more or less
What diameters do you do this with? Can it be used with mega volume? 🙂
You can do this with any diameters which are safe for volume applications. .03-.07
Leslie I think we’ve meet before at lyford is this you...!
Indira Russell I don’t believe so, sorry!
I wonder if after the lash is crystallized, could it be sanitized? Or at very least maybe a lash shampoo solution? I would be curious if anyone has tried?
rach h I’m sure you could maybe spray with alcohol or shampoo after placing on the natural lashes.
Hi, missed your videos, you are awesome!! 💕
Thanks love
Where did you buy your tweezers? what brand?
Mady Chambers they are luxelashbylm.com mega volume tweezers ❤️
Is it just glue?
Sokhoeun Tes yes the fans are sealed with lash adhesive.
Thank You!
