  • Today I created a really funky mapping, and to achieve this complicated look I want I need to be able to lash in layers.
    Here's exactly how I achieved this look.

    Did you use same curl on base and spikes? And what diameter did you use for your spikes by any chance?

      Hey there! When I am about to do a handmade volume set, most of the time I will handmade my fans before, and store them in an empty pre-fan case for safe keeping!! This totally saves time, I agree!

    Very useful video ❤ when you don’t lash in layers do you still use shorter lashes at the bottom

    • @LostArtistryLash
      @LostArtistryLash  Рік тому

      It totally depends on the result I’m aiming for. I often feather lengths throughout each layers. That’s kinda my go to. Have you heard of that technique?

    hi gorgeous when lashing in layers for someone just learning this technique is it better to do 1 eye at a time or can you still bounce back n forth ?

    • @LostArtistryLash
      @LostArtistryLash  2 роки тому

      Hello lovely! Just jump right in and try bouncing back and forth, the pads should stay stuck down over the layers but just be mindful and try adjusting them once in. a while.

    Hi pls do you use same lengths for each layers ?

    • @LostArtistryLash
      @LostArtistryLash  9 місяців тому

      Hii we used different lengths for each layer :) 6-9mm across the bottom layer, 5-8 across the middle layer (so the lengths across the bottom meet at the same point at the tips for uniformity) then for our top layer we jumped up 8-12mm for our spikes ❤ I hope this answers your question!

    THANK YOU FOR VIDEO AND INFO. Im a bit confused with the layer technique. Other artists put longer lashes on bottom layer and shorter on top layer. But you did everything opposite. You always use this technique with using longest length on top layer or its individual client to client? in which situations you would use short lengths on top layer and long on bottom? thank you in advance.

    • @LostArtistryLash
      @LostArtistryLash  5 місяців тому +1

      Hey! Aww, thank you so much for your kind words it means so much to hear 💕 This is such a great question. It depends on the kind of look you are wanting to achieve. If you're wanting a textured result, you would want to place your longer lengths on the top layer, and your shorter lengths on the middle and bottom. If you want extreme texture, bump your lengths down by 3-4mm, for soft texture bump down 1-2mm. If you're looking for uniformity, you will want to have your shorter lengths on the top layer (lets say for example its 8-11mm) then for the middle layer you will want to bump up 1mm longer so the extensions meet at the same point at the tips with the top layer. So your map would be 9-12mm. Then for the bottom you will bump up 2mm from the top, so your map would be 10-13mm. Let me know if you have questions on this 💕 We teach about these kinds of lash maps in our Volume Mastery course and our Advanced Texture course! These trainings are super in depth and can be done anywhere in the world ❤ Ill leave the link here so you can check it out

      @@vikagaman7526 great question! All of our tweezers (with the exception of our Ultra Line Tweezers) are totally safe to be submerged in cleaning agent. As a note- please do not leave them submerged longer than the recommended time by the cleaning manufacturer! Between 15-20 minutes is usually perfect. Any longer may strip or cause damage to the coating. This is purely important for aesthetics, but we want to help you keep your tweezers in perfect condition
