Our exhaust systems are made from high quality brushed T304 stainless steel with Tig-welded joints for an exceptional look and durability. Turbo-Back Exhaust gases are channeled from the turbocharger into our larger volume, freer-flowing downpipe where it passes through a 200 cell metallic catalytic converter, releasing a deeper, more aggressive growl. After the downpipe, spent gases are sent through our larger 3.0" non-restricted mandrel bent tubing where sound control then takes place in our perforated and SS wool packed muffler. Our Valved muffler has additional reduction chambers to achieve the most desirable exhaust notes with the largest delta between valve closed and valve open driving experiences. Our Non-Valved muffler is a straight through "turbo style" muffler that was designed to provide a sporty driving experience, like no other.
See maximum gains of up to +11 WHP and +10 FT/Lbs of torque with our Valved muffler design or +11 WHP and +20 FT/Lbs of torque on our Non-Valved version. Tested on our in-house, in-ground Mustang "AWD 500SE" dyno with our Shop ECS MK6 GTI equipped with our ECS Kohlefaser Luft-Technik Intake, ECS 3.0" High Flow Downpipe and APR Stage 2 ECU Software.
I have an ECS downpipe with a stock catback in my mk6 which honestly sounds awesome. I do secretly wish I could be more obnoxious to passers by though.

I was gutted when you guys took your original valves exhaust off the market because I thought it sounded so great. The only issue with it was that it was priced at a point where I had to prioritize other parts first, in addition to paying for general maintenance items on my high mileage Mk6.
This new price point with what sounds like the same or very similar silencer is fantastic and I look forward to having this on my car sooner than later.

Why does the valved make more power than non-valved?
just to incentivize paying more money for the valved system, doubt it makes any more power considering they have identical piping, flow rates and restrictions. 1 year late but i think i'll choose the non valved system considering ill likely always have them open regardless.
i've kept my restrictions due to living in a e-check county.
What other mods r done too this gti besides the exhaust?

ive got 3 inch turbo back non resonated with 1 valved muffler and even with it open its quiet as idk why -.-
