Awesome car dude!! I'm heavily considering purchasing one this 2025! And to add on to what the guy said below about waring it up - these cars actually recommend warming up for 30 seconds, and driving moderately to warm both the transmission, and engine at same time! (Long idling times for these cars if rowned upon to due tight clearances with rod bearings.)
@@amvanquish5555 I would definitely do it, they are the perfect balance between small but still powerful enough to give a super engaging experience. Thank you, that’s really good to know and I will definitely be doing that from now on
Warming up the car for 10-15 minutes is worse for the car than just driving it. Even bmw themselves for decades has recommended giving it no more than 30 seconds and just driving it. It’ll warm up faster just driving it gently as opposed to idling. Nice car though, I just picked up my M2C 6MT a couple weeks ago I’ve been daily driving it in 15-30F temps the last week or two, does your gear lever seem stiff and have trouble returning to center when it’s ice cold?
Thanks for the advice! I got used to letting my old c6z warm up for a while because it was an 07 with a huge ls7 v8 so now it’s just habit. But it’s good to know I don’t have to with this. Yea, my clutch and shifter are always pretty slow and stiff until everything is warm
Beautiful car man! Love how the stock M2 looks and that it is a manual.
Very nice content 🫡

@ yup even as far back as the E36 the owners manual stated to just drive the car to warm it up!
