What's scary about the virus is that there are already younger people that have died from this, even when they didn't seem to have any pre-existing health conditions. There is something about the severity of this disease that is puzzling. If I get COVID-19 you bet I'm going to call an ambulance with trained medical staff to come and get me. I may get some absurd 100,000 bill in but at least I was saved. 99% of people I talk to avoid hospitals and proper medical treatment but at what cost? I'd rather be healthy and in debt than in life-threatening situations but not in debt. Kristin Eill yes so true! I’m just thankful for everyone out there right now that is keeping everything running smoothly. Everyday I wake up I feel like I’m in some odd alternate universe because this whole thing seems like a movie .but I believe things will improve and clear up . Even when lock downs end I believe everyone will need to stay cautious when they go out because as Fauci says until we all have a vaccine there is no “back to normal” which is sad. But also I hope people are all smart or this whole lock down will have to start again.

As a nurse I have so much appreciation just for the fact that she is able to understand and sympathize with the fact that the healthcare workers were also struggling and in distress in such a time of uncertainty and chaos. It’s so true that they were all helping each other out, unlike the norm of US helping and taking care of them 100%. I feel so much for my fellow NYC colleagues.

I am fine now but I wonder if I already got it. Can't tell due to lack of testing, but crazy times we are in for sure. Follow the guidelines all.

Being scared is just getting your situation even worst, your immunity system will go down and you will probably be sacrificed in other to save others who s situation is better than yours.
So don't be scared, i know it s hard but SMILE to save yourself and maybe help the nurses and doctors around you 👍👍🤗🤗

I am so lucky we have an incredible Prime Minister here in New Zealand. As soon as we hit 100 cases, she decided to lockdown our country for 4 weeks (from the 26th March) and she has put in place very strict social distancing rules and we are updated daily on everything, with rules ever changing. I turned 29 last weekend and your story did scare me a lot. I also workout plenty, but am well aware of the potential of getting this. Wish our age group would take it more seriously!

xASK 4MERCY You’re entitled to that opinion.
Logically speaking, most people are staying at home and exposed to their own family or roommates 24/7. Having my own family member get in the car with me and drop me off outside a hospital sounds way safer than everything I will come in contact with on an Uber/Lyft.
