I sometimes just put your videos on as a background as I find them soothing, I know you are saying good things from the ones I've listened to properly and I put them on while I'm washing the dishes or something and let my baby girl listen knowing that your lessons will stick with her somehow, somewhere in her memory and she will grow up knowing she's worth the love of a good man, knowing her standards and boundaries and feeling like a diamond girl. Adrienne, you are such a blessing, so glad I found you! 44 here and dating again after years of well chosen and necessary celibacy. I will share kind of a funny story, maybe other ladies can relate. So, after listening carefully to your videos for several weeks and taking notes, I began really paying attention to my intuition when it comes to online dating, really noticing how my senses react, even to just written messages. This guy says "how are you?" I say something like "oh it is a beautiful autumn day, I can't wait to be outside and feel the warm sun on my skin". He answers "I'm still in bed(side note, it was almost noon), I am so happy and warm under the duvet, pillow is so soft!" I swear I started to laugh so hard I had tears rolling down my cheeks. Guy is 56 I think, and it was like he was using your scripts to trasmit his super glowing feminine energy. It made me all icky inside and it literally made me picture a little dog, wiggling its tail and trying to lick my face. No, not cute and definitely not manly. We chatted for a few more minutes and he kept going in a similar manner "I simply adore pizza and dessert, isn't it lovely to feel all that sugar on your lips?" I said goodbye pretty quickly and was very much amused. His feminine energy was so high it made me itch.

He was like white in rice, so attentive and maintaining contact regularly seeing each other multiple times a week even a weekend getaway. After that I freaked out because it felt like a relationship although he wanted to "go with the flow". We talked, and then I felt like the more I showed him what he meant to me the more he pulled away and then it felt like I was chasing him until I got fed up and told him that I wasn't having a good time anymore. He agreed but now almost 3 months later we haven't really "ended" the relationship although we aren't in communication at all now aside from a few conversations about where and how the relationship went wrong......I was "too intense", always in his face via text and social media. That I didn't give him the chance to pursue and show me that he was into me too although I asked him to schedule days and times to see each other since my schedule was pretty full and he didn't want to saying that he didn't like to plan and I said well then how are we supposed to see each other of we don't set a day aside, " play it by ear "🙄🙄. He says that he hasn't given up on us yet but to give him space to miss me, wonder about me and look for me......well OKAY buddy..... I'll disappear but don't expect me to be available for your back and call. I wait for no man to see if he "picks me" I have plenty of options to chose from unfortunately none have gotten their claws into me like this guy has and my heart longs and aches for him and I HATE THAT. I feel like these methods only work with the more emotionally healthy male. If he's still a man-child, it's best to just let him go. Because I can guarantee, that most men don't put in the time like we do, to learn how to better communicate with women. And yet here we are, spending our valuable time and energy, trying to make it work with them.. 💔

Currently feeling and watching my "boyfriend" of a year shutdown and pull away . We care for each other deeply, but its just like he's checked out and almost list his spark (toward everything, not just me). We broke up from our committed relationship because he wasn’t stepping up. Wouldn’t accept my boundary that we needed a discussion. I walked away. ( He was experiencing some life struggles) He’s made contact 6 months later. We’ll see where it goes.

This is true ethically, but they are not required to love you. Many peoples spouses and parents do not love them. They live a life in sadness and resistance. When you let go of that, you can live your life for YOU and not in the world of disappointment and sadness because someone isn't loving you. This is about boundaries and personal freedom. I would not get lost in this too much, but focus on expectations in love.

My husband stopped talking to me as much, sometimes I feel like he keeps himself purposely busy coming late from work often and doing all sorts of extra studies n so forth, not to have to come home to me. We’re been married for 2 years. He’s filing for divorce. He has said that he doesn’t feel connected anymore. He’s pulling away because he doesn’t trust me anymore even though I have been trying to be a better wife for the past month. But I think it might be a too little, too late.
So we got into a big fight to the point where I moved out. I’ve kept my distance and he is slowly starting to come around. I let him initiate things like texting or when he plans for us to hang out but it still feels like there’s something missing. He’s in the process of buying a home, a home that we were supposed to move into together. He’s saying that’s still going to happen because he can’t see his life without me but I can’t help but overthink. What if he completed changes his mind when he moves into this house. I know he feels a sense of pride in completing this goal but what if that changes his mind and all this hope he’s giving me goes up in the air?
After 6 years he broke up with me yesterday after an argument (one of too many). Says I don't know how to treat a man, I compete with him, I don't listen to him, never take his advice, don't know how to be a girl, we aren't working and he feels like I love him but that I don't like him. He's tired and can't do this anymore. To me, he's a narcissist and as much as we argued, I still love him. Have known him since we were 13. Although it's probably for the best, feels like a death. @adrienne I would love a video or advice on what to do AFTER you and your partner took a break in the relationship and are in the early steps coming back together. I want so badly to rush into things so they can be how they were (in terms of the good times) but I know he is still taking it slowly. I find it so difficult to not be overbearing and your video have definitely helped in keeping my cool but any advice on how to handle getting back together after a break would be so healthful!
I don't wait around when men go out of communication with me. Really just accept his no and tell him you will miss him but you will accept and move on. Don't discuss anything else. Keep your head high in the communication. Don't be short or rude but be to the point and wish him well. Then go focus on yourself and go through your feelings. It can't be stressed enough but heal your heart first.

Eleasah: Forgive my un solicited advice but I just wanted to add that those words you used "feminine" and "submissive" along with others like "consensual" " accountability" and "bring to the table" are huge red flags of men in the manosphere, particularly the black manosphere and red pill communities. These men spout very unhealthy and dangerous rhetoric toward women and should be steered clear of. In my humble opinion, you just dodged a bullet.

My husband of 3 and a half yrs is just not talking to me much at all, it feels like he avoids being at home so he spends his evenings away from home and gets in at the wee hours of the morning. Well my partner and I live together and for a little over a month now, he's been ignoring me, won't touch me, does not speak to me and he is super mean. I gave him space for that time, because I knew he was depressed. After I talked to him about how I feel, that I feel sad when he treats me this way, he broke things off with me. So yeah.

To clarify, how do you know he stopped lying? He never admitted it, I found out by chance then looked deeper and found more lies. Really heartbreaking. He said he won't do that again, but he said he would never do it from the beginning. Really difficult to manage. Adrienne, you are such a blessing, so glad I found you! 44 here and dating again after years of well chosen and necessary celibacy. I will share kind of a funny story, maybe other ladies can relate. So, after listening carefully to your videos for several weeks and taking notes, I began really paying attention to my intuition when it comes to online dating, really noticing how my senses react, even to just written messages. This guy says "how are you?" I say something like "oh it is a beautiful autumn day, I can't wait to be outside and feel the warm sun on my skin". He answers "I'm still in bed(side note, it was almost noon), I am so happy and warm under the duvet, pillow is so soft!" I swear I started to laugh so hard I had tears rolling down my cheeks. Guy is 56 I think, and it was like he was using your scripts to trasmit his super glowing feminine energy. It made me all icky inside and it literally made me picture a little dog, wiggling its tail and trying to lick my face. No, not cute and definitely not manly. We chatted for a few more minutes and he kept going in a similar manner "I simply adore pizza and dessert, isn't it lovely to feel all that sugar on your lips?" I said goodbye pretty quickly and was very much amused. His feminine energy was so high it made me itch.

Adrienne this was so on time. I’m seeing a guy that is in the process of getting his life back on track with a job etc. He was giving me lots of attention and then recently it has slowed down. He was like white in rice, so attentive and maintaining contact regularly seeing each other multiple times a week even a weekend getaway. After that I freaked out because it felt like a relationship although he wanted to "go with the flow". We talked, and then I felt like the more I showed him what he meant to me the more he pulled away and then it felt like I was chasing him until I got fed up and told him that I wasn't having a good time anymore. He agreed but now almost 3 months later we haven't really "ended" the relationship although we aren't in communication at all now aside from a few conversations about where and how the relationship went wrong......I was "too intense", always in his face via text and social media. That I didn't give him the chance to pursue and show me that he was into me too although I asked him to schedule days and times to see each other since my schedule was pretty full and he didn't want to saying that he didn't like to plan and I said well then how are we supposed to see each other of we don't set a day aside, " play it by ear "🙄🙄. He says that he hasn't given up on us yet but to give him space to miss me, wonder about me and look for me......well OKAY buddy..... I'll disappear but don't expect me to be available for your back and call. I wait for no man to see if he "picks me" I have plenty of options to chose from unfortunately none have gotten their claws into me like this guy has and my heart longs and aches for him and I HATE THAT. I just got tired of feeling like I was an after thought to him whenever he wasn't around. So it made me feel used regardless of how wonderful he was when we were together. Felt really narcissistic to me and mind games.

I would disagree, your husband and your parents are supposed to love you (the bare minimum). If they love you a lot that’s a BONUS.
This is true ethically, but they are not required to love you. Many peoples spouses and parents do not love them. They live a life in sadness and resistance. When you let go of that, you can live your life for YOU and not in the world of disappointment and sadness because someone isn't loving you. This is about boundaries and personal freedom. I would not get lost in this too much, but focus on expectations in love.

We’re been married for 2 years. He’s filing for divorce. He has said that he doesn’t feel connected anymore. He’s pulling away because he doesn’t trust me anymore even though I have been trying to be a better wife for the past month. But I think it might be a too little, too late.
So we got into a big fight to the point where I moved out. I’ve kept my distance and he is slowly starting to come around. I let him initiate things like texting or when he plans for us to hang out but it still feels like there’s something missing. He’s in the process of buying a home, a home that we were supposed to move into together. He’s saying that’s still going to happen because he can’t see his life without me but I can’t help but overthink. What if he completed changes his mind when he moves into this house. I know he feels a sense of pride in completing this goal but what if that changes his mind and all this hope he’s giving me goes up in the air?

After 6 years he broke up with me yesterday after an argument (one of too many). Says I don't know how to treat a man, I compete with him, I don't listen to him, never take his advice, don't know how to be a girl, we aren't working and he feels like I love him but that I don't like him. Really just accept his no and tell him you will miss him but you will accept and move on. Don't discuss anything else. Keep your head high in the communication. Don't be short or rude but be to the point and wish him well. Then go focus on yourself and go through your feelings. It can't be stressed enough but heal your heart first.

Eleasah: Forgive my un solicited advice but I just wanted to add that those words you used "feminine" and "submissive" along with others like "consensual" " accountability" and "bring to the table" are huge red flags of men in the manosphere, particularly the black manosphere and red pill communities. Hi!! My guy and I have been dating about a year and in an exclusive relationship for 4 months. He has ex girlfriends he stays in touch with on social media. It triggers my anxiety when I see these women like and comment. He will also friend women who know his friends. He seems to get distant too. I’m having trouble trusting him even though he says to ignore it and he is with ME. Are these only my insecurities to deal with? I have trouble talking to him about this without feeling needy. Well my partner and I live together and for a little over a month now, he's been ignoring me, won't touch me, does not speak to me and he is super mean. I gave him space for that time, because I knew he was depressed. After I talked to him about how I feel, that I feel sad when he treats me this way, he broke things off with me. So yeah.

I love the support for holding our femininity, but I am wondering, do you have any material or suggestions around dealing with men who lie and or lie about cheating? It seems kind to give them another chance, but it is also dangerous. How to know when you are better off without him and maybe how to find an honest man. Help appreciated.
To clarify, how do you know he stopped lying? He never admitted it, I found out by chance then looked deeper and found more lies. Really heartbreaking. He said he won't do that again, but he said he would never do it from the beginning. Really difficult to manage. He treated me like a billion dollars aside from lying and interacting with other women. :(

He's so annoying right now. He pulls away at the time to hook me and come back when I don't want anything to do with him. He didn't walk away or said he doesn't want me.
