Was this video interesting or boring than the others? Which type of videos do you prefer. Videos with stories of people like this or videos more about travel and adventure?
Thanks Saurabh. I was a bit unsure how this video would be received. I'm glad that people seem to like it. You can look forward to more such videos in the future.
I love this. most of the people in this video are my relatives. the kids with whom you and manish played football are my cousins . and I am a big fan of manish , I love his photography.
A beautiful story teller with magical landscape surroundings to provide glimpse of their livelihoods, just love your channel brings so much calm and peace ❤️😀👍
Hey superb video.... i visit the ladakh month ago.... your video just take me back to the ladakh.... it's become a my dream to go in ladakh every year... My request to you is that please share more stories about NORTH-EAST region of INDIA... so that we can explore more and more INDIA... eagerly waiting for your more videos...
+Raj Shah Thank you Raj. Yes, I have definitely plans for going North East but I will do it slowly. Going across the Himalayas from West to East. My main plan for this summer/autumn is to cover Kinnaur. Uttarakhand maybe next year and so on.
I started to watch your videos sir. Accidentally I came across to ur videos. It would have been better if i could see your video way back. Really inspiring sir😊 Lots of love from kerala
Your locations, travel philosophy, stories, narration, photography, music, editing everything is unique, superb. You take me to a world where I will never be on my own. Thank you.
What would be the great gift for an NRI whose heart stays in Himalayas...it's the great joy watching your videos.i am a great fan sir.whatever help I can I will do.. you are amazing at what your doing. truly appreciated.
Good Thought Shruti. Its only last 10 years people started throng in Ladakh after disturbances in Kashmir. But do understand the challenges of winter in Ladakh when temperatures fall as low as -40 to -50 - I have Leh in my weather App and I keep a tab of its weather just like my city and other I visit often.
Couldn't agree more. Nice to see a fresh wave of Documentary making, after Rohan Thakur's "Way back home". Your Documentaries carried an honest, non-commercial, true to travelling spirit tale of these places, which many like us always wanted to see in winters , after having seen in summers. Kudos brother. Keep the good work. Do cover Zanskar sometime to hone your skills even furthers. Sadly our country has not given many Documentary makers , and most talent is lost in Bollywood and other Commercial cinemas, Soap and News.
+Ujjwal John Zanskar has always been on my radar but somehow I've never managed to go there till now. I had plans this year as well but they didn't pan out. Perhaps next year.
Your voice resembles the voice of Another UA-camr toll-free traveller a lot .... Passions of both of u match a lot even ur narrative styles n photography style aswell .... Great effort btw brother .... God bless u
More than the journey, the visual extravaganza and Ladakh this video has the soul to it. It's not only about getting lost in the wilderness but to explore the culture and people as well. Amazing one Saravana Kumar.
+Iways Thank you so much. My best experiences on my travels has always been when I met locals and experienced their way of life. I'm a bit shy to take their photos and videos. But the wedding was a good time for me to overcome that add shoot the videos. You'll definitely see more such videos in the future.
I bet! I would have to give you a standing ovation for exposing us the other part of the country. When the city dwellers in our country complain about the hectic routine they go through, you have shown us how simple life is in the plateau. That's what I hope for in future. For people living in the congested metros and the suburbs (I'm included as well :P), social media is all the world for us. Your efforts will cheer us more! Thank you so very much. I hope you will have a lot more adventures .
+Iways Thanks man. The sad part is that the people living the simple life in these parts want to be more like us and move to the cities. I guess whatever happened to us earlier in the century is happening here as well. No way around it. Modernity marches forward.
Been watching your videos for a while now, and I must say I loved these episodes on 'Ladakh in winters' . Especially the way you narrate the entire journey is so calm and subtle, feels like there is no hurry while you are at it which makes it more relaxing. Beautiful shots show the kind of patience you have shown while capturing them. Also, the story of every episode feels great.
Thanks Bhunesh. 'No hurry' and 'Patient' would describe a lot of things I do. I was a bit worried that my style of narration is not as energetic as many of the other vloggers out there, but I'm glad that it is finding resonance among people like you.
I understand the hesitation of not being able to keep up with the energetic vloggers however your league is different altogether. I feel these trips and spellbounding views are supposed to make you calm which definitely reflects in your voice. So you are actually potraying what these moments to do you i.e. peace
To be able to glimpse into a slice of everyday nomadic life is incredible! The solitude of these journeys looks like the heavens of my dreams...truly beautiful🙏🏽
Thank you Bee. This was a special event, not really representative of their everyday life. My next video might probably cover it in more detail. Do watch out for that ☺
I've recently discovered your channel and I have to say, apart from the sick timelapses I enjoy the story/narrative part of every video. Keep up the good work. 👍🏻
Just really awesome I saw all of your videos . I am from Karnataka I know you stay in Bangalore. Just I wish to meet you once. Please tell me when I can meet you before you shift to Manali.
Now you are talking! Loved to see the missing "Pano" effect towards the end of this video. Do more of such Pano with Dolly/Edits as they put soul in the Time Lapse ...
Thank you Ujjwal. I love the sliding dolly motions as well, but the equipment is quite heavy when I'm hiking, so I leave it behind on some of my trips. I'm saving up to upgrade to a lighter more modular system at the end of the year, and with it perhaps you'll see more such dolly shots.
Thank you Jadhav. Unfortunately I cannot teach you how to make timelapses. But I can tell you how I learnt. Which was to go out and shoot, make mistakes, look up tutorials online and learn from them. Hope you do the same. Cheers.
thanks bro surely will wait for that video...this places you had visited in winters looks totally different when we went there in September. Your videos has inspired me to go to Ladakh in winters but surely I won't camp...haha
Ha ha, yeah staying indoors is definitely a better idea. But always carry a good sleeping bag. You never know when your vehicle would get stuck or break down like the one in this video. My sleeping bag saved me that night. I felt like fainting as well and covered myself with the sleeping bag. Without it I would have been in serious trouble.
Thank you so much. I definitely know what you mean. I'm editing the videos from my home in Chennai and longing to go back to the mountains. I have postponed my trip by over a month so that I can complete all the videos before going back to make some more.
Visited Ladakh this summer...and you inspired me to visit in winter...now the only thing I need to do is find ppl who will be ready to weather the cold....
I m watching ur video continuously. It gives ample infotainment. But for me, there is a million dollar question. When u make a solo travel to these places, who makes d video? Pl tell me.
+saurabh narang Thanks Saurabh. Ofcourse, Chang is beer so it cools your body. They must have been talking about Ara which is almost pure alcohol and it definitely warms your body
In summers, Spiti women drink a mild version of Chang when they work in the fields. They say that it is cool and refreshing when working under the hot sun.
Hi. Thanks for sharing the video. This summer i am going to this region and i wish to experience the tribal culture or even have a short stay with them. How can i do this? Is it possible? Thanks.
Was this video interesting or boring than the others? Which type of videos do you prefer. Videos with stories of people like this or videos more about travel and adventure?
India In Motion i prefer both in a video.. it's interesting equally to last video..
Stories like these are more inspiring for me. At the same time videos of travel are also awesome just to satisfy self with raw nature.
Thank you Shivam. That's good to hear.
Thanks Saurabh. I was a bit unsure how this video would be received. I'm glad that people seem to like it. You can look forward to more such videos in the future.
I would prefer a mixture of both :)
Once again, wonderful job with the video Saravana! Can't wait to see the next one.
This is what I called a real ' content' , beautifully captured magical journey!
Exactly! 😁
I love this. most of the people in this video are my relatives. the kids with whom you and manish played football are my cousins . and I am a big fan of manish , I love his photography.
That's good to hear Skarma. I guess you are Stobgai's partner?
@@indiainmotion stobgias is my uncle. I am a student studying in Delhi.
The shots of frozen Pangong were wonderful. The homely gathering has been captured with all the warmth. Lovely...
beautiful and spellbinding as always.....nice to see some local ladakhi culture captured for all eternity.....stay awsome
+Nicholas Chen Thank you Mr.Chen. Hope to capture more snippets of such cultures in the future.
MIND = BLOWN.
Thank you for capturing the wedding, came back from pangong lake a month ago and this makes me want to go there in this winter again !
What a simplistic hermit like life. Challenging but beautiful
Love your passion!! Thank you for taking us on your amazing journey.
You are welcome Krishna. Stay tuned for more adventures this winter.
A beautiful story teller with magical landscape surroundings to provide glimpse of their livelihoods, just love your channel brings so much calm and peace ❤️😀👍
The meat was soft and Juicy,
and it melted in my mouth like a good piece of Sushi.
Nice rhyming Sir....
Many may see these videos and admire the views, these also give us a view of your warm heart.

Lots of love from kerala
Your timelapses are just magical ♥️ love them always
Seeing your videos i go into flashback about time i spent in Ladakh & Spiti.
*I love this!!* 💛💛💛
Inspiring ! I wonder about the sense of adventure and love for nature that drives you all by yourself. Keep on.
This is so beautiful..your vlogs are like poetry in motion
Your locations, travel philosophy, stories, narration, photography, music, editing everything is unique, superb. You take me to a world where I will never be on my own. Thank you.
You are welcome Supratim
Ladakh is truly awesome
and the way you capture it..
It becomes more beautiful..
Thank you for all the hard work...
One of the few authentic youtube video's
Love to see such local traditions. I would want to attend a local wedding in Ladakh
What would be the great gift for an NRI whose heart stays in Himalayas...it's the great joy watching your videos.i am a great fan sir.whatever help I can I will do.. you are amazing at what your doing. truly appreciated.
oh my god, it is so beautiful. I just went to ladakh this summer. Your video has motivated me to go in winter too. Looking forward for more videos.
Thanks Shruti. More videos on the way. All the best for your winter trip planning.

your all videos are good and intresting.not boring at all.
you have done a great job.
I was lost in watching your video. Awesome man 😊
+Anil Thakur Thank you Anil. I'm happy to hear that ☺

I am glad you liked Chaang. Bro you are amazing story teller. Lots of love from HP
India in motion shows us ladakh from a different perspective, different from what we see in videos just riding on motorcycles.
Your voice resembles the voice of Another UA-camr toll-free traveller a lot .... Passions of both of u match a lot even ur narrative styles n photography style aswell .... Great effort btw brother .... God bless u
Even though you aren't satisfied with this video,I found it beautiful. As always you end up giving us glimpses of rare moments. 😊👍
At the end sunrise 🔆 timelapse looks stunning. Like moving chaddar

Spectacular... you got us very close to see the marriage customs & traditions in Ladhak.. Thanks a lot (please teach me how to shoot timelapse :P)
Thank you Jadhav. Unfortunately I cannot teach you how to make timelapses. But I can tell you how I learnt. Which was to go out and shoot, make mistakes, look up tutorials online and learn from them. Hope you do the same. Cheers.
I noticed you are also moving your camera in some of the time lapses. How are you doing that? It's creates a nice dynamic effect...
I use a 3-axis motion control system for my timelapses. They are bulky and expensive. But the results are great.
Thanks for your amazing channel.
With Golbal Warming here ..... Your Videos are going to be so important.
thank you
thanks bro surely will wait for that video...this places you had visited in winters looks totally different when we went there in September. Your videos has inspired me to go to Ladakh in winters but surely I won't camp...haha

But for me, there is a million dollar question. When u make a solo travel to these places, who makes d video? Pl tell me.
Amazing stuff bro.. keep it up !
Thanks Sahil
These type of content is far better than vloggers with million subscriber having a superbike and travel to spiti with girlfriend
great stories from mountains bro...gave me goosebumps! just a query - are you sure Chang is cold? In Spiti they told me to have it to keep warm.
+saurabh narang Thanks Saurabh. Ofcourse, Chang is beer so it cools your body. They must have been talking about Ara which is almost pure alcohol and it definitely warms your body
In summers, Spiti women drink a mild version of Chang when they work in the fields. They say that it is cool and refreshing when working under the hot sun.
oh yeah - my bad. you're right. I got mixed b/w both the drinks here. cheers :)
Hi this is really good
Why doesn't this channel already have 100K subscribers?

Hi. Thanks for sharing the video. This summer i am going to this region and i wish to experience the tribal culture or even have a short stay with them. How can i do this? Is it possible? Thanks.
