How do you have so much patience and desire to stay in tents for days alone. You are really in some zone in life where you are very clear and away from the desires we are fighting for in our city lives. Hats off to you.
It is so peaceful to camp and listen to the silence, feel cool air on your face at night. Totally get it. Once the bug has bitten you any excuse and opportunity will do.
Sir, your videos are always inspiring. I can literally feel how passionate you are for the mountains and the culture. Your simplicity and respect towards people and surroundings makes your videos even more beautiful. I wish you will have millions of subscribers around the world. Thankyou for taking us to the amazing journeys with your videos. Keep them coming.
The reasons that you cite for the abandoned fields is a telling commentary on the changing lives of people in remote communities (especially in the Himalaya). Climate change, changing dietary habits, alternative and more lucrative options for earning a living - yes all these certainly contribute to how lifestyles are changing. However, I do feel a little sadness to reflect on the fact that the villagers eat rice and dal (foods which are not locally grown!) out of convenience. The barley that they traditionally cultivated and turned into tsampa which is a kind of superfood is losing its dominance I guess. I truly enjoyed your video and think that you are living a dream life, camping out solo in some of the most rugged landscapes on this planet! Regarding you not being able to spot the snow leopard, it reminds me of the renowned book by the eminent naturalist/author Peter Mathiesson - The Snow Leopard (published in 1978) - in which he goes in search of the elusive cat in the company of another famous naturalist George Schaller in the hills of the Dolpo region in Nepal and never sees one!! But he comes away spiritually satisfied and content. I feel your journeys too contain an underlying spiritual tone and depth which is another reason why I follow your unique channel! By the way, the brief time lapse sequences and visuals in this video are great and add very much to the quality of the content!
I've read Peter Mathiesson's book as well and was fascinated by his search for the snow leopard. More intriguing than the snow leopard was his description of the people living in the region. I used to be fascinated by all these stories and they were the catalyst that made me finally quit my job and start traveling full time in search of similar adventures.
@@indiainmotion Thank you sir for beautiful video and an insight what is the change happening in mountains. You are truly living your dream. Many wishes for your safe travel.
Peas or maybe broccoli? Maybe not enough water... Beans? This was good, thank you. Things changed so quickly there! Makes me think how change is constant, and sometimes we experience a lot of changes in a very short time, and it seems most everything changes. It can be difficult to adapt. And seeing this makes me think how the whole world is going through changes now, more and more often. Great Waves of change.
Bhai there are only few vlogger whom i respect or care about commenting to there videos. You are one of those ..most respected for me...i really pray from my heart that you achieve what all you looking for. Tum alien ho bhai ,normal admi me itna patience possible nhi hai ..❤
Vlogging & Travelling Solo is a thing you enjoy and a thing you've mastered over these years. And the amount of experience you've gained shows when you camp out in the wild without a tent. Imagining it makes me want to do the same thing. You really inspire me Sir. 🙏😇 Looking forward for more videos. KUDOS. ♥
A tent is protection against elements like wind and rain. It won't do anything to stop wild animals if they decide to attack you. So sleeping out in the open is not more dangerous than sleeping inside. Atleast that's what I tell myself.
You are an Inspiration Brother. You are living the life of many like us. Whenever i see your videos i try to feel myself in it. I hope to see you someday. Love from Delhi. ❤

Thank you very much! And to answer your question.. not really. I will be afraid if there are bears in the area. But this region only has snow leopards and wolves and they are no threat to us humans.
They are living in harmony with nature, away from the modern society & city life. Yet, see how happy & contended they are from within. Material possessions don't give you happiness, only a simple life can give you true happiness. And as usual, this documentary too was exceptional my bro! 😇💙💐🙏🏻
Maybe the people above 40-50 are happy and content with their lives. But the younger people are as restless and stressed out about money like the rest of us.
@@indiainmotion Well thought bro. The younger ones want to move out to cites to earn more money and get access to better facilities, like hospitals, electricity etc. But, to get those privileges they need to forgo the pristine unpolluted and serene environment of Ladakh. Patience and perseverance pays...You have ample of both. Am sure you will spot the elusive snow leopards soon. Carry a SOS device (Gramin or similar) with you since you are days away from civilization. Good luck and be safe.
I had already spotted a snow leopard (for 5 seconds) a few weeks before i made this video. I was not looking for a Snow Leopard in that instance. So i can't use them while going off grid.
Well done on your travels and willingness to adventure out into the wilderness! You have such awesome videos 👌😎 Ive been watching your videos and I see you are using a solar panel, is that a must have item in Ladakh for 9 days trek or will a power bank be okay?
If you just need to charge your camera batteries then a power bank might suffice. But if you use your phone for navigation/entertainment then a solar panel is essential. The panel I use, Anker 21W, weighs ~400g, so I prefer carrying it over a power bank.
I don't really like attending festivals like that. I prefer to see the authentic way people live their lives and not when they are dressed up and putting on a show for tourists.

sir i want to ask one question , this tent is pitched always above the land with some space below, does it not bother you as cold wind may come through this space
Nope, it is a summer tent and the breeze keeps things nice and cool during the summer nights. The breeze helps prevent condensation. It all depends upon the sleeping bag you are using though, if you feel cold or not.
