There is… but it doesn’t block people’s channels from showing up nor does it hide their comments, only on your videos which sucks the most since there’s so many bigoted UA-camrs overusing “WOKE” showing up every time I search for a movie title or something with a diverse cast in it.
There's a UA-cam extension called BlockTube. I use it, and it adds "Block Video" and "Block Channel" to the 3 Dots you usually see on the side of videos in searches and such.

Hero Hei fans are like the anime equivalent to Dream fans, as soon as someone calls him out, his fans will flood your mentions and say that you’re either just jealous or that you’re wrong about him.
For someone who supposedly really hates twitter, hero hei sure owes a lot of his online popularity to random posts from people with barely any followers
My main problem with Hero Hei is how repetitive his contents were. He basically search a dumb tweet which most of the time has few engagement(not worth your day) from whatever controversy he's milking, proceeds to make 1 -3 minute video and 3 times a day. That's Hh channel.
I do miss the days when his content varied more. You honestly did kind of describe it very well. I mean seeing idiots on Twitter can be fun but seeing variety can be better.
@@afasfedawzdsrf I highly doubt you'll see variety anytime soon. He gets views for whatever controversy he got his hands on. Which could be good if it wasn't for prioritizing quantity over quality.

Jesus Christ can’t believe I used to watch this guy I remember him covering basic political crap on Twitter and people being buttholes to other people and stuff but some of the posts were just random and some people in his videos he was arguing against just made a mistake.
I remember his video series on how “I Am Not Starfire” was “woke garbage”, with him explaining how the main character Mandy was a self-insert meant to make Starfire more “politically correct” or something. Saw other people’s takes on the graphic novel and a lot of them agreed it wasn’t “woke”, just written poorly. In fact, there was nothing in the GN that indicated any politics, it was just a story about a girl trying to come out of her mom’s shadow. Dude was just upset Mandy was a chubby girl and the author was a woman.
@@sierrafirerider it is woke because if you have any story that acknowledge that women exist or any group that isn't a cisgender straight white man then it is automatically political all the time no matter what! there are two genders. man and political. that's literally their brain. they have the politically understanding of a toddler who thinks it's a sport's team and they constantly bring up politics even tho they claim to hate it so much even tho they know nothing about politics
I used to watch him too but realized his videos are just ragebaits and not even about huge topics but some random tweets and I got bored and annoyed by it knowing it's the same shit every day. Fortunately, though I wasn't able to adapt his politics and was just curious I guess . I also watched TheQuartering and CriticalDrinker and now I don't because of the same reason; they keep talking about Brie Larson and Disney Women. This guy is known for stirring up drama and going after bigger content creators for clout. Besides I can't take someone with pronouns in his bio seriously lol
Yeah, no. First of all, western fans are not that polite in expressing their dislike towards something. And second of all, Twitter getting offended is pretty real if you decide to actually watch the videos. You can turn off the sound if you dislike hero (or watch rev instead) but at least try to look with your own eyes how toxic people can get over some animation. Not wanting to look for evidence does not mean that the evidence is fake or "manufactured". Unless if you yourself is part of the evidence, then I suppose not looking for it is a decent idea.
Yeah. His fanbases can't take any criticism and just straight up attack you for it. Can't get anything more embarrassing than the Hero Hei fans proving the video's point. Plus, a bigger number of subscriber doesn't make Hero Hei's content any good. That screams superiority complex right here.
I never really liked him, because he uploads commentary videos like every 5 milliseconds, it kinda looks like he rushes them and doesn't care if he's saying something that is credible/true or the stuff he is making videos about still hasn't been resolved. I feel like once upon a time he was a normal youtuber talking about Anime before he made his channel bitching about... people bitching? I was introduced to him from when he made videos about RWBY. Normal discussion videos not being outraged about everything. Worst part about him is his delusional fanbase. One day Monty Oum's brother called out Hero Hei and the misinformation he spreads. Hero Hei responded and the comments are disgusting. So many saying Monty is the better brother and that he'd be disappointed in him. Crap like that. Now I know we can't exactly claim creators are responsible for their fans but these are his most upvoted comments on his video, I find it hard to believe he's not aware of them. At the very least it seems reasonable that if majority of your fans are saying such horrid things that you should tell them "Look guys I appreciate you defending me but this isn't okay" Like the very small youtuber you mentioned that he made a video on. His fans absolutely went off on her that she was essentially bullied into an apology and taking back everything she said. I doubt he isn't aware of this either but he doesn't do anything to condemn the actions of his fans.

Just wanted to come here to mark a divide- Hero Hei just posted his response and I am already seeing people jump over and be aggressive. I don't think Hero Hei would want this, plus it's baseless not to watch this man's video and just use his comment section as a soap box. Does Hero Hei dramatize things? Yes, very much so. Does Hero Hei Dox People? No, and I hate how he was painted here. He tells people not to go after said people, but when you have a platform it's always a consequence including people's names. I don't appreciate this video because it seems like a lot of half lies painted as if they are solid fact. Some facts about Hero Hei- A large portion of money goes to charities each month. He wants donations to said charities. Not to mention the people on Twitter definitely deserve some questionabillity. I appreciate how Hero Hei exercises "Freedom of speech, not freedom of consequence". It's funny when people only censor themselves and backtrack when he gets tagged. If you have guilt in your words you probably won't like it when you get called out. Hero Hei reads off of tweets. It's the same as official news sources covering tweets. He is not making accusations, he is covering them + some commentary. It's silly when people can't distinguish the two things. In this light, despite this video, my bias is pro Hero Hei. He's just a dude. He's not sexist, misogynist, racist, homophobic, ect. These were some of the silliest accusations against him. Just like any entertainment news sources, you don't have to watch him, but painting him in a bad light because of the content he covers is really silly. That's all she wrote. Please be respectful, that's the number one goal.

To add to the list of anime that is just sheer critism to the Japanese culture and politics 1. Legends of the Galactic Heroes, the non-ending wars, corruption, political manipulation by humans. 2. Gundam, the entire franchise is a critising child soldiers, corruption, non-ending wars, facism (Zeon, but they actually became sort of good guys, we will see), human greed, authoritarian (Federation of earth putting control on every colonies). Fans of the series even acknowledge this. 3. A Silent Voice, critising the entire fabric of the Japanese society and beliefs especially the bullying part and suicide and how bad the Japanese society is at dealing it. I can continue but by then it will be making an essay at this point and my hands are in pain after 3 hours of HoI4 play through. Edit: I remember one video that made me remove him from my YT reccomendation was the video he said that Japanese politics is moving away from the left because the only thing he sees it and based it on is the fewer seats that the Japanese Communist Party have in the recent election. I would say that overall you do have a point but for the fact that a lot of people who seem to be Parallax fans/defending parallax have been anything but respectable and having a mature conversation about hero from the very beginning. When in actuality 99% of people knows that the take is ridiculious no matter what they actually think
You said everything that needed to be said. That's always been my problem with him. He exaggerates his content and promote all this misinformation like "The LGBTQ+ is cancelling me now" "This is what feminists really think of me..." It's so overused but such an easy way to attract sexists, racists, and homophobes to not only promote your content, but further discrimination against them. Yeah, LGBTQ+ people and women do shitty things. Everyone does. There will always be assholes of all types. Here's the thing though, based on the comments section here and in the Hero Hei's response to this video, Why is it that in Hero Hei's comment section, the people there are more sane and this video (Parallax) comes off as something malicious? The moment you started calling him "discount linguini" comes off as a personal hatred to him. The moment at the end of the video you tried to maliciously make us unsub to him. Your videos comes off as biased as they are the moment you call him "discount linguini". Anyways, before you start making a video about anyone, try to be neutral for once and try to get them from all sides instead of being onesided. Now I wonder why Hero Hei's are more sane than any of people on the internet. But I'm just a regular joe on the internet and nobody would care about my comment.
Because they don’t really have anything else to say other than his style of videos. The fact that Parallax is going to make yet another Hero Hei hit piece in 2022 really proves the “living rent free in someone’s head” statement. In other words, it isn’t even criticism just pure spite solely because they don’t like his ideology. That’s it.
being a fan of an anime franchise which has been very political since its first release (Gundam), it’s really weird seeing the community complaining about anime being political
Except for the fact that that is not the issue. The issue is Americans forcing their own domestic politics into Japanese Anime. This video's representation of the whole issue is misleading and misinformed. To put it into perspective, imagine an Islamic scholar or a Christian preacher ranting about how Anime is not Islamic or Christian enough, despite the fact that non of the two groups are relevant in Japanese society nor do they have any right to tell a foreign nation what they can and cannot do in regard to THEIR OWN form of entertainment.
oh come on those debates on anime has been around since the 90s, and for one thing, it's not "western politics"; back then asian aunties and tiger mom's also said the same stuffs on it. It's just a common over reaction of seeing something out of someone's set of value/belief. I think that the idea of a piece of art/product can have a pros and cons is just a common thing. A piece of supposed entertainment can have multi-interpretation is also common. Look at how people interpret and respond to Eva's "omedetou" ending in the 90s and you see that this thing has been going for ages. IMO what became an issue these days is that how some parties/stakeholders/individuals are funneling those pretty-common discourses into an unhealthy mob for their own purposes be it self validation or profit or anything else. And Parallax dude highlighted that well in his work here.

The context of the tweet is also really important. Hero Hei reads off of tweets. It's the same as official news sources covering tweets. He is not making accusations, he is covering them + some commentary. It's silly when people can't distinguish the two things.

To add to the list of anime that is just sheer critism to the Japanese culture and politics

Really speaks a lot about the two and the fanbases they cultivated over the years
Parallax fans harass hero a lot I saw you harassing him in his comment section the other day and miserablegeneral harasses him even more and even made a reddit and website to harass hero. You also sound fake ignoring how parallax insulted hero's appearance first and you even left a comment before this to ko-chan saying ko-chan had "sex with his 12 year old sister" so you can't talk about parallax fans being respectable or mature.
I would say that overall you do have a point but for the fact that a lot of people who seem to be Parallax fans/defending parallax have been anything but respectable and having a mature conversation about hero from the very beginning. You do have a small point about making fun of Parallax for wearing a mask because the majority of the comments that I have seen in regards to the masks really didn't have anything logical to say and were more emotional but from the very beginning of this video the majority of comments we're just being incredibly toxic towards hero and it's almost impossible to find anybody cool have a calm and polite debate on this subject, pretty much from either side but definitely from people who seem to be anti-hero.

It's so overused but such an easy way to attract sexists, racists, and homophobes to not only promote your content, but further discrimination against them. Yeah, LGBTQ+ people and women do shitty things. Everyone does. There will always be assholes of all types.
What he's doing is building his content on their dumb tweets, amplifying it to the max, shows a few agreeing comments and makes a few people's opinions everyone's opinion, then sits back and watches people swarm towards it to justify their hatred. Rinse and repeat.
His brain is just programmed to hate twitter user's Opinions, which is understandable, but to the extent of something I don't even go
can you mention some videos where he "hated" a twitter user opinion which was "right" and not harmful to someone
This is why I consider Hero Hei as the anime community's Keemstar, and his child tantrum on the pinned comment solidifies that
He's a wannabe joseph joestar, trying to break down the other guy by 'predicting' what he'll try to do to him or something lol. You can tell he doesn't know how to talk like a sensible human being, he is an anime fan so that about sums it up.
>Defending yourself against slander
>Tantrum
I guess those two are the exact same thing these days lmao.
@@darkwowplayer Defending himself? He left his shitty response comment minutes before the video even premieres. He never watched the video, he simply assumes what I was about to say based on the UA-cam metadata. So much for being "open to criticism".
Also, while we're at it, do show which part of my video is slander. I'll be waiting for your response. Take your time if you need to.
@@ParallaxMY I think Zarkkill's just pointing out that defending against an argument and throwing a tantrum are the same these days. Honestly it's kinda sad, the morality blur is getting worse. You don't even know if someone are throwing a tantrum or just being defensive anymore.
That being said, I knew hero hei was a pos of a gaslighter. The more I watch his videos the more I hate him. After I watched this video, I never feel more disgusted if his videos popped up in my recommended.
Man, his ego are unbearable.
Ah, my bad. I'm sorry for jumping the gun.
Hero Hei is like Dream, whenever someone attacks him, his stans would raid the comment section.
@Miserable_General969 care to factually prove your statement?
@Miserable_General969 Not all, there are some Normal fans of both Hero Hei and Dream and to clarify,I don't like Hero Hei and I don't care about Dream
@Miserable_General969 Uzaki-chan isn't american and isn't 14.
@Miserable_General969 Bro ur literally obsessed with 'calling out' hero hei and worshipping parallax for making this video and then just not replying to any of the comments questioning u for source, or evidence or literally anything else
Hell most if not a good chunk of ur YT and Twitter is devoted to parallax, and hating on hero hei
Bruh.... "replying" a.k.a 'attacking' someone cuz of disagreement it doesn't mean they're 'stans' or 'preyer'......
Welcome to the world, that ppl can agree/disagree....
I legit see people here saying they hate him wtf
Because they don’t really have anything else to say other than his style of videos. The fact that Parallax is going to make yet another Hero Hei hit piece in 2022 really proves the “living rent free in someone’s head” statement. In other words, it isn’t even criticism just pure spite solely because they don’t like his ideology. That’s it.
It’s really hard to take him seriously when you hear the word "Discount Linguini"
Extremely based
just pure hate
I only watch a couple of his vids related of vtubers. Well, his videos are mostly like 1+ minutes only so they don't really attract me to watch.
being a fan of an anime franchise which has been very political since its first release (Gundam), it’s really weird seeing the community complaining about anime being political
It's not about Anime being political, it's about projecting western politics onto Japanese Anime.
It's not politics per se, but saying stuff like "Dragon Maid is pedophilia" or "kaeluc is incest" that's the main issue.
oh come on those debates on anime has been around since the 90s, and for one thing, it's not "western politics"; back then asian aunties and tiger mom's also said the same stuffs on it.
@@Danboo21531 That's why a I'd argue social media needs to take more action against this type of behavior, contrary to what those on the right might say about "free speech." Harrassing kaeluc artists is not any kind of speech that needs to be protected.
Not gonna lie that I kept seeing his videos about Uzaki-chan that I was under impression that it was still an ongoing drama? I guess it wasn't anymore. Good to hear that.
I only watch Hero Hei for the Twitter drama because it's entertaining to say the least. I mean, the dude's content can be stale but I literally don't feel anything hostile from his channel.
You on the other hand, are asking his subscribers to unsubscribe him for nothing (basically canceling him), calling him a discount store linguini when you so conveniently hide your face behind a mask and clearly just making up some conspiracy theory of a random dude.
Bruh, if you hate him, just say so.... Don't go about writing a thesis about it. You have every right to state your opinion but, you're doing it very poorly.
This is a balanced take
He's simply reading twitter commends in an entertaining way uwu.
@@keqingsimp6788 the way his fans harass everyone he makes a video on isn't entertaining or wholesome tho uwu
@@keqingsimp6788 I honestly don't care how Hero Hei presents his content and my opinion of him is very neutral. I quit Twitter so, he's one of my sources for Twitter drama when I need it because, I find them ridiculous and funny. But honestly, as far as I've watched a couple of his videos, he doesn't seem to attack anyone. One can argue that, yes, he should've blocked their usernames, and I do mostly agree with that statement. However, when there's a toxic tweet posted in a public platform that could ruin a person's career, mental health, etc., It should be displayed. Let them take accountability. It's not like it's their real name or their address is being exposed. It's our responsibility to not harrass the user but, we have just as much rights to call out their bullshit, respectfully.
@@mukundpadmanabhan1930 You made a good point. To be honest I'm still split on this entire issue. I feel that, even if the content of a tweet is questionable, going after the owner just creates a toxic cycle which will only widen the divide. Not to mention that since Hero Hei has a substantial number of subscribers, even if he told them not to spread the hate, some of them may still end up doing it. The context of the tweet is also really important. Like you mentioned, malicious tweets are bad, but when it comes to annoying tweets like, for example, "Anime is stupid", these comments are generally not worth the attention since they are considered personal opinions and no individual got attacked.
Watching hero heis video does not differentiate from reading directly from twitter posts lol
This guy takes the phrase "Just trust me bro" to a whole another level. Like please drop your holier than thou attitude. At this point a school presentation would be more evidential and factual then your opinionated rant.
Were you by chance one of the twittards that got cancelled then hero hei made a video, causing you to think it's okay to direct your hatred at him, even though he hardly ever insults anyone just shows the context in his videos
