So I’m doing this conversion on my big flyer now here’s some things you need 6 bolt 180 millimeter disk rotor 160 disk brake adapter (yes i know 180 wont reach on the 180 rotor) washers Bike berry disk brake adapter thread lock 15t free wheel (fits on smaller side of flip flop hub) 6 bolt disc rotor adapter (remove the stock freewheel you have and fit it on the big side) and a bunch of washers Ill let you guys know when i complete it
yo are those fat tires on a 2021 big flyer. because I have a big flyer 2021 stealthmode and I bought the same disc brake shimano diors but I don't know how to put them on the bike and how did you get FAT TIRES on it. lmk as soon as possible.
@@wavydemian1722 the lack of knowledge or lack of help in here is insane. They're Vee Speedster 29 x 2.8" and are currently super hard to find. You can get the classic ones or the ones branded by SE, same thing just some different color variations from SE.
Yes the 44mm is the adapter that works to hold the disc if your freewheel is opposite then that one you will need to change your freewheel I’m not 100%
This video makes the conversion wayyybetter on explanation ! You dont need different wheels .!do as this man says buy 15t freewheel ,cause the rotor adapters only fit the left side (biggerside ) so you’ll need a smaller freewheel to make it work !
I rather just get a bike with the disk break set up already on it,there’s just to much you gotta do and tweak to convert a bike and things shift after riding so you constantly gotta fix things

I did it now at a 15/33
Yes went to a 33 I believe but yes definitely had to switch up the gearing to feel like my other bikes

How do you have pegs? i converted a v-break Big Ripper but i cant have both pegs on because the mount takes up space on the axel.
It just worked maybe you need a longer axel or could use screw on pegs📝

Only did the adapter but the disc ready hub is your best option

your tire might not be even one side might be highrt or lower
or u may need a longer axle

Probably add a few chain links to make your wheel go back further
