You got a new sub! 👍 I thought she was about to BEAT THE BRAKES outta you when she first seen you messing with her bike, it'll be all worth it when she rides it the first time!
Please do it! I’m looking into either building a bike just like this or converting a fast ripper with a mid drive setup. I want to know how it works out. The build is wild and haven’t seen anyone else do it yet! @bike life gee
I made one but better to use a steel frame preferably old school steel frame. Also I used a torque arm on each side of rear dropouts. I did use a 1500w but was able to go 39 miles per hour.
It's easy to spread and bend back if you have 2 scissor car jacks the same brand ( cheap ones that you have in cars for a flat). As long as you have the original size. Get the 2 jacks side by side (your need to wedge them in somewhere so they can't move) Do 1 turn each at a time each side. For spreading just need the jack inside the frame, it's quick and 100% accurate and even. I've done it many times from when I was a kid even if it's out a bit it's very hard to notice when it's bend back. The washer with the little hook shape goes on the inside and adds about another 1/2 inch. I don't think you accounted for that. Also G I don't know if you have enough room for the battery pack and controller box? That's why it's better to get one built in the wheel, it's not any bigger in width. If I can be of any help on anything just hit me up in IG bro. P.S you saw my one that was a 2" spread so it's about the same as yours.
I think if can stretch it with a helping hand and slide the wheel in and test bolt it on then you should be ok. But I wouldn’t use any hydraulic tools or power tools and bend the frame to stretch it open because it won’t be straight anymore once it’s bent. Only if the axle fits the dropout. Just my opinion you don’t have to take my word for it😜
Be careful with “stretching the frame” , it’s aluminum not steel. Aluminum will crack it does not have too much flex like a steel frame. This is why I would recommend a Bafang mid drive motor instead. More efficient and don’t have to mess with the rear wheel.
Don't do it man. That bike looks fresh as is. What if you put that kit on an old school style schwin stingray type bike and make it match your Chevy nova blue and chrome 🤔 just a thought.

i could smell that nova when you started pumping the gas pedal
ohh thats why i only seen mid drive on these bikes gotta stretch aluminum frame

Damn I'm scared 😱 🤣🤣
And yes battery and controller I'm not sure it's gona work.
@@bikelifegee He who dares wins 🤣 There's always a risk in doing it and that's a nice bike as well.

What kit are you using? I've been wanting to make one of mine into an ebike. Link?
I think the big ripper has the 142 spacing. Might be wider.

I use a car jack, never failed me yet! 😆
i say dont stretch the frame and try it on a monster ripper or monster quad frame instead..stressing the frame may crack it
Yea I'm thinking that
Fuck it man do it
Im all for these frankensteined bikes
Me too 🤣🤣
Does that company have a rear hub that fits that rear drop out on that bike maybe send it back and get another one.

Also the controller is built into the motor…. One less thing to mount and take up space on the frame. DON’t STRETCH ALUMINUM!!
How come this conversion kit isn’t working for this SE bike like it did for your other one?

I'm thinking man
Good thing you didn't. I have nothing against e-bikes, but if it doesn't fit then it's not made for it.
Greetings from Berlin Germany✌🏻
What do you do for work bro? So many bikes
14 hours a day trucker
@@Mike1993_ email me georgecameron3@yahoo.com
Let me know having the same issue smh don't want to stretch my frame and ruin my bike
Attempted conversion***
if it is aluminum frame forget it ,one inch is alot
That's what I'm thinking
@@bikelifegee are you thinking of adding a gear shifter?
@@zico3239 I'm thinking about returning the kit🤣🤣
@@bikelifegee good thinking. or gettin a bike with the right drop out .😄
@@zico3239 lol
Don't do it
