- Flowmaster Force II Cat-back. Super 50 Series Muffler. 17362. Replaced my loud droning turndowns with something more subtle. Took about an hour to remove the old exhaust and install the new. Uses factory exhaust hangers and bolts right up! Clamps don't leak as of now. :-)

It's loud enough to let you know it's not stock but not so loud as to annoy you while your in the cab.
Just a update on the system, everything is holding up really well. Still no leaks with the clamps and I haven't had to tighten them yet. The sound has actually gotten a bit louder I guess because it has been "broken in." That is all.
Its noticeable on take offs and over about 2500 rpms, very subtle though. Makes the engine sound like its got a good growl to it without being too obtrusive. That "resonator" i guess is just to keep sound out of the cab which it does very well. Does look like a 40 series though.
Exact sound I want on my tahoe.not loud and obnoxious but that low growl.clean.

No cutting, no welding. Just bolted straight up using the factory exhaust hangers and the clamps that came with it. I payed 400 for it on amazon
I would take that resonator off since ur using the 50 series. If you were using the original 40's then I can see having it. Unless ur looking for the stock sound with out having a 100lb restrictive muffler on

well at least I know what my muffler is a knock off of ive got a thrush sounds just like this sounds good but after my old Silverado its not nearly loud enough

does the american thunder force ii cat-back system use the 50 series muffler cause my dad has the american thunder sos system on his 2012 1500 ltz and im thinking about getting the same one for my 2004 1500 but i cant decide between this and the super 40 series

i have a thrush welded on my 02 silverado should try that out it will give it a low growl and honestly i love it and its not to loud and not quiet it givea it a nice pur and low growl like a corvette

im lookin for an exhaust like thhis for my tahoe i want that sound but i want loud. basically im planning on running true duals strraight from my headers i want this deep growl but i want it to b loud when i want to make it loud with out it sounding like a pissed off popcorn machine. i like cackle dont get me wrong but i like that deep roar a helll of a lot more... what exhausts do any of you people on youtube know of that wud suit me

That’s not a resonator it’s a muffler like the super 10 lol he’s running two mufflers!

What resonator did you go with
I bought the kit as a full cat-back system. Not sure what resonator came with it. I’d have to go back and look up the part number for the kit and try and find out what exactly it was.
looking for something like this for my 03 4.8 chevy Tahoe LT and wanted to know is 50 series to loud if, so what's a good series that's a lil louder than stock I like fast but not loud.
50 series isn't too loud. It's for somebody who wants a good roar that's not too extreme

I used my iPhone. When I was uploading it, UA-cam asked me if I wanted them to optimize my video to reduce shutter or some crap like that. That's why the picture seems to float.

50 Series Heavy Duty or the Pro Series my nigga.
Smooth roar on acceleration but at cruising speed it's quiet. Zero drone.

bruh you don't want that, just have your local exhaust shop weld it on, or if you're gonna do it yourself just buy the flowmaster and turndowns.

Anybody can make exhaust sound good and loud. My goal with this exhaust system was to get it back closer to stock with a solid exhaust system with okay sound. 3 month old babies don't necessarily prefer a screaming 300 horsepower power plant with turn downs in their ears.

Chasemanuti it's a resonator. It comes with the kit.

Glyn Robinson , not bad. It says "hey!, I'm back here Letting you know your rpms are between 2500-3000 but not saying dude those pipes are annoying. You can't hear them at cruising speed, but they are noticeable at takeoffs that it's not stock.

@@gerardolopez5875 the resonator cuts down on drone inside the cab. I can only assume that it was flowmaster brand. It came with the cat-back kit.
