In Spain many people are in awe of Amancio Ortega, the country’s wealthiest man, who founded Zara and Inditex, because he donated a few expensive cancer detection machines to the healthcare system, while ignoring how he amassed his fortune being the first fast fashion brand to move all of his production to poor Asian countries, leaving Spanish workshops broke and having to close down.
Hi Natalia! Thanks so much for sharing that information. It's a shame that so much manufacturing has been moved overseas from Spain and many other countries, the United States included. I am struggling with a white paint color to use for walls, ceiling and trim that look great with honey oak wood and a brick fireplace with whites and a close darker color in it beige intenso by Sherwin Williams (not painted just that dark in brick along with whites). I’m more interested in creating a sandy beach feel not grays. Suggestions?
Hi Myra! It's hard give a specific recommendation without seeing the finishes but it sounds like you need something that works well with orange tones. I would recommend going to samplize.com and looking at their bundles in White Creams, Light Beiges and Muted Creams. Those seem to be pretty good color ranges to pull that look together. You can order peel and stick samples there, bundles or individual colors, to test them out.
Funny you say that - id say im the same but i have just renovated and shocked myself by going for warm minimalist .. and i am surprised just how much i like it! I have cream sofas pale oak BMwalls/ceilings and lots of antique brass snd paintings.. anyway much nicer than i expected!! And im s colour lover!
