      @kentcarnivore  Рік тому +5

      @Jack Ryan Exactly! It's such a shame that we've been told to go against our natural instincts. The small children that don't like the immediate taste, spitting them out, are smarter than the adults, forcing them into their diet. My parents never questioned it either, and I lost my colon in my late 20s. Nothing against them though, as they were encouraged to advocate plants in the diet. Lots of correcting to do now.

    It's important to remember that healthy people have sufficient mechanism in the body for dealing with these chemicals in small amounts. So a meat heavy omnivore diet should not cause more than the most mild of symptoms for most people, hypothetically. But in this modern day with all sorts of other things harming our health and stressing our organs, vegetables might be the straw that breaks the camel's back. I personally eat a carnivore breakfast, keto lunch, and moderate carb dinner and feel great. I'm also active, so I put those carbs into my muscles as glycogen.

    • @What-The-Beef
      @What-The-Beef 7 місяців тому +3

      Well "sufficient mechanism" lasts for only a period of time. The majority of people over a certain age do suffer an autoimmune disorder or another. Those carbohydrates always get you in the end. Bad backs,/bad joints/arthritis are almost universal and these people really need to go low carb. It would be a life changer for them.

    Thanks so much for this informative video. All legumes and vegetables in general have been out of my diet for about a year. I have gone through the misery of kidney stones that resulted in kidney infections, and I never want to go through that horror again. I used to eat tons of potatoes -- no more. Fortunately, I've never liked spinach or tomatoes, bell peppers, almonds, or most fruit. I have avoided alcohol all my life and never understood the extensive appeal of wine! I was invited to a wine and cheese party once, and found out that "wine and cheese" meant just that -- ONLY wine and cheese! Not even ice water!
    I have also eliminated spices to season my food. I use only Redmond's Real Salt. Carnivore is the only way for me. It's liberating to be free of grains and sugar, which did me so much harm over the years.
    Thanks again, and a Carnivore cheer to you.

    I’ve just found your channel and immediately subscribed and tweeted two of your videos…. I’m leaning more and more towards a carnivore diet, but what I wanted to ask you is there anything apart from meat and animal-based products that you would eat ? Any fruit or vegetables that would accompany something like a steak? Thank you😂

      Firstly, thanks so much for your support. Very much appreciated.
      So for me, I only eat fatty beef, eggs, salmon once a week and some raw dairy. I can't personally bring myself to introduce any plants back into my diet. The reason being, all plants are toxic in some way, shape or form. But, If I absolutely had to introduce some carbs, they would probably be....
      White potatoes local and in season, Some local berries only when in season and ripe. And maybe things like olives and avocado. But honestly, they're sugary though low. They're fibrous. The potatoes and berries have oxalates and the others will be high in polyunsaturated fats, so increase photo sensitivity. Lettuce is kinda inoffensive I suppose.
      I just think that the healthiest diet for humans, is one comprised of high quality, fatty animal products cooked in animal fats. Salt to taste.
      Hope thats helpful.

    I’ve been on antidepressants for 27yrs, 1 of the main side effects is a constant craving for carbs. I’ve been as heavy as 112kg, I’m now 87kg and slowly losing pounds. Prior to going on antidepressants I had no carb cravings, was a healthy 70kg and active 30yrs old.
    I’m now 57, weigh 87kg, my knees are ravaged with osteoarthritis.

    Great video, I know your time is limited, but would be great to see something like this expanded on.
    With AI now making this type of video a whole lot easier, I'm hoping someone can take this theme and run with it.
    Would love to do it myself, but the learning curve from where I am to video creator is rather large!

      I always say that if you must eat plants, try fermented veggies, avocados, olives, and local seasonal berries. But all depends on what health issues you have. Those usually work for most people.

    Thank you man! Many... Many years ago I decided in an HONEST way to eat only what pleases me. Honest therefore means no ice-cream diet and no six-pack evenings over pizza. It went into different direction to stabilize itself on beef meat but no porc. Eggs. Different livers and occasionally a brain (don't judge me) bone broth a bit of sauerkraut or fermented cucumbers and kefir that i make myself cuz.. fun. Plus tons and tons of fish. Smoked or brined but never fried. I will eat a handful of blue berries and absolutely avoid sugar like the plague . All these things came to be before I ever heard "carnivore diet" etc.
    I felt like sharing.
    Take good care of yourself bro and good luck

    Hii Kent, I am an Indian and aa hindu. We cannot eat beef or pork. And I heard chicken and goat meat is not suggested in crohns related carnivore diet. Can you please tell me what I should do

    • @kentcarnivore
      @kentcarnivore  7 місяців тому +1

      Goat is great! It's ruminant so much healthier than mono-gastric livestock. I'd base the diet on fatty cuts of goat meat, whole eggs, and add butter to increase the fat when necessary. Make sure also to cook in ghee, and add salt to taste 😋 👌
      If you must eat some carbs, make it white rice. Don't have much and too often. Hope that helps 🙏

    Every addictive substance we consume comes from plants. From sugar to cocaine to coffee to tobacco. But they also contain aspirin and potential anti venoms. So eating plants is like eating a pharmacy or a plant (factory). Which meat is addictive? Which meat we eat is toxic or needs special preparation methods “to make” it safe to eat? Well maybe pufferfish and you need I think three years training so you’d have to go out of your way to get poisoned by meat. Cheers!

    I shared a video of yours with a neighbour of mine who has type 2 diabetes and lots of associated ailments, the problem is he has been brainwashed by the NHS (who haven't a clue) and the media and just brush any opposing views aside. It's a case of leading a horse to water. My neighbour will suffer much worse going forward but he listens (simps) to his vegan writer friend who is poisoning him both nutrianally and mentally. I'm not going to waste my time sharing this stuff going forward but I am going to digest the info and educate myself at least.

I'm worst off then when i started. Diets important but im coming around to the idea when drs say its not about diet they're correct. Don't really know what to do at this point. if only those of us with ibd could survive on air.

    I wonder what do you think about people like Frank Tufano or Paul Saladino? Long story short: they were both on a carnivore diet and both resigned. Frank had some health problems with his liver after 8 years being on a carnivore diet (he blames the diet for that). Do you consider carnivore diet 100% safe?

    • @kentcarnivore
      @kentcarnivore  9 місяців тому +4

      I think they both consumed way too much liver and organ supplements. They also didn't consume enough protein for their needs. Carnivore is 100% safe. It can however expose faults in previous diets. In nature, red meat is what we'd hope to eat every day. Plants are destitute in nature and we'd starve without the meat and animal fats.

      I felt similar for 4 months. Maybe try to mix up which fatty cuts of meat you eat. Short ribs, oxtail, brined beef tongue, carnivore burgers, power bowls, salmon, mackerel, butter bites, fermented cheeses, etc. All the best! I made a vid addressing staying on track. It may help, it may not. Take care for now.

    • @kentcarnivore
      @kentcarnivore  Рік тому +5

      Yes, I'm afraid all tea. But honestly a non sweetened tea is most likely fine for people who aren't massively affected with certain toxins. Nonsweet teas are far better than a glass of fructose (fruit juice) and even coffee in my opinion

    • @itzakpoelzig330
      @itzakpoelzig330 Рік тому

      Many herbal teas don't contain tannins, but they will contain other plant toxins, alkaloids, and anti-nutrients. You would have to do specific research on your own favorites to determine how safe they might be.
