I think Ransoms content hit his ceiling. He’s a Nas/Jay type (not in terms of his rhyming but his content) where there’s a lot of introspection. Women and a younger audience, if they aren’t tuned in won’t tuned in. It sucks because I’ve been listening to Ransom since street fam. However If it isn’t light on drug references like a J. Cole mainstream doesn’t want his realistic brand of rap.

K-Rino hands down without a question if you are talking lyricism. He is the most highly skilled wordsmith that's never mentioned it boggles my mind. When more underground rappers like MF Doom get recognition for their lyricism but nobody ever mentions K is crazy to me. He is arguably the best lyricist that I've ever heard.
