I love how fsx s able to run with such high fidelity on lower end hardware. I have been running it on a laptop and I get around 30-50 FPS with the pmdg 737.
Really good video I enjoyed it . The flight was great to see . Watching this I was really impressed . Keep up the great work you make some great videos ! Unbelievable flight sim you got there as well !
Ok...I love Boeing, LOVE the 787. But...I'm worried about the sim crashing while crossing the pond. I run AS16, GSX, Vatsim (vPilot), and have smartcars running in the background. I'm willing to give up a few addons to run this aircraft without crashing.
Nice video, this is probably as real as it can get for FSX! Quick question: I also run activesky 16 with the quality wings 789, in turbulence I'm getting really jerky wingflex, unlike what you had shown in the video. I have also tried turning down turbulence effects on aircraft to 30 and below withoit much success in making the wingflex to look as natural as it should be. Do you mind sharing your as16 and FSX settings please? Thanks!!!
Thanks! Which settings did you set to 30. Is it in aircraft.cfg ? I only select the turbulences in the surface winds, clouds and aloft data sections of custom weathers in AS16
hey , thanks for your great videos !just i want to know what is the difference between the flight simulator x (steam edition ) and the gold edition and the other flight simulator x`s ??? is the A340 on the steam edition???
@@AeroSid question . How much is this and is it hard and do you need to go through a tutorial . Might want to study up, I would NEVER board the passengers and have all the announcements over before you start loading baggage. Too much wait time and too many complaints.
I know that boarding and baggage loading are done in parallel. In the video, I put a fade transition between the 2 events to indicate the 2 event starts back in the time. It's the same for the takeoff and landing.
Every payware aircraft is too overpriced :( not worth the money. Literally every payware aircraft out there costs at least half the price of the simulator itself, and the simulator comes with at least 10 aircraft, plentiful scenery, and took years to develop. These design groups need to lower their price for higher demand and in return more profit. Copy and paste this comment on every payware aircraft you find for any flight sim.
Payware aircraft have years of effort put into them too and are of a very high level of detail, every system modelled. Meanwhile default aircraf that come with the simulator tend to be basic and likely didn't take the development team much time to make.
I agree that prices could be lower but most payware aircraft have more work put into them than the entire sim (in the case of FSX) when it was original developed. PMDG for example puts years into one aircraft and they have to consult with the aircraft manufacturer during the process. Default aircraft on the other hand are very simple models with little to no systems modeling.
1. The simulator was first developed by Microsoft, later bought by Lockeed Martin (P3d) and Steam for the user version, all of them with deep pockets and who can really on small profits made over thousands of sales. 2. The planes that come with FSX are NOTHING compared to a plane from PMDG or Quality Wings, where thousands of hours where put into developing the planes. 3. Only a handful of people will buy the add-ons, and they have to re-coup their investment. It's ALL pure and simple economics.
