In July 2022, China launched the Yinjiangbuhan tunnel project, aiming to channel water from the Three Gorges Dam to Beijing. This ambitious plan involves constructing a tunnel approximately twice the length of Finland's Päijänne Water Tunnel, making it one of the world's longest water tunnels. The project is expected to take a decade to complete and is part of a broader infrastructure initiative to boost food production and the economy
10:21 I always liked this design the best of current "flying car" designs. It doesn't look like a oversized drone or helicopter with the lack of propellers, and it's more compact and efficient. This design gives off more of those futuristic flying cars we actually want.
1:50 I instantly recognized the drill-head of the tunnel boring machine: it looks 1:1 like the head of a certain Herrenknecht AG TBM. (Herrenknecht AG is a south-west Germany based construction company specialized in heavy excavation equipment who pioneered several engineering inventions around tunnel boring specifically). It's really bewildering seeing a (supposedly?) Chinese-made tunnel boring machine featuring the exact same head design as one from this well known Germany company. So they either copied the (patented) TBM drill design in one way or the other. So how did it come to this? I can only think of 3 ways this happened: a) they did it roguely b) they actually bought the commercial rights to the design c) they bought the entire German-based company. It turns out: Herrenknecht once actually had a serious offer from a Chinese-based company to buy them, but rejected its 2 billion USD offer, meaning the Chinese company didn't outright buy them in its entirety. But Herrenknecht also has a subsidiary in Guangzhou, China with around 9 subsidiaries involving 900 employees, so there's the possibility that either someone leaked one of their design to a nearby Chinese company or they had both have a publicly unknown design-exchange agreement I don't know about either, because I couldn't find any public statements of Herrenknecht publicly announcing them sharing any of their recent designs with any other company so far or the report is misleading or false to begin with & it's not from a Chinese company at all but actually just a rebranded Herrenknecht TBM after all. Anyone knows specifics?
Sounds like someone should move to China! BTW you wouldn't be allowed to criticize anything openly again without consequences like prolonged detention Comrade. 😂
Hey, you know those underwater wings and blades you mentioned? Those are hydrofoils. AI just isn't there yet. Just so ya know, I'd really rather be listening to a real human voice.
All this is great, keep going. But someone please make an affordable exoskeleton so all disable people can walk, seems like a small ask concidering everything we have already created,
24 hrs of tiling, that's a lot of tiles and glue, I hope it carries all that up the stairs along with itself, it's huge, it's bigger than a UK bathroom, it's bigger than an affordable new build UK house. Does it cut out the holes needed or do you have to go back later and try to find them?
Interesting channel. Technology is fascinating. But most of these inventions are destined to fail. And this flying thing looks like an accident waiting to happen. Who is going to insure it? What would happen to a child that stuck its hand in one of the rotating impellers? What happens if there is a glitch in the software? Airplanes and helicopters have some stability if the engine dies. They don't fall like rocks in most cases. This is insane! It's clever, and it would make a fun model to fly with radio control in small scale.
All the stuff is really neat but I have to point out to everyone about this flying car those rotors and inevitably develop into deducted fans to give more performance and deducted fans develop into squirrel fans and the squirrel fans that we use in our everyday central heat and air conditioner unit in the house and inevitably developed to the jet engine intake compressor

Off road boat. That’s innovative!
Till it floods and your stuck in the middle 😅
I wonder how that MIT table is gonna turn out after I spill pancake syrup on it.
8:00 that kind of farming kills all birds egg, worms, ladybirds or bugs etc. That's not Agriculture it's a FactoryCulture!
so because something is different its FactoryCulture?????

I've always seen on my travels backwards engineering with a tint of culture from the eastern engineers.
BEAUTIFUL FLOATING MODULAR SPACE/S
Ah, the evil feed pellets to replace grass feeding!
yeah, how soon does the tunnel collaspe.
It just goes to show how far behind China, the western world is technologically. If you honestly
Off road boat ? Aren't they all😂
The tunnel not only epic but fuel and time saving..well done engineers.
While America busy shooting Afghanistan villager's,China figuring how to colonize moon
So many basic English mistakes here. 😅
While the usa has mastered reusable rockets china is learning how to dig holes.....amazing stuff 😂😂😂
America do this before 100 years ago
Sounds like someone should move to China! BTW you wouldn't be allowed to criticize anything openly again without consequences like prolonged detention Comrade. 😂
Bottomline. US is 30 years ahead of China.
Umm, ALL boats are "off road"!
Vibrations ultimately affect weak rock bonds overhead...anyway hope for best as it will reduce travel time and cost
This was the vehicle I used to call like the BladeRunner like in the movie!
Ccp needs stop still technology you have smart people look what they can do this id the difference between ccp an it's people
where's the tunnel? i wanna know where the tunnel is... Here tunny tunny..
Title subject not until 10:22
Cool stuff! Pretty wacky narration though
Nice. Why did you rob yoga of the actual posture name in last take?
humanoid robots always walk like they crpd their pants
Cant they afford some carpet for the stairs so the Pity can climb them?
I wouldn't go into that tunnel for all the rice in China...LOL
Ikr? Feels like a disaster waiting to happen. The workers are really brave working in those conditions.
Tofu tunnel!
Tunnel will create soundwaves and vibrations due to cosmic ray events
1:00 Great but why is the only benefit software that's then take months to develop wow hah

HAVE YOU NOTICED EVERY NEW AIR VEHICLE IS GOING TO REVOLUTIONIZE AIR TRAVEL???? I SAY IT SHOULD BE QUITER……
How long would it take China to build a pyramid that is 20 miles high for launching rockets into outerspace??
All this is great, keep going. But someone please make an affordable exoskeleton so all disable people can walk, seems like a small ask concidering everything we have already created,
Creepy table.
yeap tofu tunnel that is.
I wonder how long before EV's are banned in the tunnel.

China is a country with many mysterious things. I am always curious and want to explore this country. Thank you for a good video.
I cannot stand visual click bate and "The world is shocked by...". Not watching, thumbs down, not reccomened.

The morphing table is the epitome of uselessness. I wouldn't give 20 cents for it.
I would give 20 cents…you forget resell market…you must not like money
Only China make it happen ‘any impossible turn to the possible’
BS
Thanks for rubbing in our faces at what what ChinaGots
(the tunnel boring head looks a lot like it's a design from a German company - so it's either a partnership, a rebrand or rogue copy?)
