Now most of the Indians know that WESTERN MEDIA is BC.
Religion conversion 20%
Exactly....majority is christian institutions doing it.
BBC never forgets to show dharavi. Even in a tech video!!!!!
Brother don't worry, one famous man has said " If people starts criticising you, then you are on a right direction, because no one cares about your problems, but when you are developing people starts to talk about you".
BBC directly goes to Dharavi... every time... It seems they have a permanent station in Dharavi :)
@@ankurbose4581 yes brother
@Ankit Patel ha ha ha 😀
Can't understand what bbc is trying to show the poor india or Space technology.
@Ape man Commeth easter egg for you recently GSLV MKII just launched GSAT 29 for internet speed in India and with that its variant might be GLSV MkIII is going to develop to allow Indian astronauts in space by coming 2020-2022
Oh look the brits judging their former colony, must be amazing!

It's certianly what u can smell when u land in Mumbai. Welcome to India

Showing slums of india by the international media is kinda common now 🤔
This mentality is a reason why we are so slow at development .
They are repeatedly showing slums because it still exist. And they will as long as it exists. What's wrong in it?
@@nikammangfi5973 Poverty is common in almost all countries. The foreign media never shows the developed sides of India.
@@tirthachakrabarti5912 developed sides ?? Like ??? Our highways? Shopping malls? Ambanis' home. ? What ? Well ambanis' home is shown like always .
@@nikammangfi5973 Yes highways...Railway Stations, good looking urban centers, Airports, Hospitals, Universities, Supermarkets and even small but clean and planned towns. Not only slums and crowded markets and also not only Ambani's house- that's another kind of stereotype.

"The cities kind of work?" What do u expect after 200 years looting? before the British, Indian literacy rate : 97%
Indian GDP : 25% ( 40% before the Mughals)
After the British, Indian Literacy rate : 10%
Indian GDP : 4%
Sahaj Kuldeep I don't think we have 40 % before the Mughals....
India was not even a united country before british....
All the wealth was reserved for just brahmins or Maharajas, We was not better shape than what syria is toady,Was Having war With in Indus Valley
How do you think India had 25% of world's GDP, we had no natural resources (at least there was no technology to mine at Industrial level), We never had any manufacturing Industry, Agriculture yield was 100 times less what one farmer can produce today,
And British didn't just took away all the wealth they create their own wealth, just like China is doing toady they are not snatching someone economy but making their own
don't belive everything what you read on Internet.
India's Economy is bigger than British today in dollar terms and still we have no proper roads even in big cities, Rail infrastructure pretty much what British build for us, I don't need to tell you about buses and other means of transport.
There is no stable electricity even in cities like Mumbai, Yeah financial hub of India. You can imagine what's the condition of villages despite having one of the world largest coal, Thorium reserves, and Geography for Dams, Solar and Wind power and we are still blaming British (I don't even think we had electricity long after world was shining at night.
Yes, British rule was not a good thing millions died, Economy of the region halted for more than a century but we need to move forward
Oh! and BBC is only showing what their reporters observed tell me they are showing something wrong.
Tell me when did last time NDTV, India Tv, Zee News, Aaj Tak, etc., cover stories of any startup such as Team Indus
sonu singh milk truck has arrived, send desi vagene

Thanks for showing us where we are at after British left us and how we are coping up with the mess that was created by the Colonial British.

Yea they have one called “colonization” they are dreaming to colonize galaxies now. 😝
They have a lapdog program. British Prime Ministers being lapdogs of American presidents.
To all people who are bashing BBC, I have one question : how many of our own media channels have even covered our own wonderful start-ups Team Indus and Graviky Labs? We Indians are first to complain about everything rather than seeing anything positive.
Nitish Chaudhari sir u don't know the laiki of BBC they show negative part of India in each and every videos whether its good or bad.And also the poverty situation in India are also becoz of them.
Naive. Lookup "information statecraft" and how countries use them.
Nitish Chaudhari,, spot on..!!!
100% correct.
I entirely agree with you, Nitish Chaudhari ! How to change this attitude?
I thought this was all about the space race and technology as the title of the video suggest. Didn't know that Mumbai's slum were related to it!!!!!!
Meikho Deli bbc they hav colonial mindset till date people in india british bitching corp
Video is as I expected from BBC....
Thank you BBC to make us aware of Traffic and poverty
Bbc never forgets to show slums and traffic
24/7 electricity is provided in Gujarat in every corner since Last 10 years
Come to Gujarat don't generalize whole country
Same in madhya pradesh last 10 years..
Same in UP as well from last 3 years
Maharashtra and mp should thank Gujarat for this
Same in West Bengal. Electricity only goes when the electricity board has some job to do with the transformers.
Wow, today I came to know, that, India also as a private startup in space race!!!
If such clean documentries are made (rather than other bbc and cnn documentries to offend India and Hinduism, while hiding this innovative side) than for sure, Indian will adore such nice documentries. Really good made with clean intentions with no western bias, pre-conclusions and false narratives. Keep coming up with more of such videos. Great work.
All Indian Patriots Community I was surprised too.
these documentaries are targeted towards viewers who don't have a national ego to rub.
Adur Pandya It's not about ego , you need to do more research on how India is presented or rather portrayed in international media / papers. The only news about India that make it to /published in international media are about Poverty , Rape , Religion (just Hinduism) , caste system , cults , Superstition and filth . That's all .
for which audience though? I'm saying that this documentary has a different target audience than the documentaries you are talking about. The audience that has an ego to rub enjoys looking down on other countries. This is not limited to India or even just developing countries.
Adur Pandya oh , I misunderstood your comment. Anyways , both of us are speaking the same but differently .
The topic is Rocket and space but no when plane lands in India I will go directly to slum not to a research center.👏👏👏🖕
According to this video staying in slums our India is fastest growing economy and good aerospace technology..so just imagine what will happen ..if we buy houses 😂.
@King George we live here we don't need videos tatti man
Notice how they always point the camera at slums, garbage and by-lanes of shanties.
dyn 900 That's like me going to the worst run down hoods of Detroit, Camden and the other shitholes and calling the entire US a shithole.
EXACTLY......THEY ONLY POINT AT SOMETHING, IF THERE IS SOMETHING TO POINT TO!!! SINCE THE BRITISH ARE NOT USE TO SEEING SLUMS, ITS NEW TO US!!!
quantumpolariton122 your whole country was a slum few years back and i have seen east london full of garbage on roads and people eating and throwing stuff on roads go check videos of it on google.
The Brits can't get over the fact that India has done good for itself despite its massive population and problems that go with it. This is why they spend half of the content of their tech program like Click to cover India's slums and poverty. Its an inherent obsession. Every BBC or Channel 4 documentary has to have dollops of these images of India's poor and its slums to neutralize those of progress.
I noticed a sense of compassion in the voice of this British host while taking about the poverty in India. Well, in return, I feel pity for him too. Because, he's also a product that belongs to the British education system which misguided thousands of innocent Britishers, leaving them clueless about the History of their own nation. The history that tells the truth behind making Britain a rich country (for a time being) or should I say "a surviving nation". So, all you Britz: "It's high time. It's time to Wake up! Open your eyes and try to see the reality. Just because your ancestors added the word 'Great' before the name of your nation, certainly doesn't make you or your country great at all".
I'll throw an example with a short story to make things a bit easier to understand:
A burglar entered a wealthy person's house. He saw a lot of cash, jewellery, antiques etc in there. After seeing the display of wealth in that place, he decided to steal and take away each and everything with him. So, He did exactly that, and turned the house into an empty space, leaving echo behind. A few years later, he came back to that house with his son. The house was much bigger and the owner was a lot more wealthier. The burglar told his son about his time in that place in the past as an accomplishment. His son asked him "You took everything from him, and yet, here you are again, teaching me to steal. The thing you should teach me instead is, What is that thing that made him wealthy again after being looted by you in the past and turned you into a poor man even after being the looter?"
I hope you like this story... 😇
hi India, you are able to make the cheapest spaceship ever. So brilliant!
BBC should shift its office in slum of India.
Height of jealousy. Backward BBC..
All you guys need to read Shashi Tharoor's An Era of Darkness.

This start-up is in Bengaluru...and this media is showing Mumbai Slums
India just launched successfully yesterday Chandrayaan 2 and 48 days later it will land on south pole on moon for first time in human history. Chandrayaan 1 mission was first to confirm water traces on moon.
Team Indus literally has nothing to do with India’s Legendary ISRO.
That breast cancer detection device was great.
hey guys, the site www.readytomingle.org still working? I cannot access the site from oversea.
well what they have shown is ground reality which includes good and bad phases of Indian current situation. well
there is no doubt that we have done amazing in many sectors with great innovation, slums needs to be treated well or be with it. India will keep shining, depends on how we co-operate to solve the issues. jai hind
Why so much hatred? Yeah! I know because British looted us. But you know what was the ancient Indian teachings?
Look at Japan. They also had to face problems after USA dropped nuclear. But they don't always brag about Americans and do their work instead. Now look where is Japan.. So, just please go find a job, find a passion and your work in those areas will really be called as contribution instead of spreading hatred. That was the past and hatred had never done any good to anyone.
@Ritesh Patel very well said
Hey you should know about japan and indian .India is biggest country than japan and Have have large area and population than japan ,japan have population upto the population of gujrat ,for them it is easier to recover from these disaster but for india it is not so dont compare japan with india
You are compairing Japan with India Japan is small country with less people but India is just opposite of that even India was looted for 1050 years 800 years by Mughals and 200 years by Britishers and 50 years by khangress but we are devoloping faster
They ruled over us for nearly 300 hundred years!! Where is ur sense of proportion??
The holes on the wheel for dynamic balance, that is a smart idea but the rough surface on the moon will give you much more bumpy
bounce than the imbalance itself. Sand will still trapped in the wheel and rotating with the wheel causing additional drag for each wheels. I would make outside of the wheel covered. also I will use a bigger wheel and with much short fins in case one of the wheel trapped between rocks.
Thanks for the Information.
We will add this information in Space programs to do list.
Guys let them criticize. It's actually doing good for our country.
And to let them know, our media hasn't started criticizing western countries at least 1% of what they're doing to us.
We have our own problems and we take every criticism seriously which makes our country where we are today after brutal British rule for centuries

India has a long way to go in terms of technology..
@Xplocial OnlineNetworking before commenting search kiddo india has is 2nd largest GDP with highest economy after china , Being rich doesn't make u better always that's why British didn't reach to mars and india did !
ARM?
@Xplocial OnlineNetworking same thing you were saying to Chinese a decade ago. Where are they now? And please reply to the original question. I can't seem to recall any british brand? How's londonistan btw? And for the information of the poor white kid. Who's the fastest growing economy again? Who's going to overtake UK again? 99% are unemployed? XD I never laughed this much in my entire life. Most of the people here are self employed in unorganized sectors which is simple economics. I know, it's way out of your league. No need to feel bad.

For the first time a foreign media has shown both ends of the story.. nice !!
Thumbnail and Video is extremely contrasting
Dude.... Whatttaaa camera work !
good thought
What excites me is the sheer streak of hope for the future in the eyes of all the subjects in this video right from the tech biggies to the children of the slums.
Thanks BBC, for bringing that out. In bombay no one has really gone into those slums and given those people a voice. That only happens around state elections. I am so glad I could see it through this video.
@G Joeye fuck western fuck western
Do you know Dharavi (slum of Mumbai) highly industrialised area with residence
thank you bbc ,very nice doc
It's very interesting that in every documentary by BBC don't forget to slum of india ,They don't forget to dominate
A lot of fellow Indians are complaining that the BBC shows only poor and underdeveloped parts of the country. But, you'll have to acknowledge the fact that massive improvements are yet to be done in infrastructure, education and healthcare sectors.
Things take time! Be optimistic and instead of bitching about a foreign news agency, work hard for your own country's development.
abhay tyagi The people who are pointing out poverty in India see only poverty all the time, never side with India even when we r right and abject poverty in our country is directly their contribution , that is why u see people complaining about the imperialists!!
Sir why u didn't ask him that whether women go for mammography after that sensor device screening or not. The guy is selling a product
Gud documentary
BBC should focus more on the series of crises that have engulfed the "Looter Nation" called United Kingdom: (i) After all the pseudo-development witnessed in UK with the money looted from countries like India, it lost all its glory and became a satellite to USA; (ii) It faced dismemberment itself with Scotland leaving the Kingdom; and (iii) it is facing untold political and economic crisis post-Brexit, with some 7 ministers quitting the Cabinet of PM, May!! well! India is on its road to progress regardless of what British or BBC wish!!
I totally agree that India rules the world. Just wait and see. I believe that India will stand up like China and both countries will be working together again to make the world a more peaceful place. China learns from India before and they don't ban China. China 'Journey to the West' is well known to many Chinese.
It's good to see BBC praising India.
No ..+Wrong... Delhi has never had any power cuts since several years (sometimes may be a few minutes that's it).. you may be telling a decade old ..
Pollution.. not due to fossil fuel..it's crop burning....in NCR
Excellent documentary and I think it was very fair. I was so impressed with the ingenuity of the Indian people. They have a great future!
So much of hatred, they showed several other good stuff too; which no one seems to appreciate but do want to take offense for showing slums and garbage, lol
Avidi Arshid ignore these thugs ,China will show them what is real hatred ,China started first step towards fucking Brits ass .see Chinese entrance in core sector in UK

Still scratching my PhD brain how does one start introduction of a paper with slums and go to aim of the paper as space tech. Does British or American Q1 journals Nature Science accept such a paper?
Woah I didn't know that sun sets in mumbai before it hits horizon,.. how is pollution responsible for this phenomenon ? Is it that the pollutants in the air scatter all light away from the surface of the earth earlier than it happens in the case of the normal unpolluted air?
Idk why bbc choose India's 23% slums or poor places common dude .
Why thay always go to Dharavi

Gravicky Labs should pressurize the carbon and resell it to diamond tip, or exploit cheap labor force in India to make the diamond tips. no? IDK
Do you foreign media know only slums of india....Not on other side.....Wtf ?
Why can't they explore other places than Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi?
You agree or not , but India has only three cities which are competitive at global level. These are Delhi Mumbai Bangalore. Yes, we have other cities like Hyderabad Pune Ahmedabad etc which are famous for business and IT sector. And there are many more Cities like Lucknow Jaipur Indore etc. Which have very high potential to become competitive and rich. But the problem is govt. Over past 70 years and present( wheather it's BJP or Congress) govt. Gives attention to these three cities and a little attention to cities like Pune Ahmedabad Hyderabad etc. What I mean to say is that if any company has to come to India it focuses on these 4-5 cities only , and neglects other cities like Jaipur, Lucknow, nagpur, Indore etc. The reason behind this is that govt. Thinks developing metro train and flyovers in top 3 or 5 cities means urban development. It high time govt. Should build more infrastructure and create business environment in other metropolitan cities.
Oh man, stfu
@ResearchShyVids Why don't the government improve Infrastructure ? The day your infrastructure becomes good they'll have nothing to show , instead of blaming try to improve Infrastructure do protests ,etc
Nice intro
Love this video because it shows the real indian life. Indian media never shows this things ...Hope to see more like that
India is changing but bbc is enough capable to change his thinking .Bbc is such a great snake charmer

Why they have to show only low level slump sites only. There are better places well
If people started to pour money into renewable energies and clean energies rather than space travel. Not only would we not have all of the pollution from those rockets but we could start to solve the worlds energy and pollution problems.
