I know this is a year old but reason you found it hard to stick is because you used a tar remover. This is oil based, you basically oil slicked the surface. You need to clean the surface of all the oils, waxes etc with isopropanol alcohol.
@@easomr5353 I am about to do the same to my i20 (2021 model), which has a spoiler lip like yours, so I watch some videos on how to do or not do it. As I have understood, the stripe has to be flexible and stressed slightly. Some people even pull it back and then re-apply it...
Thank you exactly my problem too...
Done mine ebay 2.99 keep up the good work 😉
I shall have a look at ebay

You should use alcohol based cleaner and maybe a better pinstripe (that one looks cheap).
I had more luck second time round, but yeah don't buy that one

Hopefully I gave you a good idea on how to fail 😂
@@easomr5353 You made me more worried... hahaha
But again, 5 bucks of tape is not much.
My bad, hopefully it all goes smoothly for you and you do it better than me
Try a brush and some lettering enamel...
I done another video with different tape and was more successful with it, still on the car now to be fair
