Good one Knackers. One small thing I would add. When building my first saw horses as an apprentice Chippie, I was told to also cut the bevel on the top of the legs. That way the end provides that bit of extra direct support, for those times we sometimes put heavier loads on them. That is just me and your method would do everything you intend it to. Keep up the Dad jokes, I am not allowed to use them at home, except when the kids visit. They still laugh, even if my wife does not.
Hey uncle knackers. It's a great project you have as usual. I think I'll use glue and dowels because I'll certainly forget why I have the plug there. Thanks for sharing your work👍🏾
Too good looking! I'm thinking of adding a vise/clampy thingy at one end of each of these horses. No idea what I'd use it for but better to be prepared when opportunity/need arises.
Sorry mate, was a bit late to this video. They really live up to their name! I agree with other comments they look too nice to use. When I get my big shed I’m saving in up for I am going to make some! Proper job!! Respect from the UK 🇬🇧
I love making these things. If you move the legs in a few inches from the ends, the I-beam design allows you to make brackets from the same 2x4s you use to build the sawhorse to quickly slot on all sorts of detachable addons for jobs that can attach by drilling a hole through the centre beam in the I and the U shaped bracket you slide into the I and slapping a bolt through to lock it on. Very handy and versatile design that can serve as a portable workstation with a little imagination and time spent building a few things to further it's functionality.

Great saw horses, indeed. If you're a little careful with your saw, they're going to last you a long time. One little idea: you could add a board between the legs of the bottom one. It can be a place to lay a tool, and it can be a place where you can put some serious weight of you need your saw horse to withstand some pushing.

Great and easy saw horses. I'm making some like this. The only addition I'm going to do is to not use plugs, but instead put dowel protruding about 10mm from the bottom screw recesses. Dear Uncle! For added dust collection and riving knife I picked up a Makita track circular saw (6 1/2 inch blade) with tracks and I am getting ready to use it!
