While I've seen that some people may bash this mod..am I the only one that just feels happy to see it back? this is an og mod that I've been following for a long time and I even thought at some points it wouldn't continue. The story once again has that same bittersweet feel and I love the art!! Really wonderful update.
Father Fairest was based on ShiniTrexx’s father and Grace (soft gf) was based on a girl that ShiniTrexx went to high school with a she was sheltered by her parents and had a bad grasp of reality it’s very heartbreaking 💔
Something I’ve noticed(probably just me over looking something that probably isn’t even there but still something to consider) In the dialogue for Stay, Grace mentions that Benny was always the better singer. Now that’s nothing, but what I’m thinking is that her parents have made her really insecure about herself. In my opinion it also comes off when Benny is telling her to live her own life and not what her parents want her to. She might be scared to because she thinks no one would take her as she is other than Benny. Again just me probably over looking it. But still it looks like it.
Not many dig the whole Soft aesthetic, because personally it's really pathetic and a little cringe. I also don't dig the yaoi business it revolves around.
As a victim of domestic abuse, after watching week 1, I absolutely feel bad for Ben (Soft BF). His father is really overprotective and thinks he can control his life but no. Father Fairest also threaten Ben of he lose the last song hell whip him back to shape. Thankfully Soft Pico was able to save him. This mod is actually getting better after 2 years. FNF is now getting better and better. I love 2024 :)
I’ve been through what Grace has been through, with her never being able to see her friend again and not succeeding in her goals. I’ve been like that before. Therefore, I resonate with Grace.

And it's interesting that part of his aggression toward Ben seems to come from him being a Fairest, but then when he accepted his loss, they were just like "oh wait, you're actually normal? My bad"

I think that Soft Tankman is gonna be Soft Pico's dad, because I think that the epilogue is hinting towards that... That's what i think though. For Nene and Darnell, idk anything about it, it could be something related to Soft GF/Grace since that's the alternative for Pico in this Mod...
Maybe they’ll replace Darnell and Nene with Whitty and Carol, since we know Girlfriend and Carol are close friends and you can’t have Carol without Whitty
As someone who has been following this mod since the beginning, I see that a lot has changed. Drawing dialogues, music and characters. I'm incredibly glad that the mod has become even better and I can continue to enjoy it. I've seen a lot of mods, but exactly soft my favorite! You go through it and your heart just screams with joy and worry for the main characters! To be honest, this mod has a lot of meanings that make you think. Benjamin reminds me of me.. My parents also manipulate me and tell me to do what I don’t want. I love to draw, but it's a waste of time for my relatives. In any case.. Honestly i loved how they changed everyones model and added changes to the mwp designs and Added new music instead of a copy of the song from original this was fun to watch the extra two weeks and pico and Benjamin dating song omg so cute
Well, I certainly never thought this mod would ever see the light of day, but thank god, it's still alive, I thought the project was practically abandoned at one point.
36:28 they did an amazing job with Grace’s sprites the arm shake and the light tremor actually gives the impression of her sadness and the story is great i feel bad for her and ben :(
It's complicated has always been my favorite track of the mod, mostly because i could sympathize with Grace and because the music was just amazing and really captured how she was feeling. This remake is great as well, i love both versions sm

Man, after 2 years of develop, I’m so happy to see this Soft mod back, within V2 update, it’s better than ever, the voice acting, the new cute sprites, the Soft Senpai week and everything is so great, on a pride month make sense here and they did a wonderful job!

Whaaaaa the Canon BF week was removed???? That was one of my favorite weeks in the mod 😔 A bit of an art change is gonna be a lil different and getting use to but at least this was finally updated!! I’m so happy to see this mod get the love it deserves at last. It’s got a super charming design to it and banger tracks all its own. Plus the story is a really clever and emotional take on the original game. I can’t WAIT to see Tankman.

Well I have this: -the mod was literally the same copy of the original fnf (except the storyline and the last song of each week) -the backgrounds were....not bad but it aged bad -the songs (well the originals) was bland and feels that raw fnf era -The characters really feels out of the way in the original fnf background (except the first and monster's ones)
Man, I almost forgot this mod existed. This was a blast back in past between me and my friends, I really didn't expect that one day this mod would come back... And... It did! Man, this mod certainly taught me a lot of things in the past, it taught me several things like having a relationship that wasn't been accepted by your own parents or how to have a girl who wanted things to be her way, but can't be. This take on a Friday Night Funkin AU is wonderful, it shows things in a different way in this universe. In the original game, boyfriend is an completely asshole and naughty boy, but his heart beats a lot for his dear girlfriend, which he always put his life in risk to proove how much he love her. Here he is a sensitive and delicate boy who is in love with Pico, one of his old ex-colleagues from the original game, who appears to be in love with him. Many characters were changed/replaced by other members, except Skid and Pump who seem to have the same characters and feelings, but what I'm trying to say is that it's cool to finally see a mod where Boyfriend fights for his own good and for his boyfriend, which also usually gets him out of trouble in this universe as well. It's simply a wonderful mod! Congratulations on your exciting return!

It's complicated has always been my favorite track of the mod, mostly because i could sympathize with Grace and because the music was just amazing and really captured how she was feeling. This remake is great as well, i love both versions sm

Man, after 2 years of develop, I’m so happy to see this Soft mod back, within V2 update, it’s better than ever, the voice acting, the new cute sprites, the Soft Senpai week and everything is so great, on a pride month make sense here and they did a wonderful job!
I wish Skid and Pump's voice should be Sir Pelo's, but it's okay tho..
Sr pelo is a big figure who they probably wouldn't be able to get ahold of, plus it's a fan project which is all made for free where sr pelo would probably expect compensation

I’m so happy to see this mod get the love it deserves at last. It’s got a super charming design to it and banger tracks all its own. Plus the story is a really clever and emotional take on the original game.

Well I have this:
-the mod was literally the same copy of the original fnf (except the storyline and the last song of each week)
-the backgrounds were....not bad but it aged bad
-the songs (well the originals) was bland and feels that raw fnf era
-The characters really feels out of the way in the original fnf background (except the first and monster's ones)
Also yeah, the storyline was kinda messy

Man, I almost forgot this mod existed. This was a blast back in past between me and my friends, I really didn't expect that one day this mod would come back... And... It did! Man, this mod certainly taught me a lot of things in the past, it taught me several things like having a relationship that wasn't been accepted by your own parents or how to have a girl who wanted things to be her way, but can't be. This take on a Friday Night Funkin AU is wonderful, it shows things in a different way in this universe. In the original game, boyfriend is an completely asshole and naughty boy, but his heart beats a lot for his dear girlfriend, which he always put his life in risk to proove how much he love her. Here he is a sensitive and delicate boy who is in love with Pico, one of his old ex-colleagues from the original game, who appears to be in love with him. Many characters were changed/replaced by other members, except Skid and Pump who seem to have the same characters and feelings, but what I'm trying to say is that it's cool to finally see a mod where Boyfriend fights for his own good and for his boyfriend, which also usually gets him out of trouble in this universe as well. It's simply a wonderful mod! Congratulations on your exciting return!
