For those of you wondering about that sick lick at 7:30 ... It was just perfect fourths moving in parallel motion. Chick Corea and many other Jazz greats used to do the same.

One of my favorite young top players. Full of energy endless chops and he's still learning. He's not through yet. His love for chords and embellishments with passing & neighboring chords, licks and various intervals of kinds is refreshing to hear and inspiring. Nice brother too. Met him a few times. Love this brother. I've been playing years before he was born and I wish I could play like him. 🤣 Keep it up Jairus!

The strat is the extremely rare Fender American Deluxe Stratocaster 2008 HSS Mahogany body , maple neck and rosewood fretboard. The heavier body combined with the bridge humbucker gives it an SG style tone.

Hey and keep doing what you're doing, maybe get some of the young boys interested in what you do to keep them off the streets and gangs. I'm just learning the guitar and hearing you play gives me much incentive. Think about the young brothers out there who need role models.

Pretty good equipment, nice harsh sound - full of feeling/emotion:
The Electro-acoustic is an Ovation CE model of some kind I would imagine...it is *really* affordable compared to his solid body electric - Fender American Stratocaster Deluxe (again some sort of custom ((non-stock)).
I would like to know the exact model on the Ovation myself
