His best phase was the start of phase 2, famous Jeremy. About 2017-2018. I remember I couldn't wait for his videos. He wore suits with a tie, was using the big room with the fragrance rack behind him, and had great content about current fragrances and invited beautiful women to comment on them. This was leading up to Fragrance One, but once Office made him $$ the greatness ended. He became a joke after 2019.
I've seen him twice in a park across the street from my job in NYC. He looked lost and alone both times. It was raw. This was the time when Fragrance One was out on the market for about a year already. I stood about seven feet from him. I didn't say anything because I felt he was going through something. I'm not one to run up to famous people. However, in the 90s I did stop Yngwie as he exited a bar with two blondes. That was worth it to me.
The main issue with the current version of JF is he doesnt create enough 'Top Ten Fragrance' video's with the same recycled content.
I met Jeremy between at Kenneth Cole fragrance launch event in NYC once around 2016-17 between those 1st & 2nd periods, maybe a year or two before Fragrance One was launched. He was pretty well known by then but still a super chill, down to earth guy. Took a pic with him and got to talk with him briefly and got no weird or egotistical vibes from him and he was very personable to everyone who approached him. Haven't followed him in years but I have seen clips of his later videos and it's like I was watching a totally different person. If he's dealing with some personal issue in his life, I genuinely hope he seeks help. I miss the old Jeremy.
I liked his videos back in the day because he would feature women in them. He hasn’t done much of that in years.
He was best when he first started, the first 3 years of his YT journey. I will agree with you on his charisma, his looks, and how he went about his channel. Unfortunately, now, he needs to step away from social media and get help. His behavior and mental state are not normal.

I work with mentally ill individuals and believe that Jeremy suffers from paranoid schizophrenia. This condition is often caused by trauma and drug abuse but can also have other origins.
Recently, I talked to a woman who said she believes in God and that God is inside her. She was referring to the voices she constantly hears in her head. It is extremely difficult for individuals with this disorder to accept therapy and take medications to stop the auditory and visual hallucinations.
To someone unfamiliar with this disorder, these people might seem "weird."
Jeremy fragrance is unrecognizable. He hasn't aged well the last 4 years but you could see it was still him. Today if he walked by you at a Macy's fragrance counter you wouldn't know it's him.
A video came out that he requested his followers that he needed funding to get an updated laptop, after getting his funding he ends up with a ferrari, which is surprising , I'm not sure if thats true or not.
However i did like the old Jeremy, well-groomed, confident, very knowledgeable
Not like to all white flashy , speedos , shirtless, talk nonsense, over self-confidence, no control , lost of interest the fragrance

I think he was great until the Patreon Ferrari scandal.....then the prices of his fragrances and admitting on camera to essentially trying to cash in as much a possible.
I remember when this was a small community and people eagerly awaited his top 10 lists. Unsubbed from him ages ago but from what I saw not too long ago, he does not seem mentally well.....sadly. Hopefully he squares his life away.
I would love to get a bottle of Gravitas or the others but it's no delivery to Norway.. :(
He was great. Quirky, a bit weird sometimes, eclectic, sure. But his vids were entertaining and of good quality.
To me his falloff began when he started focusing on Office for Men.
He kinda started treating YT as a business as opposed to a hobby. I don’t watch his videos anymore, haven’t been for years.
I hope he finds his old ways again and be more authentic.
People can hate on Jeremy, but he is solely responsible for getting a ton of people interested in the fragrance community.

Honestly I think it's just drugs, that's what it does to people unfortunately. He needs some help from loved ones. He really was great at this and knew a lot about fragrance so it's sad.
Michelle from curly Fragrance doesn't really seem to know much, she just plays up her looks and puts a sexual innuendo on everything to play to the simps and virgins.
He's not down bad until he makes a video titled "TOP 5 Fragrances JESUS was wearing"
That was really interesting Mr Smelly.
I much prefer his earlier stuff, he was handsome and really smartly dressed and had lots of gorgeous girls in his videos.
As you say he really sends to have lost his interest in fragrances now and is ageing really weirdly (in my opinion) now.
I'm guessing he must hangs lost a vast majority of his viewers on UA-cam these days.

I only got into fragrances in 2020 so I never watched him, I got here in a different way. I don't watch his videos, I find him cringe.
Smelly, I think you’ve peaked, and sadly long ago. Making countless videos of this bloke offers no value.

In his Golden period he was the best entertainer and a little bit informative. I didn't go to him for fragrance analysis but for reactions. Good stuff.
In contrast, it's amazing that The Perfume Guy has the same passion after all this time. 🫡
