Will there be a sale at the Naughton & Wilson website for your fragrances anytime soon? Really want them
I wouldn't after this video.
It didnt work
I bought Hermes H24 because of Jeremy and its sucks.
I was going to get angry cause of Club de Nuit Intense, but you liked it! Everything's totally spot on in this video, quite surprisingly.
Jeremy is the reason many of us got into the fragrance game and the reason other fragrance channels are watched. Gotta give credit where it’s due.
Nah bro. Before jeremy there was robes08, drac doc, Fragrance Bros, Street Scents,Coach Rob,Redollesence,Greggieboy etc. Jeremy just blew up because of his format of having attractive women in his videos rate fragrances.Real OG fragheads know what I'm talking about.unless you only started watching Fragrance reviews after 2015
He's also the reason for ruining many fragrances because of his shameless "hype-beasting". When a fragrance gets ridiculously popular over time it gets diluted...
Jeremy told every guy to go out and get the same 5 fragrances so now the entire gym or bar is smelling like Sauvage and Eros.
@@qb402 there might have been people before him, you're missing the point AND proving my point. It doesnt mater who was before him. Jeremy brought a lot of people into the fragrance game. Im not talking about nerds witting in their bedroom sniffing bottles. Im talking about everyone, its undeniable.
@@JesusChrist2000BC which proves my point if the entire gym and bar smells like his recommends.
I am not comfortable with being negative about a fragrance because it is popular. Approx 20% of men wear frag regularly, 60% occasionally. If you wear scents regularly, you are in a significant minority. I’m an Acqua di Parma guy myself, but both Sauvage and Bleu de Chanel are amazing scents. This is why serious frag guys end up smelling like buffalo urine. They talk themselves into being unique - and that uniqueness seems to always runs toward harsh and heavy. Smelling good is not about having the latest niche, it’s just about smelling good. Cheers
I was literally about to give a similar breakdown. Add to that the trope that *EVERY GUY* is supposedly wearing: Aventus, Sauvage, Dylan Blue, BDC, Invictus, 1 Million, Eros, Voyage, Axe, ADG, etc.
Seems like a play to make themselves seem more unique.
Brilliantly said. Buffalo urine🤣
people never know what the hell im wearing. They ask what’s that it smells good 100% of them time. Lady at work asked me what I was wearing the other day. It was Lucky by you for $15 dollars. What does that tell you ?
For somebody like me who doesn't know a whole lot about any of this, it really is hard to try to find something. I first started looking for something that would be good and fall and winter months but found myself going back and forth between something being great and then seeing that it sucks LOL At the end of the day it's more for me. I found out through chance that certain smells just made me feel better. With the internet everything becomes a new community but sometimes it can be off putting for Outsiders
Agreed. I am willing to bet that I very, very, VERY rarely come across a single person on my daily travels that would even recognize Le Male, Sauvage, or ADG.
Sauvage and CDNIM are an abomination... they both smell like air freshener. Bleu De Chanel is a classic scent to me but also a victim of its own success, hence the boring Versace Dylan Blue. Never smelled Nautica Voyage but heard its vapour at this point... My Smelly is being kind here on the whole.
Just because so many people own it or it's popular didn't change the way it smells. If it's good it's good
TRUE! SAUVAGE ITS HATED BUT GREAT... ITS IN MY TOP 5 WITH LAYTON,TUXEDO,HACIVAT & INTERLUDE IRIS...SEXYBEASTS🙄🙄🙄
True, but Sauvage and Bleu de Chanel are abominations.
exactly. its popular for a reason... its good lol. this guy is just n old snob
Title: "Jeremy hyped these and they suck"
Video: "All of these are ok, actually. And I respect Jeremy a lot."
Don't criticize other youtubers for doing exactly what you try to do, man. Makes you sound like a hypocrite
Exactly
LOL good burn
He did it for the thumbnail clickbait
everyone and their mama using jeremy's name for views. Shameful
Sound like a hypocrite? He is a hypocrite
Dylan Blue is a fantastic fragrance one of the best selling Alberto morillas creations for a reason.
fantastically boring you wanted to say, it literarally smells like my 4 dollar deodorant, whats a point of wearing such fregnances?
@@Yoxa4 Haters gonna hate. Its compliment effect speaks for itself. Its very strong and long lasting and the smell is really nice girls love it right away.. its watery fresh almost like fresh water of the lake in a hot summer morning or evening with that aquati fougere combined with classic earthy and woodieness, the grapefruit adds some fruityness and the tonkabean an amount of sweetness.
@@LA-st6dq I didn't tested it fully, but top note is very bland and boring, just like most of blue fregnances, I have seen worse like DC intense, when it's literally 5$ shower gel smell, but this one is not far from it, I hope other notes are solid, otherwise it looses It purpose as a perfume
Dylan Blue smells like Axe deodorant. Alberto Tortillas dropped the ball here.
@@Yoxa4yes, the top note is quite generic grapefruit. But if you smell it in detail the depth and detail it has is sexy and amazing girls love it
Great to see Dan's take on modern popular fragrances. I disagree about Dior Sauvage. Yes, everyone's wearing it. But everyone else still thinks it smells amazing, especially ladies.
Sauvage smells very average. Like an expensive nautica voyage. Women do like nautica voyage though even though it smells like a spa or cucumber water. For some reason my most complimented cologne is perry Ellis 360 red, perry Ellis midnight and 9pm
If people want to attract people, it's easy why Jeremy is a popular channel. The dude is a bundle of energy and confidence.
Just got Nautica Voyage a couple weeks ago, after seeing Jeremy hype it a bit. Definitely not my favorite sent, but it really works in the summer at the office or the gym, inoffensive and light, it's like it has a useful place in a collection.
For its price, it’s very good
Considering it's price, it smells great
brut is alot better, nautica smells like soap its 2 much, gives off a ponce vibe
@@VeganChiefWarrior which brut?
@@nizamuddinmohamad6920 original brudda.. the only good scent my boujee ass tastes like, actually tested a whole bunch of scents today, all terrible lol even the other brutes are terrible, maybe its the french in me i dunno but in general i have the best tastes in everything
years ago JEREMY FRAGRANCE got me started on my Fragrance journey.. My mission was always about creating scent bubble Women enjoyed being in the presence of .. over 1k scent collected and an obsession developed over time .. .. doesn't matter to me how popular a sent it , cause I've reach level where I know how to layer Cologne so it smell unique on me ... what Jeremy did for me was nothing short of amazing..I spent many nights in the club "testing " different scents including the ones he's listed ... Ive never herd a woman say " don't wear that its to popular "... honestly the one line you'll find women saying is " you smell great , what's that your wearing " which in a club setting is likely to mean 1 of 2 things ... A: I would like to get this for the man in my life or B: you got a shot don't blow it ... those who know know
DYLAN BLUE gets me lots of nice complements when I wear it!
It's a nice frag don't sweat this
I get crazy compliments with this
Dylan blue is lit and a 200ml bottle is pretty cheap
Hell yeah Dylan blue a nice cheapie
You are the best, Dan. Love what you’re doing.
Thank you so much Justin. I am honoured as I hugely respect your channel !
I am starting to get a fairly respectable collection and Dylan Blue is probably my most complemented. 🤷 is what it is.
Dylan Blue is a blind grab. If you need something to wear, it's hard to argue with that one. Best fresh type scent I've purchased lately is Fakhar. Wow. It is good.
I agree with your Top 3 Chanel picks but I also really enjoy the Parfum concentration of BDC. It’s richer, darker and more mature than the EDT or EDP. Hoping they’d next release is something new. We don’t need BDC Elixir.
I think Club de Nuit and Nautica Voyage are on top of the fragrance game when it comes to value for your money. Both of those fragrances will last quite a long time and smell fantastic. Sauvage Elixir is a bit pricy and might be simular to other sauvages but personally i don't like sauvage EDT and EDP, i do really like elixir though. Blue de Chanel, i don't understand how you can say anything negative about it, i haven't smelled it on that many people at all and it's one of the best fragrances out there if you ask me. I think Creed Aventus is too expensive and Versace Dylan blue isn't really that special (actually smells almost simular to Calvin Klein Eternity but with better performance) but good value for what you're paying. I think the fragrances you mention might not be that unique but they're hyped for a reason; they're some of the best fragrances out there.
If you want to smell Classy you can't go wrong with Chanel. I bought Sauvage based upon an Ex girlfriends recommendation and never reach for it. It bothers my nose and definitely screechy. Own CDNIM and Voyage. I second buying from "My fragrance samples". I have 19 samples from Mark and always get free samples with every order. Always sample first. I learned the hard way. Cheers
Totally agree on sauvage. It’s one fragrance I just cannot stand. To me, it has a very overwhelming almost headache inducing cheap synthetic note that carries from the opening all the way through the dry down. I just can’t believe how popular it is when there’s so many other better smelling fresh fragrances on the market.
I don't know if it's me, but Sauvage smells like desinfectant to me, really cheap smell
Totally agree with u on this mate
It possibly popular also cuz Johnny Depp been face of them for years
Only popular because people get suckered into buying sauvage at macys. The macys employees always pushing sauvage. They must be getting paid off by them
I appreciate your content sir, straight up and brutally honest 👌
I gave Dylan Blue away twice. It’s just too synthetic up close, I always end up scrubbing it off.
I never liked Dylan Blue. I thought it smelled like a synthetic shower gel mess with no transformation on my skin. I MUCH prefer Versace Pour Homme.
Pour homme is so dated and synthetic
Im a simple guy, I see MrSmelly`s new vid, I make myself a meal, sit down and click "play".
You are so wrong about Dylan Blue. It's one of the best "blue" fragrances. Also, I would think that you would like Eros, because, once you get past the opening, it has a very classic dry down. Powdery with oak moss Vetiver and cedar...it's really nice! Obviously, Your nose is broken!
Jeremy is reason why your videos popped up in my feed along with others doing the same thing tbh.
Who's Jeremy`?
Great video with some great choices in there and I enjoyed it and have a blessed day
My personal favorites are: Yves Saint Laurent L'Homme (Eau de Toilette), Aqua Di Gio Absolu, and Tom Ford's Noir Extreme. I get a lot of compliments from the ladies. 😎👍
Finally someone thinking like me on BDC and Dylan Blue not bad fragrances just not worth the carry on.
I like Nautica Voyage too nice and fresh
some ppl especially men like to hate on nautica voyage but it got me and some ppl i know more compliments sauvage or aventus
Totally agree with you on all points except that the current formalation of Cedrat Boise is really weak.
Try maceration
I've got a batch from January 2022 and it was so awesome as my first Mancera I now have eight more bottles of Mancera with more on the way. It catapulted itself to the top brand in my collection.
please keep posting, ur such a fresh vibe to the frag community 🌷
Hallelujah finally an honest reviewer!
Thank you!
That Dylan is from Beverly Hills 90210 series!
:-)
Ah thank you Dylan!
I like Dylan Blue more than Sauvage … it has more depth to it … in the heat that’s awesome !
Me too!
That’s the incense. I think it’s alright.
great video. Dan is 100% right about Mancera Cedrat Boise
Jeremy is in his late 20s. I can see his recommendations working for a younger audience. But he mostly comes off as a paid shill for the usual designers. He seems to be promoting some niche because he’s probably losing his older audience that’s been into fragrances for awhile.
Sauvage is my safe everyday clean fresh fragrance, personally I don't think it's anything special but I still get so many compliments
Always classy Dan! You are No1 in frangrance world. Bravo!
Hi Dan, if you want to be unique pick up a bottle of Patou MA Liberte from the 1980s. Real French perfume with real ingredients likely mysore sandal wood. The quality is outstanding
Agree with you on Cedrat Boise it’s a great one and a bit different to Aventus. Never tried Nautica might have to sample it now ☺️
Nautica,? Don't bother. I would give you mine for free, which is full, if you would live in the neighborhood.
@@louiscaeiroramos8051 Just bought it. Its all hype.. It doesn't perform at all 1 or two hours and its gone.
These are all great fragrances. Jeremy had what EVERY other reviewer wish they had. Women and pizazz, that’s what we wanted and that’s what he gave us 😎
Nowadays Jeremy has sold out. He's a shadow of his former self, and acts like he wants to be anywhere but making a fragrance video. He's burnt out and his fame has gone to his head.
Emperor MrSmelly, have you ever been to Paris? And if you have, were there some fragrances you could smell over and over in there general public? I was there May 2022, and did not smell Dylan or Sauvage once. But I did smell: Aventus, Millesime imperial, Oud for greatness and BR540 wherever I went. So its like the parisians are just as unimaginative as the rest of the world, but just on a higher budget. Have you had any such experience with Paris or city like it?
My $20 Nautica voyage has caught me more compliments from attractive ladies than many of my $200 fragrances. Funny Little tidbit.
That Shows Sum cheap Fragrances are worth the price 👌
Yup. True also perry Ellis 360 red and perry Ellis midnight women love. 9pm is another good one. Club de nuit is only good layered onto a sweet smell like 9pm and club de nuit layered is a killer combo. Same with the 2 perry Ellis colognes I mentioned layered together gets all the women attention
Love the alternative you suggested!
This is the first time I've seen this man's channel, but I like the cut of his jib.
Few things I think worth noting about this video:
1. Criticizing Jeremy on fragrances he recommended seems more as a matter of opinion. Jeremy recommends what he feels is worth your time as well as what this bloke likes. It's up to the consumer to take the information given and make an educated decision in regards to their next purchase.
2. Though I respect his view on what's worth buying and what's not worth buying, he admits to not owning one or more fragrances listed, which leads me to wonder how well he knows it considering the fact that he says "it's too popular to buy". I would suggest the consumer try a tester if nothing else to check it out. I tried Sauvage EDT back when it first came out and STILL but it to this day regardless of popularity. A good scent is a good scent. Am I wrong? Acqua Di Gio came out in 1997 and flankers are still getting rave reviews. I think
This is all a matter of opinion and everyone should be given the chance to try something they might enjoy. It would be a disservice to direct someone away from something someone personally doesn't like, but still sells well. IT SELLS WELL FOR A REASON. Again, people like what they like. Being different is relative.
All that said, I will be watching more. This gentleman seems to be passionate about fragrance, so that's a plus.
Btw, he didn't unbutton his jacket to sit down lol
Although I Iike some of the fragrances you like, you also have hyped on various occasion Agua de Colonia Concentrada from Alvarez Goméz and that one, really sucks. It is a cheap bug spray.
Furthermore, I don't change my view towards Bleu de Chanel, the one fragrance that always puts a smile on my face whenever I smell it, simply because many people use it or because it has been inspirational for dozens of other fragrances, including Dior Sauvage and Versace Dillan Blue.
It is more original than Chanel pour monsieur, which was inspired by Acqua di Parma Colonia (1916) and Floris 89 (1951).
Totally agree with Blue De Chanel. If Axe released the same smell, people wouldn't bother smelling it again in life.
Never a truer word spoken. Generic shower gel smell.
If one of your fragrance becomes as popular as one of those mainstream fragrances that everyone seems to be wearing, would you recommend people stop buying it ?
🤣😂
Very interesting your new approach to fragrances
I use to be knee deep into the fragrance game I own over 300 bottles that I've accumulated over the last 15 years. I gave up around 18 months ago due to the reformulations that these fragrance houses do to their highly amazing fragrances. They initially come out with the fragrance being 100% and then slowly they water it down to where it affects the fragrance in many ways. It's like they are robbing their own customers and I'm not ok with this.
Wow, that’s pretty impressive! I just started this year and am already overwhelmed. Bit disappointing to hear about the fragrance companies. Gonna try to remain a causal collector 😄
@@JerryMcquire007 under 30 is the sweet spot. The problem is finding your perfect 30 in the sea of forgettable scents.
I completely agree with you on Creed Aventus and Dior Sauvage. I don't have Dylan Blue or Bleu de Chanel and never considered purchasing them. I prefer Cedrat Boise over CDNIM or my 2012 bottle of Aventus(which was a gift). No disrespect to my fragrance brothers who adore the ones that I don't care for, we like what we like. Good video!
I really understood Jeremy when I bought (and sold) his Office for man...
Just subbed enjoying content 👍😊
Hi Dan,
Good day. Impeccable choice of attire. Classy!
I think you lost the cufflink on the right cuff. You might have to revisit that branch of Costa to search for it, if it was of value to you.
Kind Regards
Renoy
PS: Love the list of stuff I don’t care for at all.
Just because every one has it does not mean it does not smell good. I disagree with his take on cologne Dylan Blu….I’ve gotten so many compliments.
I agree with most of it. The blue type fragrances smell insipid, sour and like 90s era body spray. I respectfully disagree about aventus. I did not know it existed until December 2022. Went to the counter to smell green Irish tweed but thought it smelled like cool water, which is a fine fragrance. Sales person went through a few other Creed fragrances and left aventus till last. It hit the spot perfectly. Left with a sample and bought a 100ml bottle later that week. No regrets.
Club de nuit intense man is amazing 👏
Do they ship to mexico?
That intro was HILARIOUS!
I'll pick Dylan Blue over Nautica Voyage. The price is great and it is an easy grab
I wear/buy fragrances that I want to have in my collection if I like it or love it I'm adding it. Doesn't matter what anyone else thinks it's my body I want to wear whatever I please however every nose is different so I don't agree that fragrances suck but rather maybe a fragrance isn't for me for example I seen so many videos and people praise terre d'hermes and H24 I finally got to smell them 1 week ago I don't like it personally its no lt for me but I wouldn't say it sucks never just that I don't find it for me personally it's not a fragrance I would wear. Simple.
That friendly bug at 2:17 😄
I was introduced into the fragrance world by videos of Jeremy. My opinion ? Also Mancera Cedrat Boisée is hyped. I once tried a sample and was not impressed. I skip it as well. After many years of exploration, my advice is : Be very critical. If there 1000 fragrances in the universe and you want to own 7 (one for every weekday), you need to skip or pass 993 fragrances 🙂
I'm always trying to be different so yes your thoughts on it makes sense.. so I'm definitely looking for affordable unique colognes that make me stand out without choking you out. 😂
Agreed with BDC regarding the EDT & EDP but the Parfum is a masterpiece and actually lasted on my skin compared to the EDP.
Creed Aventus , Nautica Voyage and Dior Savauge, belu de channel ok this dude is tripping my first time watching his videos...... yeah idk about this list these 4 are solid.
I will save you 13 minutes of your life :
His logic is basically : Those fragrances suck not because they are not good but because you can smell them everywhere.
I loved your opinion. Great video
I do really like the Elixir and was my first one that got me into fragrances. Is there any niche fragrances you would recommend that smell similar to the Elixir with that spice, wood and hint of lavender?
Nautica voyage is one of the longest lasting most beautiful smelling cheap unique perfume on the market. 10/10
Poor Jeremy isn't looking good. He looks sunken in. I hope whatever he's got going on he's able to overcome it.
I thought the same. He looks haggard and too skinny. Sad really but his fan club tells him he looks great as always 😢🙄
Probably all the weird diets he's gotten himself into. Some of these diets can even affect people mentally. He needs to drop it and get some carbs in.
@@blacklion2432 exactly
Think it was Jeremy that said Dylan Blue pulls compliments. I bought a bottle and it smelt like a bubble bath from my childhood. I left that bottle one side for months. I decided to try it a few days ago again and got few compliments on that day. For some reason it's very appealing to females
What about Creed Aventus Cologne? That's a different variation.
Bleu De Chanel is a Masterpiece nobody should be wearing Antaeus or Pour Monseiur regularly this day and age instead of Bleu De Chanel just because it came out after 1998 doesn’t mean it’s bad
I agree with all fragrances you showed. Sauvage however i like,i pick some natural notes and the smell is masculine.
Sauvage is awey
Sauvage is so good!
Dylan Blue is a great fragrance, not basic at all and totally unique!
Jeremy didn't do it wrong, using his name negatively in the title to boost your views doesn't show any respect. Sauvage EDP is still a great fragrance, too mainstream but still smells good and beats most fragrances out there.
I found your channel and I was hoping that instead of tearing other fragrances down you would be a lot more constructive. Unfortunately this is exactly the kind of negativity we do not need in the community. You can’t use someone else’s name to elevate your videos and just because something is popular deem it as something that you shouldn’t own. Being different doesn’t mean being a tool sorry.
I finally smelled Eros after seeing Jeremy mention it all the time and I hated it b
Nautica voyage is my spring summer casual lazy day scent. It's hard to beat when you want to relax
I recently got 6 new fragrances as I used to only wear Bleu De Chanel. My new favourite is Dior Homme Intense. I now have Sauvage EDP and Sauvage Elixer but they suck compared to Dior Homme Intense.
i agree with dillon bleu not for me as well.
Nice to see Kieran Lee in a fragrance video, even only for a brief moment, lol :))
Haha
Aventus and Bleu de Chanel are ones I'll never buy. Too expensive for what you get. Way too many beautiful fragrances out there for a fraction of price. With clones it's a no brainer
Buy bleu de Chanel if you enjoy wearing it
You should wear a shirt with a bigger collar and the outfit would be perfect. Maybe size bigger
MrSmelly, if I am wearing Kouros do you think it's a valid choice?
I haven’t watched this video yet but I’m going to say this… I blind bought 2 frags thanks to Mr Fragrance’s recommendations. One being Nautical Voyage which I hate (makes me feel a bit nauseous) and the other being Abercrombie first instinct (which is pleasant enough but very disappointing) and I know they were both cheap but I still feel like I’ve wasted my money.
Or Rasasi Rumz 9325 instead of Aventus.
I don't care about Jeremy recomendations anymore BUT ..
Dylan Blue have won almost every street blind test so it does not suck ;)
Asteroid or meteor whatever it is hit my neighbors house yesterday in NJ...why can't I be that cool 😢
Dylan blue is the nastiest blue fragance i know, for people who cant afford bdc edp, ysl y, luna rossa ocean etc
Looking smart Dan 👌 I would unbutton the jacket while seated 🧡🧡🧡
H24 is the best perfume now but the price dang
Dylan blue is amazing,, I think it’s better than blue de Chanel..always get compliments 🤷♂️
Dylan blue is my favourite, allrounder
Awesome episode mi amigooooooooo
Thank you Marcial!
Hi Dan ! Great video as usual 👍Really appreciate your honesty. Keep going this direction so more people can find something different and unique upon your recommendation. I really like Burberry For Man (classic). Whats your opinion on that fragrance?
Thank you sir!
Versace pour homme is bang on, i regret buying dylan blue.
Dan, I agree with Dylan Blue. Just started with fragrances a few years ago when I requested, and received, a bottle of Dylan Blue for Christmas. Terrible....no. Very good.....no. Gave it 4 or 5 wears and then gave the bottle away. I've come to realize through trial and error that the more "classic" scents agree with me. Hence the appeal of this channel.
If you can find it for a reasonable price ($50) I enthusiastically recommend Vera Wang For Men !
Great review
