Pad Fishing In Florida Can Be Exhilarating

I love fishing in and around lily pads. Many people find it very frustrating, if not infuriating, trying to work a bait cleanly through them. It seems like there's always something snagging up your bait. And those pad crotches! OMG! Get your line in one of those and it's instant headache. I agree. I am not immune to the challenging tribulations of fishing pads. And if you do get bit in the pads, that's when the fun really begins, trying to get the fish out of them without hanging up further or breaking off. But, as with anything, practice makes for a better experience. Not headache-free mind you, but better all the same. It IS do-able. It can be done. And with results possible like you'll see in this video, the effort can be worthwhile. So put those big boy pants on and give it a try.
