- This is part 2 of the 1973 mustang revival, we take the mach 1 for a ride to the local car wash for a good spray down and comet wash and then back to the shop to vac out years of mice droppings!

That’s the best looking Mustang body style they made in my opinion.
Wow! That cleaned up nice! Great effort. I hope this is next year’s PowerTour car. Hopefully there is less rust underneath than the Apollo! If you get discouraged working on it, just go back and rewatch the “MACH 1” logo reveal at the car wash. That feeling will get you through any future discouragement. 😎
cleaned up a lot nicer than I expected.. Nicely done
In the middle of restoring my own 73! Luckily in AZ rust isn't an issue, but at least yours runs.
I am normally not one for "petena" but that Mach 1 looks great after the buff and shine. Can't wait to see the mechanicals getting the same attention.
Awesome ride and vid. Rear left has a little too much patina if you ask me though. Lol
This series reminded me want to watch Ford vs Ferrari which I finally got around to today
I love these 71-73 Mach 1's. I know - not a first gen - but every bit a driver muscle car by any standards today.
71-73 mustangs are still first gen. Even though they are a bit bigger. The 74-78 was the 2nd gen. That’s why they are called mustang 2
You got a good candidate for powertour 2023 right there sir. I would go ahead and be working on it now so you don't have scramble when that time comes. Keep up the good content I subscribed.
Cool project. I'm new to your channel. Following 👍
Nicely done, great video😎
Ooooweee. That interior looks a 100 times better also the patina looks great! Good job man. 👏
Your elbow grease really help the stang !
Man oh man, that patina on the hood, fenders and roof is perfect. Really glad I stumbled across the channel, will definitely be catching up on your other videos!
Love the car keep it up I subscribed
Had one of these in the '80s the dash pads were all cracked back then. I'm sure they make a replacement one now but they didn't then.
what you need to do is call AMD ( All Metal Direct ) get new sheet metal and get to Restoring this very kool car!!!
Looks great compared to when you brought her home. Great restoration project.
How much???😅
Not quite ready , but one day.
@@streetratgarage good luck
“patina” = rusty worn out paint… I've never seen somebody expel so much energy so needlessly on a car that clearly just needs to be stripped down rot repaired and put into primer. There's an entire species of few people out there that seem to think patina is some amazing mystical thing when it's really just a rotted outpaint job that’s in need of repainting…
You should see my 1969 chevelle!
