well i’m hoping our sticker survives after you add that massive bugger as it look like we are slowly being covered 🤣🤣🤣🤣and ads zoe is defiantly lovely WE LOVE YOU ZOE ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hi Ads, we lived in York for 5 years, and even we had to pay to go in but as a one off mate it’s incredible. Good to see our old stopping ground. Cheers 🐧🐧
Lovely video, those dog/bike washes can come in handy at times (especially if the dog has rolled in something 🐕) and you’re right they are a bit unusual. Thank you. Enjoyed - David 👍
Knaresborough has the oldest chemist in England and it used to have a zoo which was across the road from mother shipton’s cave. We used to live, occasionally, just down the road from Brimham rocks and used to play there at weekends and school holidays.
We have been to York many times. Never knew you could go and walk along the old city walls lol. Oh and its pronounced Knairsboro lol. I like the look at that camp site at Knaresborough. I like the idea of sites with bars on them. We will have to try it out. I went to Brimham Rocks when I was a kid. Loved it.
@@HermanHitstheRoad I think it would depend on how far you have to walk to find a bar or pub lol. I have never been one for drinking at home. I always find that we buy some beer at Christmas, then it sits there untouched for 6 months after lol. I probably wouldn't drink that much back at the MH. I always prefer a nice cosy pub.
if you like pies, I can highly recommend The Piebald Inn at Hunmanby near Filey East Yorkshire. They have tons of pies to choose from. They also have spaces for a few motorhomes in their car park. Some have EHU too. Well worth a visit. There is a park in Hunmanby too Orchard Farm Holiday Village. They have a few pitches. We stayed in a nice cottage there in October.
@@HermanHitstheRoad Great, they allow dogs in the bar area too. I may have been wrong about them having some EHU though. But they do allow a few Motor Homes at the bottom end of the car park. There is no mention of this on their web site though. I guess you would have to give them a call. If they don't have spaces, then Orchard Farm Holiday Village isn't that far away.
The Norfolk site also has a restaurant also called the wanderer i think? It's Knaresborough not naresborough. Were going over christmas it's a great site also the Guy Fawkes pub great food and drink!!
Brimham is a fab place isn’t. I was there myself just the other week and lucky enough to find it quiet. The rock climbers love it and it’s obvious why. Great vlog 👍
We were there last month 😀 The Wanderer also does take out and we called and ordered pizza and a bottle of wine because they don’t allow dogs, so it’s not a five from me. However, if you had to shared the bar with dogs you may have then given it a four. The dog walk area is good but the boundary is trees and hedges and although they say you can let your dogs run loose I’m sure my dogs could have got through onto the busy road, it needs to be fenced off to be safe. I may have missed the fencing but I don’t think so. Loved York and knaresborough. Thanks for sharing.
Great vlog folks, a trip down memory lane for me. Zöe is, of course, lovely ( in a weird sort of way), and weird ( in a lovely way)! Did she take you down Whipmawhopmagate in York? Always worth a visit 😎. Any plans for Hermanfest next year?
Of all the times you said Knaresborough you only managed to pronounce it correctly once ( when you were in front of the wooden finger posts , 😁 , you were correct not to pay to go in to York Minster , its scandalous to be charged to enter a place of God , sorry about the rant but the locals feel quite strongly about it , on a more positive note i`m glad you enjoyed your little trip to N Yorkshire
Enjoyed as all ways we have a 544 our selfs take care and good look
Stewart William
Thanks Stewart, glad you enjoyed the video. How old is your B544 and how long have you had it?

Thanks Anthony. 👍
We call it 'Nairs' borough not 'Narrs' borough. We might be wrong though. 😊 She is lovely and weird!
Thanks Bob. So rhymes with fairs rather than cars?
@@HermanHitstheRoad that's it.
That’s correct Bob

That must have been great to play around as kids. Beautiful place. Thanks Sunbeams 👍👍
Enjoyed that Guys. Next time your in York, you should take a look at the Shambles and the river. Thanks for sharing👌👌
Thanks for the tip, Our Days Out. Glad you enjoyed the video 👍
We are all someone’s version of weird, just keep being who you are, lovely Zoe. Take care Gill
Very true, Gill. Thanks 👍👍

I like the idea of a pub on site, Andrew but not a holiday park.

I also prefer a beer at pub but you can't beat a beer and a BBQ with your motorhome in the glorious sunshine 😋
Lovely 😎
Glad you enjoyed the video, Adventures Type 👍👍
Great vlog guys, looks a lovely place,

Thanks CamperVanya. Glad you enjoyed the video and Brimham Rocks 👍👍
Took our kids to Brimham rocks pre teenage years - they said it was the best day out ever!!! Going to say you don't pronounce the r in Knaresborough!
Thanks Stuart. I hoped you enjoyed the video 👍
I thought you were going to say it was free to gain entry to the walls but had to pay to exit them great vid by the way
Thanks Dan. Glad you enjoyed it 😊
I presume you were parked at the Rawcliffe P&R?
Isn't that what we say in the video?
Oh, sorry we said Rawworth. Always get it wrong hahaha

Great City York , Knaresborough is a good choice , pronounce Knare as Hare. Are you heading for the Dales ?
Not this time, Helen and Martin

LOL, John. I'll let Zoë know.
Whipma-what-was-that? I'll have to look that up.
As for HermanFest we are thinking of June. More info later 👍👍
Love the channel but really think Zoe should have her on channel . Keep the bids company coming !
Hahaha Kevin 🤣👍 what would Zoë do on her own channel? Not sure what "keep the bids company coming" means Kevin 🤔.
Thanks for your lovely comment 👍👍👍
@@HermanHitstheRoad bids -- videos . ignore the word company . perhaps Zoe could do a cooking slot . The meal with Rob and Lynn looked very tasty
Thanks Kevin
Zoe has got the pronunciation right!!
Thanks Antony 👍👍
Crikey, all those lawyers, judges and Police. Made me sweat a bit 😂
One of them did ask where you were after seeing the t-shirt 🤣🤫😒
@@HermanHitstheRoad They seek him here, there seek him there.....
LOL 😆
its a silent K we call it naresborough
LOL Larry. That doesn't really help 🤣👍. All you've done is removed the K 👍👍👍🤣
🤣 very snappily dressed for your visit to Knaresborough, sorry about the sticker size....
Great T-shirt, Alex. Thanks 👍 🚐
Narsborough😂😂
Does it rhyme with fairs or cars, an04ker?
It's pronounced Knaresborough as in mare not nars

Fun fact (not that fun). Mother shiptons cave used to be owned by magician Paul daniels.
