Lovely vlog thank you! We’ve stayed at Mosel camping many times. Cochem is expensive to eat out. Tourist trap. It’s so picturesque though. Looking forward to the next one 🚍☀️
We were away and then struggling with our technical difficulties so I’ve not been up to date with your videos. We stopped at Blegny, rather quieter when we were there and the restaurant was shut. Paid for a 2€ jeton for hook up, plugged in and got a night of free electric. Still got the jeton in my spare change. Was organised trips only into the mine, we couldn’t go down. Been to the Mosel valley a bit in past years. Very pretty but very touristy and expensive.
You did make me laugh with your joke. Shame the schnitzel was substandard. Glad you are ok after the near miss. It looked lovely by the river. Take care Gill
Cochem looked fab. Think you were there when I last spoke to you - We spend a lot of time in France (and Spain) and you don’t need to spend any money in aires in France - we don’t- there are so many with water and toilet cassette dump that are free. We usually go and visit the local town and get a coffee or beer or whatever. Fantastically welcoming- great vid and a nice mix of places - anyway, glad you’re all ok! Have a fab trip 😊
As I’m sure you know the slip roads onto and off motorways in Europe are much shorter than the uk and people do seem to just join so you have to have your whits about you and keep. He king your mirrors and if space pull them vertically the second lane. Great video. Love the Mosel.
Hello. The signs from no more than 3.5 tons are for the bridge you are riding on. Or you were riding on. It was probably during the weekend. They do that restriction because they are welding on that bridge for restoration. And that is only for big trucks. Not for Herman. In relation with vibrations on the bridge. 😄 Alain From Brussels.
Hi Ad’s and Zoe, so glad both of you are ok. I was just wondering where the bed is in Hermon, do the seats make the bed. Great video, have a lovely SAFE holiday. 👍👍
Great to see you both in BadenBaden, one of our favourite places. What is your camera that you use your microphone with please? I normally use a Go Pro Black 8 but cannot use an external microphone. Looking forward to seeing more of your German trip.
I got fed up with GoPros, @beeoutdoorscouk. They are sooo unreliable. I'm using a DJI Pocket 2 with Creator Combo which has a wireless mic amzn.to/37PCVcL It's the best camera I've ever used. You have to get used to the gimbal because it doesn't point to where you think it's pointing. I also have a GoPro 8 (my last GoPro) and you can connect an external mic to it using the GoPro Media Centre connector or you can get aftermarket ones too
We’ve stayed on that same site about 4 times and your right about eating in the restaurant on site it’s definitely a lot cheaper that was daylight robbery €60s for your schnitzel it’s normally about 12- 16€. We walked up to the castle too we were absolutely finished when we got there and had to have a 🍺 and then found out there’s a bus that goes up to the castle. You’ll also have to go further down south towards Bavaria for your lederhosen 😂. ❤️
Lederhosen…a bit far north still for them, more Bavaria. If you buy a pair, they need to be “bedded in” by pouring beer over them and sit in them for a few hours or they will chaffe …..😢

Thanks @TheSlawsAdventures 👍👍
Glad you didn't get 'Wiped out!' Weather looks good so far! :-)
Thanks @peterneal7160 👍👍. The weather does turn bad and then mixed for the two weeks
It's lovely to see Zoe back on film. She does make me laugh with her smile, dry wit and humour. Have a great holiday both and keep filming xxx
Thanks so much @deaddave8805 👍👍. She liked reading your comment

Good show. Thanks
Thanks @mrhbarker 👍👍
Super video. Very different from the norm. Tell Hermon to behave. Stay safe and enjoy, folks. Very nice place to be seen and have saw.
Thanks @tstuart7333 👍👍. When you say "different to the norm" what's the norm 🥰

Thanks Gill 👍👍. Which joke was that? You know my memory
@@HermanHitstheRoad the lederhosen one at the end 😂🤣😂

Thanks @richardayres2949 👍👍. And those cloverleaf junctions can be dangerous too when you have many vehicles crossing each other

Thanks for the info, @aldeco5698 👍👍. We did see trucks on the other side of the motorway and bridge

Thanks @carolynandcocohaywood2638 👍👍. You can make a double bed with the seats but we use the dropdown bed above the driving area
Really enjoyed this vid . Zilch -- classic . If the cheese shop did not sell grated chedder then not intrested thx . Vid score 10 .
Thanks @kevinhodge6700 👍👍. That cheese was very expensive. You can grate most cheeses 🧀

We went south, almost Switzerland!! Still didn't see any lederhosen
Get to Octoberfest you will see Lederhosen
Thanks @danielmunt3336 👍👍. Unfortunately, we are back in the UK and have missed Octoberfest entirely

🤣🤣 thanks for the lederhosen tips, @mikecusac3406 👍👍
Cochem am der Mosel to give it's full title. The letter H is silent so it's pronounced Cocem. Great video thank you🙂
Thanks @georgemoore5139 👍👍
A schnitzel with a patatos @ 60€ that’s robbery 😮
You need to watch again. 30 euro each including a beer.
Thanks for commenting, @Albert_Pipers
Not impressed by the silly thumbnail facial expression. But take care. Have a great journey.
